Love in Brief is an ABDL advice podcast focused on love: love of self, love of others, and romantic love. (Note: ABDL is a fetish/kink, and all episodes may contain sexual content).
For those of us who like to (or even aspire to!) play with others in person, it can be daunting to think about how best to talk through what we want, what our play partner(s) wants, and how best to set up the experience so we all enjoy ourselves. Talking consent and boundaries is a baseline *must*, and talking desires and hopes makes for a much better experience! In this episode, Duffman82 (FL/IG) talks with us about how to set up for amazing play with great communication, how to continue to communicate even in scene space, and how to set yourself and play partners up for a wicked good time.
We're batting over .500 on our question-answering, and that's something, isn't it? In this ep we cover engaging the community in-person, what happens when being a Little contrasts with your own body-image, finding people in the community you trust, what happens when your content blows up, and does shared kink help relationships! Wow, now that we put it that way, it's a lot to cover. Enjoy!
Here's a short episode with two fun new announcements from Trest, one that will affect your adorable tushie and one that will affect your (maybe adorable?) wallet!
In this largely unedited bonus episode, RY interviews rnt hot off of CAPCON 2023 for a chance to reflect on the experience. We talk what it's like to go "solo" (without one another) for the first time, fears and anxieties leading up a long-awaited event, what it's like to truly feel free to play, and much more. We were going to have this reflection together anyway, and we thought you might like to listen in and learn along with us! Enjoy this casual and vulnerable post-Con conversation. :)
Retract your claws and soften your paws-- there is a ton of overlap between the Furry and ABDL communities, particularly with BabyFurs and ageplaying Fursonas. So we thought it was about damned time we talked Furry Fandom, Babyfurs, Littlefurs and Kidfurs! Welcoming Blue (bassblitzed on TEL, Bassblitzed#5255 on Discord) and Koko to talk about it all!
The world of Professional Mommying/Daddying has EXPLODED in recent years, and more and more ABDL folk are enjoying the doting attention (and sometimes discipline) of visiting a Pro Mommy/Daddy. On this episode we talk with two professional Mommies, MommyKat (@worshippinggoddesskat on IG/Tw) and MissFoxie (@missfoxiemommy on IG/FL) about what it's like to get into the business, the rewards and potential pitfalls of professional Mommying, and some tips and tricks for both someone considering a session and someone who wants to start being a Pro themselves. Enjoy!
We have hit the 100 episode mark, and rnt and RY were so excited to review their favorite (as well as YOUR favorite) episodes from the past 4.5 years!!! Tune in to hear what everybody thinks is the very BEST from the last 100 episodes!
This week, we sadly lost a pioneer, empath, and brother to the ABDL Community -- Spacey. Learn more about Spacey through his remarkable contributions via the Big Little Podcast, alongside Mako and May, at biglittlepodcast.com
PAAAAAARTTTTTYYYY! Tired of waiting for big events to come 'round? Are local/regional munches and meetups not enough time with those you dig? Try a home party! Our guest experts today are going to talk about how to throw a home party; whether you are a veteran host or are just considering your very first home shindig, this episode will help you plan and execute your very own ABDL home party. Thanks to our guests Hannah and Katrinka (FL) for their expertise!
All right, all right, it's Fall. It's definitely Fall. But we didn't do a Summer Question Round-Up, and we wanna reserve the right to do another one before the season is out! So, HERE IT IS, featuring 4 questions I simply cannot believe we waited this long to answer... they are so good! 1. How do you Little with no Big? 2. How do you Big with no Little? 3. How do you start dating again after a long marriage is over? 4. Will engaging in diapers ruin my dating life?
Let's face it, RY cannot get enough of two things: diapers, and people in the community making stuff. SO, when folks band together to make a new diaper, RY is all ears. On this episode, RY talks with TroublemakerTops and Mister Pastel Green, the co-founder of Cuddle Cooperative and designer of their first diaper, FairyLand, respectively. It's a discussion on how diapers get made, what it's like to take a risk and try something, and what's next for Cuddle Cooperative.
