The most rented video of 1991 came out the year previous in cinemas and is this week's pick for Dave. "Ghost" (1990) was a collaborative effort that blended romance, supernatural elements, and drama to create a timeless film. Directed by Jerry Zucker, known primarily for his work in comedy, the film marked a significant shift in his career. The screenplay, written by Bruce Joel Rubin, provided a compelling narrative that combined love and mystery, which attracted a strong cast including Patrick Swayze, Demi Moore, and Whoopi Goldberg. Swayze played Sam Wheat, a banker who is murdered and becomes a ghost, while Moore portrayed his grieving girlfriend, Molly Jensen. Goldberg's role as Oda Mae Brown, a psychic who helps Sam communicate with Molly, brought both comedic relief and emotional depth to the film. Her performance was particularly notable, earning her an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. Filming took place in various locations around New York City, capturing the vibrant and sometimes eerie backdrop that added to the film's atmospheric tension. The production faced challenges, particularly in creating believable special effects for the ghostly sequences. The use of then-state-of-the-art visual effects, combined with practical effects and creative cinematography by Adam Greenberg, helped bring the supernatural elements to life. The iconic scene featuring the Righteous Brothers' song "Unchained Melody" during a pottery-making session between Swayze and Moore became one of the most memorable moments in cinematic history. "Ghost" was released to critical and commercial success, grossing over $500 million worldwide and becoming the highest-grossing film of 1990. Its unique blend of genres and strong performances have ensured its lasting legacy. As Sam grapples with his newfound ethereal existence, he uncovers a nefarious plot behind his untimely demise. With the unlikely assistance of the vivacious and reluctant psychic, Oda Mae Brown, Sam endeavors to protect Molly from impending peril. thevhsstrikesback@gmail.com https://linktr.ee/vhsstrikesback --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/thevhsstrikesback/support
Welcome back to Born to Watch, where we dive deep into the movies that have shaped our lives and the world of cinema. This week, we continue our Demi Moore Double Shot with a look at the 1990 supernatural romantic thriller, "Ghost." Directed by Jerry Zucker, "Ghost" has left an indelible mark on pop culture and remains a beloved classic. So, let's delve into the elements that make this film so unforgettable.Cinematography and Visuals"Ghost" is a visually stunning film that masterfully blends the ethereal with the everyday. The cinematography by Adam Greenberg captures the stark contrast between the vibrant life of New York City and the eerie, spectral world that Sam Wheat (Patrick Swayze) finds himself in after his untimely death. The film's lighting is particularly noteworthy; the scenes involving the ghosts are often bathed in a soft, otherworldly glow that enhances the supernatural elements without overwhelming the viewer. One of the most iconic visual sequences is the pottery wheel scene. The intimate, tactile nature of pottery-making, coupled with Sam's ghostly presence, creates a hauntingly beautiful moment that has been parodied and referenced countless times in popular culture. The use of practical effects, especially the translucent, glowing appearances of the ghosts, still holds up remarkably well and adds to the film's charm.Storytelling and Themes"Ghost" is a love story at its core, but it transcends the boundaries of life and death. The screenplay by Bruce Joel Rubin perfectly blends romance, suspense, and supernatural elements. The narrative follows Sam Wheat, a banker who is murdered and becomes a ghost, unable to move on because of his deep love for his girlfriend, Molly Jensen (Demi Moore), and his need to protect her from danger. The film expertly weaves together themes of love, loss, and justice. Sam's journey from shock and confusion to acceptance and action is compelling, and his undying love for Molly is the emotional anchor of the story. The subplot involving Carl Bruner (Tony Goldwyn), Sam's treacherous friend, adds a layer of suspense and betrayal that keeps the audience on edge. One of the film's most profound themes is the idea of unfinished business and the quest for closure. Sam's interactions with other spirits, particularly the subway ghost (Vincent Schiavelli), highlight how people handle their unresolved issues. The film's resolution, with Sam finding peace and saying a final goodbye to Molly, is both heart-wrenching and uplifting.Character Development and PerformancesThe performances in "Ghost" are nothing short of stellar. Patrick Swayze delivers one of his best performances as Sam Wheat, capturing the character's desperation, determination, and undying love. Swayze's chemistry with