"Honk for Jesus" is a very, very dark comedy about toxic religion and a disturbing and likely triggering subject matter plaguing far too many churches. It gets it right on every single level. And that seems to be upsetting some of the blessed and highly favored in the pews. They'll be alright. Honk for Jesus isn't about the Black church(alone). It's equal opportunity across ALL races, denominations and pulpits.
A slightly different take as we all move forward.

This one has really been weighing heavily on me lately as we see the Delta variant becoming more pervasive. That is deeply concerning for me. What's even more concerning is the hesitance and even resistance in many Healthcare professionals themselves to be vaccinated. This is something that is not getting much coverage in mainstream media, but it needs to be highlighted. Every Healthcare system needs to mandate vaccination for Health Care professionals who have any contact with patients for the safety of the public and other providers. Quite frankly, I'm surprised that the requirement wasn't in place as soon as the vaccines became available. But here we are, several months later and there's no such requirement in most of the country. That's NOT fake news. Sources are cited in this podcast.