Here is our LIVE SHOW we recorded at SummerCAP! And boy was it a doozy! We were in the main stage room, we had a fantastic crowd of listeners, we had a line of folks ready to ask questions from the get-go, and the questions... holy shit, THE QUESTIONS... not a lot of soft-balls on this one! Can't wait for you to listen, and to share your thoughts... there is a lot of meat here, and a whole lot of loving community. And, we got to kick it off with a special announcement and diaper giveaways from @theabdlshop and @ageplayoutfitters ! Special thanks to our panelists @misspandapants, @SleepyK, @TheKyleMovie, Dr. Rhoda, @BabyMisty, and @Diapersandbrews -- Y'all were AWESOME!
What is it to be masculine? What is the difference between being male, being a man and being masculine? What are the pitfalls of masculinity, and when can it turn a corner into being toxic? And, most appropriately for this podcast... how does masculinity show up in the ABDL community? This episode with RY, rnt, @jlove00, and @teddybearwithme talks through some of the choices and challenges surrounding masculinity. And don't worry, it's not just for men, nor for people who feel a strong masculine energy... it's about the community, and the energies we explore together!
After a couple of years of hiatus, it's finally time to regather and celebrate together at SummerCAP! Whether you are going or not, we hope this preview gets you really excited about getting together again!
It's time to revisit our very favorite topic... MOAR DIAPRZ! This week we pick back up with Lu and Ultrapampers to dig into your comments on diapers, do a lightning round on medical vs ABDL diapers, and even reveal our very own FAVORITE diapers of all time!
I love 'em, you love 'em, we all love 'em! So, let's get out of the funk of the last couple of huge bummer episodes and dig into our VERY FAVORITE COLLECTIVE TOPIC! On this episode, I welcome UltraPampers and Bratsochista, two bona fide diaper geeks, to begin our two-parter on the most beloved diapers, the most sought-after collectors diapers, and even some of the history and science behind diapers and how they are made. Don't miss it, and stay tuned next week for part 2, and even longer deep-dive on brands we love and why!
We are back! Thank you for all of your support and love, as well as space to do what we need to. rnt and RY are really excited to be back and sharing this with you. This episode is (hopefully) last in our total-bummer series for a while-- it is focused on moving on after a really difficult break-up. We welcome @WilliamLittle (FL) and @BabyMisty (FL) as our sage guests on this episode, full of plenty of great perspective and advice on breaking up and moving on.
RY and rnt are sharing some difficult news. (Warning -- Some emotional content here)
Nobody wants to end a relationship, or start a conflict, or end up in legal hot water with another person. But it happens. On this episode of LIB, we tackle two case studies in divorce + litigation that dragged an ABDL kink into the proceedings, and talk about how it might be handled. NOTE -- THIS DOES NOT CONSTITUTE LEGAL ADVICE - You should not act (or not act) on the information shared here, but seek legal counsel from a licensed lawyer in your own State. With that, enjoy welcoming back our friend InconDL (IG) and Mighty Mouse (the.mightiest.mouse @ IG) for a killer discussion!
Hey, we know this isn't about ABDL stuff, but we hope you like it anyway! Instead of our normal episode, we're taking a week off to let some other podcasts shine, and recommending some new podcasts to get hooked on, all focused on Black History in America. We hope you'll give one of them a shot (or all three), and either way, we'll be back next week to talk dips, relationships, and all things ABDL. See you then! It's a New Year, so why not kick it off with a bang with 5 brand new questions that RY and rnt can tackle together? On this episode we talk self-care (and indulging in playtime) when you're with a partner who doesn't share your kink, we dip our toes into the beautiful onyx waters of Dark Ageplay, we talk about bullying and ABDL, we dig into when and to whom to "come out," and we finally do a run-down on our first dips and our favorite dips!
It's time for our favorite annual tradition! Thank you to all who contributed your voices and text sharing what made being an ABDL great in 2021! Let's ring in the new year with some positivity as we listen to all these wonderful things about our kink, and look forward to even more fun, community and personal growth in 2022. Enjoy!