Demi Moore is palpable, making their on-screen relationship believable and deeply moving.Demi Moore shines as Molly Jensen, bringing a perfect blend of vulnerability and strength to the role. Her portrayal of grief is raw and realistic, and her gradual acceptance of Sam's presence is beautifully handled. Moore's performance ensures that Molly is not just a damsel in distress but a fully realised character who finds her strength through her love for Sam.However, Whoopi Goldberg's performance as Oda Mae Brown steals the show. As a fraudulent psychic who suddenly finds herself genuinely communicating with the dead, Goldberg brings much-needed comic relief and heart to the film. Her scenes with Swayze are some of the film's highlights, and her transformation from a con artist to a true medium is humorous and touching. Goldberg's performance earned her an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress, a testament to her outstanding work in the film.Historical and Cultural SignificanceUpon its release, "Ghost" was a box office phenomenon, grossing over $505 million worldwide and becoming the highest-grossing film of 1990. Its success was a testament not only to its compelling story and strong performances but also to its universal themes of love and loss, which resonated with audiences around the world. The film's impact on popular culture is undeniable. The pottery scene set to The Righteous Brothers' "Unchained Melody" has become one of the most iconic moments in cinematic history. The film also brought the supernatural romance genre into the mainstream, paving the way for future films that explore similar themes."Ghost" also significantly influenced the portrayal of psychics and the afterlife in media. Whoopi Goldberg's Oda Mae Brown became a cultural icon, and the film's depiction of the afterlife as a place where spirits linger until they find peace has been echoed in subsequent films and TV shows.Relevance to Pop CultureEven decades after its release, "Ghost" holds a special place in pop culture. The film is often referenced and parodied, from sitcoms like "Friends" to movies like "Scary Movie 2." Its themes of undying love and the afterlife remain relevant, and its influence can be seen in a wide range of romantic and supernatural films that followed. The film's legacy is also evident in its adaptations. "Ghost: The Musical," premiered in 2011, brought the story to the stage with new songs and a fresh take on the beloved classic. The musical has enjoyed success in both the West End and Broadway, further cementing "Ghost's" enduring appeal."Ghost" is a timeless classic that masterfully combines romance, suspense, and supernatural elements into a compelling and emotionally resonant story. The film's strong performances, particularly by Patrick Swayze, Demi Moore, and Whoopi Goldberg, its stunning visuals, and its universal themes of love and loss have ensured its place in the pantheon of great films. As we continue our Demi Moore Double Shot on Born to Watch, "Ghost" is a perfect example of why Moore remains an enduring and beloved figure in Hollywood. Her performance and the film's lasting impact make "Ghost" a must-watch for any cinema fan. So, grab some tissues, sit back, and let yourself be swept away by this hauntingly beautiful tale of love that transcends time. Please follow the Podcast and join our community at https://linktr.ee/borntowatchpodcasthttps://www.borntowatch.com.au/

It's an above average & satisfyingly self-aware film that represents the waning impact of a once-dependable action formula. We discuss the film's gleeful subversions of action movie tropes and the ways it challenges Arnold's well-cultivated action hero status, the star's late-90s twilight years before his next era as a politiician, and the seemingly long-abandoned notion of vertically integrated tie-in materials for big studio releases. In this episode, Aaron and I are joined by former MLB player, author, motivational speaker, and entrepreneur Adam Greenberg. Adam embodies the word perseverance. After dedicating and sacrificing most of his life to the game of baseball, Adam reached the pinnacle of his athletic career and was called up to play for the Chicago Cubs in the MLB. Adam's very first pitch in his MLB debut saw him receive a 91 mile-an-hour fastball to the back of the head, changing his life forever. He is one of two players in history to have an at bat without ever taking the field. After 7 years of consistent grind and hustle, Adam clawed his way back to the major league and signed a one-day contract with the Miami Marlins so he could have another chance in the batter's box. Adam views that pitch to the head as a gift. In one of the worst but also greatest moments of his life, his injury and experience forged him into the leader and man he is today. When asked he says he wouldn't do it over any other way.Adam owns several businesses, is a motivational speaker