In this episode, I am joined by Kristen Nagle, who is a former registered nurse. She was a registered nurse for 14 years and primarily worked in the NICU. It is said that our children forever change us and Kristen experienced this more than she ever knew possible. After the birth of her first son, she became really passionate about the food for her children and how she was nourishing and taking care of them. She ended up enrolling in the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition, where I actually graduated from in 2001. She became a Holistic Nutritionist on top of being a nurse working in the conventional medical care system. Her second son had some issues after being born and being exposed to some of his early childhood immunizations, which really opened her eyes up, especially working in that industry. It really just, peeled off this kind of top layer of us being able to, as parents, as mothers, ask questions when our child's body is exhibiting something that would feel outside of the norm of our baby. Then in having her third baby, her little girl, this really felt like her redemption birth, which would forever change the perception of how incredibly strong women are and the beautiful gift that we have been given in motherhood. So now her passion has transformed from being inside the walls of the hospital and being out into the world and helping women find their power to truly reclaim their birth. Let's dive in! What about the sugar? The caffeine? The alcohol? Is it ok to buy or does it need to be homemade? If we buy it, what do we look for on the label? What is “sugar free” kombucha? Is Kombucha really as healthy as people say? What if you have candida overgrowth? Some takeaways:Kombucha - a fermented tea - has the capacity to nourish us beyond the body. “Kombucha is abundance in action”The sugar in kombucha, while necessary for the fermentation process, has a lower glycemic impact on the bodyThe caffeine content in kombucha can actually have a calming effect due to the synergy of the acids in the drinkPeople with histamine intolerance may have trouble with kombucha until gut health is improved in other waysMaking kombucha at home allows for more control over the yeast/bacteria balance but there are some good ones on the market Kombucha has detoxifying effects on the liver and can support sugar metabolism. The alcohol content in kombucha does not have an intoxicating effect. In fact, it may help curb alcohol cravings.Guest Bio:Hannah Crum, aka “The Kombucha Mamma,” pioneered Kombucha Kamp, an educational workshop, in 2004 out of her small Los Angeles kitchen. This is Part 3 of 3 in the Red Pill revolution Series. ABOUT JEREMY AYRES:Co-Author of The Red Pill Revolution and a lifelong pursuer of truth in all aspects of the human experience, there are few conspiratory rabbit holes that Jeremy hasn't explored. This well-rounded perspective has provide him a rare and unique take on life and how we live it. eremy sees clearly, the deception and manipulation found everywhere in modern life. Especially in the Medical Industrial Complex and their partners in the Pharmaceutical & Food industries. Harry was a healing genius who understood the classical philosophies and techniques. Jeremy's abilities and proven methods were eventually recognized and in 2013 he was given the title of Senior Practitioner of Physical Medicine by The British Register of Complimentary Practitioners (BRCPS ), now the International Register.