It's Christmas Day, and RY wanted to share a little cheer, reach out to those who may be having a tough time, and offer a little advice for the holidays. Oh, and shamelessly ask for your help with our NYE episode!
After a brief (well, sort of protracted) Thanksgiving Day break, we are back with a great guest, @tatteduplittle (FL) talking about how he sustains his kink experience after he and his Nilla partner talked about it. And, a quick request from RY and rnt to give them an extra-special holiday present! (Hint: it's free, doesn't require you to like or subscribe to anything, and involves YOUR voice!)
Dr. Rhoda Lipscomb is back on Love In Brief to talk about her new book, "You're Not Broken : Dr. Rhoda's Guide to Strong Self Worth for ABDLs." It is a must-read for ABDLs, their partners, and even the parents of those who are ABDLs. The book is out now on Amazon in Kindle and Paperback forms, and is even available for free if you have a Kindle Unlimited subscription. Read it, review it, share it... it really is a remarkable work that drives straight to the heart of ABDL self-love and self-acceptance.
On this episode, we pick up with Part 2 of our discussion with @diaperedkent (FL) about the modern history of the ABDL community in the US. We pick up in the 1990's with the dawn of the digital age, and discussion about how the internet, email etc. sped up the pace of connection and brought with it some of the early sites in the community, as well as some of the community's earliest problematic digital behaviors. Don't miss this one, and go back and listen to Part 1 if you haven't already!
None of us know how long ABDL has been a thing in concept, but it has been a thing in name (in one form or another) for 50 years or less. And the ABDL community has been around for an even shorter period, evolving from snail-mail correspondence and back-room photo developing through the days of the very first PO boxes, personal ads and meet-ups, and well into the internet age. On this episode of Love In Brief, we get the pleasure of talking with DiaperedKent (@diaperedkent on FetLife) about his experience both participating in and creating the first ABDL communities in the United States, and possibly around the world. (We would love to know about other communities around the world created back in the 60's and 70's, please write to us!) It is an enthralling discussion with consistent themes for today, and helps us to question and evolve even further how we want to do community together.
This week's episode is out, and as always I wanted to get it straight to you! This week's episode was a request: what about those mistakes that people make early on that can actually be dangerous? And how do you avoid them? So we talked to two people who had just that experience and were willing to share their experiences, and some tips for next time. Huge thanks to Diapered Wolf Pup and Arellabell (who wants me to tell you she is 5'10" tall for some reason, which is absolutely untrue) for being brave enough to share their stories! CONSENT-RELATED WARNING: Parts of this episode are about issues surrounding consent. There is no physical abuse or sexual assault in this episode, but the possibility of it as a dangerous outcome is implied. Just a warning for those who may be sensitive to this.
In this episode we talk to a cybersecurity expert (and friend in the community) about common mistakes people make regarding their data privacy, and some really practical tips and tricks on how you can do an even better job making sure your private life is kept truly private. (It's also a first for LIB -- RY is substituting his voice in for our expert's in real-time for the purposes of... well... privacy! Let's see how it goes....)
We are back from our annual summer hiatus, and rearin' to go! Psyched to get back into the question collection, dust off a couple of wonderful but overlooked questions, and hopefully pull out some timely advice. It's also time to share a new theme song from a talented LIB listener! Here is our quarterly question round up, where we tackle issues like keeping friends between events, being a kink N00b in a big city, how to find love beyond just the kink, and how normal/weird you are for liking what you like. We hope you love it!
Yes, we just put out an episode yesterday (you should listen to it, it's awesome). But we got some big news and COULD NOT WAIT TO SHARE IT! Hang on to your metric systems, this one is a record-breaker...