and is the author of the book "Get Up: The Art of Perseverance". We've witnessed an incredible amount of transformation in the last 2 years. Now, transformation can happen by choice, or it can be forced upon us by situations that are simply out of our control… And a large part of what we lived through would fall in the latter category. It's Rock N' Roll week on Fabulous Film & Friends, and we're going to bop our way through the 1987 Lou Diamond Phillips starring Luis Valdez directed low budget sleeper hit La Bamba! My guest is Cinematographer and Camera guru Vance Piper returning once again after his riveting first podcast on Triple FFF where we talked about the making of The Terminator. La Bamba, like the Terminator, was another Adam Greenberg lensed production and Vance served as his 1st Assistant Camera. Before we hit the dance floor, The synopsis:La Bamba is the story of the meteoric rise and tragic fall of Chicano rock n' roll sensation Ritchie Valens, whose life and career was cut short when the plane carrying him, Buddy Holly and The Big Bopper JP Richardson crashed near Clear Lake Iowa, the site of their last concert, an event known as The Day The Music Died. It should be noted that this podcast discussion marks the first time I've watched the movie, and while it's not a candidate for “Face Your Fears” it's in another category called “I DON'T WATCH BIOPICS.” Biopics for me are like horror movies, they are not a genre that I seek out, especially with figures from the age of historical film archives and media. Biopics often seem to me like SNL sketches with actors in cheap and garish make up and party costumes, which begs the question “Why even bother?” We've got endless amounts of video and film footage of most important figures from the 20th Century onward. I don't need an actor or director's dramatization. I can can watch a well-crafted documentary. And in the case of an Ali or a Walk the Line, where as good and charismatic as Will Smith is, he's but a drop of spittle compared to the real Muhammed Ali. As good as Joaquin Phoenix is as an actor and he's a freakin' powerhouse, he still seemed like Alden Ehrenreich dressing up as Han Solo for Halloween when it came to filling Johnny Cash's enormous shoes. But La Bamba has more up its sleeve than just biopic tropes.
Today, I want to change things up and shine a light on the people and the technologies that have been helping businesses adapt to the disruption we've faced in the last 23 months. And there's been a lot of disruption hasn't there? Vaccine mandates, remote working, labour shortages, changing workforce policies and the list goes on. But through it all companies like AllianceHCM and people like my guest today, AllianceHCM's President, Matt Umholtz are working diligently to make sure your business has the tools, resources, and services to keep moving forward. I think it's time to shed a light on how invisible functions like payroll and scheduling are not only enabling the future of work but leading the way. It's time to bring the back office out on center stage. Are you ready for this shift? Let's go. Connect: Look for @makeshiftapp and follow us on Li, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. This week was a great week back in 1987. Two very well-received and wholesome comedies were released on the same day. One of them is the classic road trip film Planes, Trains and Automobiles. The other is Three Men and a Baby, an all-star adventure in parenthood and crime. We let them battle it out to see which is the best! 0:07:40 - Three Men and a Baby review 0:19:20 - Planes, Trains and Automobiles review 0:30:18 - Bonus Battle segment Join the Bad Porridge Club on Patreon for TWO bonus episodes each month! https://www.patreon.com/oldiebutagoodiepod Follow the show! Our guest is Adam Greenberg, one of the co-founders and CMO of ONE BONE, a size inclusive brand for the hard-to-fit man. He's a morning show radio host on Virgin Radio in Montreal, Canada, and he used to tour as an MC (TB1) in an EDM DJ duo (1DAFUL). Aside from medical care, individuals that suffer from incontinence also struggle with an array of other issues that compound their condition. Addressing these sub-factors is key to empowering patients to tackle the condition to the best of their abilities. In Part 2 of this episode of "Attached to Hygiene," host Jack Hughes continues speaking with NorthShore Care Supplies Director of Marketing and Communications, Vicki Wolpoff, and NorthShore Owner and Founder, Adam Greenberg to discuss the secondary struggles that come with incontinence, the benefits of incorporating fashion and variety into adult care products, and how fundamental education is in ending the confusion around incontinence. Why You Don't Want to Confuse Your MarketOne of the many factors that hinder individuals suffering from incontinence is confusion. When patients don't understand the terms that appear in the materials