September is Suicide Prevention Awareness Month. It is also National Recovery Month. In the second of a two-part episode, Celia makes further disclosures about the despair and depression that was gripping her. Recurring thoughts of suicide, this time using the installment plan, were never that far away.Celia then talks about how she sought out help via the rooms of 12-Step Recovery, as well as weight loss surgery to take on the addictions of alcohol and food. Resentment is bitter indignation at having been treated unfairly. It's also a complex, multilayered emotion that has been described as a mixture of disappointment, disgust, anger, fear, and ego.Holding a resentment is like drinking cyanide, waiting for it to kill the other guy. Maya Angelou said that "Resentment is like cancer, it eats the host".In this episode, Celia takes you through the different types and levels of resentment. She also strongly suggests that we put away the poison by keeping our expectations low and our acceptance high. In other words, how to rise above resentment.

As of this recording, we are experiencing a pandemic of Covid-19 (a novel coronavirus). With "shelter-at-home" orders and social distancing recommendations, we are all facing a whole new normal. To that end, Celia will provide more coping suggestions that will help us, in a small way, make it through this terrible situation we find ourselves in.
Because of the current COVID-19 pandemic, most or all of us are walking in unfamiliar, scary territory. The phrase "stay positive" is used quite a bit, without specific suggestions on how to do so.