Some of us dream of making podcasts, some of us dream of making art or music or literature... and some of us just go all in and build an entire giant diaper store. Well, that's what theses guests in our Makers Series finale did, anyway. We talk with @realcoffeemom (IG) @dadgazm (IG) @_fuzzy_dunlop (IG) and @dabsanddips (IG) about how they built their ABDL SuperStore, ABDLr (@abdlrdenver on all social media), which is opening in Denver in August 2021. This intrepid crew reflects on the others who have come before them to pioneer selling adult diapers in retail, talks about the process of going from dreaming to doing, and looks forward to what may be to come for ABDL retail in the future. Aaaand, some sneak previews of the store features!
By popular request, we give you this counter-punch to the Drunkypantz RY episode... a very tipsy roadnottaken eating answering listener questions! Key talking points of this episode include - strawberry ASMR, terrible mathematics, what to do when 'the talk' goes bad, rnt's poor decisions, the missing kink, incontinence questions, dangerous online behavior, arts and literature and did I mention the terrible mathematics? Back to our regularly-scheduled programming next episode, but we didn't want to miss a chance at a return-volley from rnt and about three vodka-citrus cocktails.
Call it what you like: paid content creation, pornography, sex work... whatever you call it, it's a thriving part of our community and a place where a lot of creators and entrepreneurs show off their creativity and spirit (and sometimes lots more!) :) This week's episode features Sunny Days (@littlebitofsunny, IG) and Chad Sexington (@nunchuckdaddyakabobby, IG) to share their perspectives as a more experienced and brand new sex worker, respectively. We talk about making the turn from unpaid content to paid content, the pressures and plusses of doing sex work, and look at advice for how those considering sex work in our community might think about it. Sunny's Patreon: @sunnywittledays Chad's PocketStars: @chadsexington0490 **NOTE - This episode contains discussion about eating, exercise and body image**
It's hard to believe after fourteen months of quarantine, but *events are starting up again!* They will start small and grow over time as folks get vaccinated... so what better time than now to talk about how to prepare for the munches, meetups and events of the future? In this week's episode we take a break from our Maker's series to answer two similar questions about how to introduce the idea of going to an event to a partner. Our wonderful guest, TB, shares with us his experience and offers sage advice on that critical conversation.
We have talked to writers and artists, performers and diaper-makers... but what if you are a tech person? How can you get involved by making something for the community? In this episode, we welcome back Mako (FL) to the podcast to talk about his process of building a web app, Weminder, specifically for the ABDL community. He brings his thoughtful advice to those with a tech bent or a big idea about how to make an app for ABDLs. As bonus content, I'm pretty sure you can also hear rnt's crinkles throughout, so that's something.
Spring is in the air, the tulips are blooming and many of us are walking around with goose-eggs on our arms from COVID vaccines. That means it is almost time to emerge from our quarantine huts and begin to see actual other human beings socially again! This season's question round-up is focused on how to meet other ABDL folk without blowing your cover and potentially screwing things up with your family, your job, etc. We tackle three similar questions at once and share some tips from our own experience meeting others over the years. Stay tuned until the very end, as we are also celebrating our 75th episode with a Makers' Challenge! (Makers like people who make things, not the whiskey. Though if you would like to send that, that's OK too). Here's to Spring!
Makers come in many forms, and one form is the ABDL Fiction Author. Pepper North has sold dozens of books to hundreds and hundreds of ABDL listeners over the past half-decade, and has made a remarkable splash in the ABDL community in her four short years of publishing. This interview is about how she got involved in four short years, going from ABDL-curious to published author to full-time-job . Want to get a free Pepper North sample? Go to https://BookHip.com/NXFHDF to get a sample of her work!