they're reading, they tend to get discouraged. The reason is, when someone faces a condition they're shy about, the last thing they want to do is attract attention. As much as possible, they'll try to understand things on their own, but if they fail, they could give up. This is why it's critical for adult care products to be accessible, especially to the senior market. If the information in the packaging is too exclusive, people choosing from the options available on the shelves won't benefit. What's worse, some packaging may even prove to be counterproductive. For NorthShore, this becomes an opportunity to lead with designs that informs and educates. They provide educational materials to their consumers through packaging, blogs, and their company website for every step in the purchasing process.Outline of the Episode[02:01] What people with incontinence seek the most[03:43] Aside from the primary needs, what are the other factors that patients struggle with?[06:31] The need for more education about incontinence[09:07] Confusion hinders people from getting to know the products they need.[12:48] About NorthShore's most-read article: "Why shouldn't you double up?"[15:44] The effects of incorporating fashion into adult care products[18:53] COVID elevated everyone, including the elderly.[22:30] With sustainability comes innovation.[24:11] The medical-looking packages need to go![26:38] Flexibility differs when designing products for the lightly affected to the heavily affected patients.ResourcesYou can find Adam Greenberg and Vicki Wolpoff on LinkedIn, or you can leave them a message through our email at hygiene@bostik.com.Also, follow NorthShore on the following links below:WebsiteLinkedInFacebookInstagramTwitterYouTubeGet Connected with Attached to HygieneConnect with Jack Hughes on LinkedIn. To deal with medical conditions efficiently, we need to understand their causes, effects, and who they are affecting. Most importantly, we must also break down the stigma that comes with them. If there's stigma, having the right conversation can be challenging, let alone finding the proper approach. In Part 1 of this episode of "Attached to Hygiene," host Jack Hughes is joined by Bostik's Global Marketing Director, Diane Toonen, NorthShore Care Supplies' Director of Marketing and Communications, Vicki Wolpoff, and NorthShore Owner and Founder, Adam Greenberg to give us an intro to incontinence and how it is affecting people in the US.Incontinence: Why is it an interesting case?Incontinence, when broadly explained, is the inability to voluntarily control urination and defecation. Generally, it is a medical condition that people exclusively associate with old age – only that it's not. Statistics show a wide range of demographics struggle with incontinence. It doesn't only affect the aging. In the US alone, 80 million people deal with some form of incontinence. In this 80 million, 1/3 are under 30, an age bracket that is most certainly considered young. Statistics also show that 1 in 4 adults struggle with bladder dysfunction, and 8% of the population face incontinence with bowel. Aside from the astounding numbers, what's even more interesting is how behind the US is when it comes to the issue. One factor that affects the current approach to the dilemma is stigma. Stigma contributes to the study that found those with the heaviest loss of bowel control are the ones who are also most likely not to seek medical care. The more impact the condition creates, the more likely the affected individual is to hide away from any sort of attention.Outline of the Episode[03:07] The Founder of NorthShore, Adam Greenberg's personal experience with incontinence.[05:12] Incontinence is a complex market segment.[07:22] NorthShore's multi-year approach to familiarizing themselves with struggles from incontinence.[11:16] People want to be normal in three different ways.[14:01] Breaking down Incontinence, its effects, who it affects, and where it comes from.[17:58] 80 million people are managing different levels of incontinence.[21:33] On whom does NorthShore focus the most?[23:53] The leading reason why eldery people go into nursing homes.[26:34] How did COVID affect assisted living facilities, and where does NorthShore come in?[29:44] Work and wastes can be lessened!ResourcesYou can find Adam Greenberg, Diane Toonen, and Vicki Wolpoff on LinkedIn, or you can leave them a message through our email at hygiene@bostik.com.Also, follow NorthShore on the following links below:WebsiteLinkedInFacebookInstagramTwitterYouTubeIf you'd like to learn more about the Incontinence – The Engineering Challenge Conference you can click the link below.https://events.imeche.org/ViewEvent?code=CON7265Get Connected with Attached to HygieneConnect with Jack Hughes on LinkedIn. On this episode of SYPW, Chef Pat talks to Chef Adam Greenberg about his career with Barcelona and Bartaco and making it in the culinary world.
In this first episode, we're going back to the beginning when Marc and Slash become friends in elementary school and bond over their love of Aerosmith and dirt bikes. Slash invited Marc to a rehearsal of his new band Tidus Sloan in 1981 and with Marc's camera in hand, the journey of the First 50 Gigs began. Also on the episode, we have Adam Greenberg, one of the founding members of Tidus Sloan and Roadcrew. In this episode you'll: • Hear the first-ever live recordings of Slash playing guitar • Find out what drove Marc Canter to document his friend • Hear how Adam Greenberg formed Tidus Sloan and Roadcrew, but then was replaced by a future member of the Appetite lineup of GNR. Today we're going to talk about resilience. We as people, as businesses, as societies, and as countries have demonstrated a great deal of resilience over the last 22 months, even when it felt like we were up schitt's creek… we managed to continue to move forward, together. As CEO of MakeShift, a web and mobile cloud-based employee scheduling app, I have witnessed this firsthand. I am incredibly proud of how the MakeShift team stepped up to help businesses like Alberta Health Services, La Senza, Best Western, Air France, and many more improve their employee scheduling experience during the pandemic to help our essential workers on the frontlines. I am a big believer in the idea that companies that give their employees the flexibility to work schedules that fit their lives improve employee morale and make work fun. But, how else can we make work more fun? As businesses face a massive labour shortage and a worsening war for talent, how do businesses create a culture that improves recruitment and retention and can stand up to these new challenges? My last guest, retired Navy Seal Commander and best-selling author of the Attributes, Rich Diviney, gave me the answer I was looking for. Do you know how the Navy Seals bond and build an everlasting culture of trust and camaraderie? They do it with humour. Yes, the Navy Seals get through some of the toughest challenges anyone could ever face with a dash of humour. Now, humour in the workplace is tricky. And anyone that knows me, knows I am no expert. So, I decided to find someone who is… Today, I am incredibly excited to welcome Emmy Award-winning writer and producer of the very popular Canadian show Schitt's Creek, Michael Short on my podcast. The world is going through a monumental change and every single day a new headline points us to a new challenge we need to overcome. As an optimist. I believe in the collective power of people working together as a team to solve the problems facing our businesses, our communities, and our global societies. But, sometimes we need someone to look to. Someone to guide us. Someone who understands what it means to operate in the most difficult and challenging of environments and to come out the other side as proof that it can be done. Today, I couldn't be more excited to welcome that someone – https://theattributes.com/author/ (Rich Diviney )as my guest. Rich is a former Navy Seal Commander. When I look for an example of a team, this is the kind of team that always comes to mind. The kind of teams that have to operate together based on trust and optimal performance because it could literally mean the difference between life or death - or perhaps even worse than death. Rich completed more than twenty overseas deployments – 11 of which were to Iraq and Afghanistan. He guided specialized operational teams to train their brains to perform faster, longer and better in all environments. Since his retirement a few years ago he has trained over 5000 businesses, athletic and military leaders from the world's best-known organizations. Rich is also the author of the book https://theattributes.com/author/ (‘The Attributes' )which does an excellent job of helping his readers understand what makes people tick so to speak and how to uncover these attributes in all of us, whether it's sports, business, health and science, government or even your everyday relationships. More recently, Rich helped kick off https://www.makeshift.ca/ (MakeShift's) first all-company meeting in Calgary! It was an incredible experience and our team learned so much. On a personal note, and in full transparency, Rich is going to be joining me and the https://www.leaders2inspire.com/ (Leaders2Inspire) team in Mexico in November to facilitate optimal performance workshops for participants at the Leaders2inspire retreat. But today, Rich is here to help us all maximize our potential. Are you ready to Make the Shift? Let's go! About Rich Diviney: Rich draws upon 20+ years of experience as a Navy SEAL Officer where he completed more than 13 overseas deployments – 11 of which were to Iraq and Afghanistan. Through his career, he has achieved multiple leadership positions – to include the Commanding Officer of a Navy SEAL Command. Since retirement in early 2017, Rich has worked as a speaker, facilitator, and consultant with the https://www.ccoleadership.com/team/rich-diviney/ (Chapman & Co. Corporations are facing a measurable