This week RY gets excited about a new series focused on how people get involved by *making something.* We're kicking off with one of the amazing innovations in the community during COVID - Isolation Storytime. We join Iso Storytime host Tibby (on behalf of her and fellow creator Merff) to talk about how it grew from a one-time event to an incredible mutual aid event that happens every Friday night. And stay tuned for the end, where Tibby shares the big news about the BIG prizes coming on their March 19 1-year anniversary of Isolation Storytime! @IsoStorytime on Twitter and IG
** Note: This episode includes a frank discussion about depression and mental health, and may impact those sensitive to depression** Depression typically affects about 15% of Americans, and conservatively about 8-10% of the global population... and since COVID depression has skyrocketed. Every person's experience has its own symptoms and challenges, and kink like ABDL can be both a sooting relief and an exacerbation. This week we talk to one of our ABDL friends, DiapersAndBrews (FL, IG) about his experience with depression and the overlap with his ABDL kink. ----- If you or someone you love is struggling with acute depression and dealing with thoughts of suicide, please call the free and confidential National Suicide Hotline: 1-(800) 273-8255 Se habla EspaƱol
Another amazing diaper brand hits the market, for the community by the community. Here is our interview with the gents from Ageplay Outfitters, creators of the new Seaside Princess diaper. To learn more, look for @ageplay.outfitters on IG and Twitter, and to look at the dips head to myinnerbaby.com
OK, so RY was in rare form. Which is why rnt decided this would be exactly the right time to handle a handful of back-log questions we needed to get to. OK, say what you will, but sometimes whiskey is inspiration. The point is - just listen, and decide if you think RY and rnt's advice is great or nonsense. The point is - we love you, not in spite of your fetish but in light of it.
It's one of our favorite annual traditions: bringing together voices from all over the ABDL community to ring in a new year by celebrating all that makes our kink awesome! A HUGE thanks to everybody who contributed their voices and thoughts; we hope this brings some light and joy as we take the first steps into 2021. Good riddance, 2020, but we hope this helps shed a little retrospective light in the darkness. :)
Hello everyone, and Happy ThisStupidYearIsAlmostOverMas! I think we can all agree we are ready to move on to 2021... but it hasn't necessarily been *all* bad, so we thought it was time to reflect on the positive for a moment. We would LOVE for you to take part in our annual tradition by sending us a
We're not gonna hide it, we love Northshore. They have done wonderful things for us and the community, particularly when it comes to innovation and diapers, and respectful integration between the medical and ABDL communities. Here is our first interview (perhaps of more?) with Adam Greenberg, the founder and CEO of Northshore Care Supply. Bring your questions, but we tackled a few here with gusto!
Remember last week when we talked to Mr. and Mrs. Padded (@Paddedtogether on IG) about what it's like being a person with an ABDL kink and having a partner who is Vanilla? You don't? Well GO LISTEN TO IT! But then come back and listen to this one, because we are going to lightning-round a handful of questions together, and solve all of your problems. Well, not all of them. Just those few. But that's something.
So, we woke up to some good news from the ABDL world this morning about one of our favorite diapers evaaaarrrrr, and we wanted to share it with you!
We get a lot of questions about what to do when you are a person with an ABDL kink who is dating / married to a non-kinky person. Since neither of us *is* married to a 'Nilla, we thought it best to bring in some experts... a wonderful ABDL + Nilla married couple, @paddedtogether (IG). This is part 1 where we learn about their relationship and get some really straightforward advice about how to find, engage, and work together with that Nilla partner to meet each others' needs.
Didn't get enough of our Omorashi episode 1? Well, we can't blame you, it kind of stopped right in the middle there. But no fear, the rest of the interview is here! Enjoy discussion about how to reconcile Omo with real incontinence issues, how to enjoy Omo in a community, and much more!
We just couldn't hold it in anymore... it's Part 1 of our two-parter on Omorashi! After weeks of absence over the Summer we are practically bursting to get this discussion out to you... let the topic wash over you, warm and spreading, just make sure to mop up when you're done. (If you haven't figured it out, omorashi is a wetting and desperation fetish) Enjoy!
We join our friends BabyMisty (FL) and Zorro (IG/FL) to discuss what it's like to be over the age of 40 and a part of the ABDL community. REMINDER: This podcast is not for people under the age of 18. On this episode, we tackle some of the harder parts of being over the age of 35 and part of the ABDL community; we hope you connect with what it's like to consider aging as part of your ABDL experience! :)