mind shift. A movement. One that is generating a massive flood of resignations as employees demand more from their workplaces. Expectations are growing around the role business plays in social and environmental issues. It's no longer simply about a paycheck. It's about fulfillment and feeling like you are making a difference in the world. Imagine a world where corporations are a force for good. Where businesses play a critical role in creating purpose for their workforce, in improving lives, and driving lasting change. Where people feel inspired to learn, to help, to grow. A world that puts PeopleFirstTM. Join Adam Greenberg and guest Stephen Shedletzky as they discuss the immense opportunity corporations have to lead a transformation in our global society. About Stephen Shedletzky: Stephen imagines a world where the vast majority of people wake up inspired, feel safe wherever they are, and end the day fulfilled by the work they do. He believes leaders are the ones who can best advance this vision, so he helps to guide and support leaders who intend to put their people and purpose first. Feeling stifled on his own corporate track, he was struck by Simon Sinek's message. Stephen was the fourth person to join Sinek's team in 2011 to co-host the Start With Why podcast and answer fan email. Over the years, he has taken on the roles of Chief of Staff, Lead Igniter & Head of Brand Experience, Training & Development. He has led a global team of speakers and facilitators, helping to ensure the team's culture, products, partnerships, and communications authentically reflect the organization's most deeply held values and beliefs. Stephen has also led hundreds of his own keynote presentations, workshops and team, and leadership development programs. With the right mix of passion, experience, and professionalism, Stephen narrated the audiobook for the 2017 best-seller Find Your Why. He also co-hosted & produced the Start With Why Podcast, with over 900,000 downloads in more than 180 countries. “Rising consumer demand is accelerating the growth of the greenhouse industry, but the massive shortage of both growers and manual labor requires a scalable machine vision solution to further produce supply. Having a renowned agronomy team, like CropWalk, to assist in deploying state-of-the-art technology like LUNA will have a profound impact on our constantly improving capacity to help growers increase quality, yields, and profits. 65% of growers are above the age of 55, and the shortage of qualified people is hitting the fast growing industry hard. Something has to give, thus the future is centralized management of distributed facilities." - Adam Greenberg, Co-Founder and CEO of iUNU The future of crop care in modern greenhouses that will feed families for generations involves both people's expertise and the best available technologies. The union of iUNU and CropWalk is great news for CEA crop producers seeking the advantage of cutting edge artificial intelligence, computer vision, and machine learning coupled with industry-leading IPM & biological services. iUNU's acquisition of CropWalk helps both companies become more effective in their work towards an important common goal: reducing the cost of nutrient-rich food reaching urban centers while helping growers thrive. In this episode of CropTalk, Charlie and Adam Greenberg discuss what all this means for growers we serve, the industry and the retail consumers that purchase the products our industry produces. Until next time, #startcleanstayclean

Sometime back in 2008, Vinny Barrucco made the call to (then) Mix 96 to see if his skills acquired at community juggernaut K103 Kanesatake would translate into the Montreal mainstream. We know today that that answer is yes. The Montreal morning host has done most of the day parts on Montreal radio at the two of the biggest English FM's in the city, Virgin Radio and 92.5 The Beat. Today, he is a host on the former along with Shannon King and Adam Greenberg. In this episode, you will hear how Vinny nearly left Montreal on a few occasions, only to have circumstance keep home in his hometown. We also took the time to share our passion and love for Montreal and everything it has offer. Apologies if it gets a little inside with words such as "Dep", "Habs", "Bill 101", "Anglo", "Franco" and an in-depth discussion about how the Quebec star-system towers over Canada's. No apologies offered for the three or four times we randomly started talking about the Montreal Canadiens. (Bruins and Leafs fans might want to skip over this episode and listen in July)I had the chance to meet Vinny in 2019 where we chatted about the world of podcast and I really love how he started one with his wife Tina called, "Marriage in the Fast Lane", documenting their transition from single, to newlyweds, to parents. Thanks also to the people who make this show possible every week including:PromosuiteJustin Dove at Core Image StudiosMegatrax

Rick and Dave chat with former Chicago Cub Adam Greenberg [Ep63] The post MM Celebrity Interview – Former Chicago Cub, Adam Greenberg appeared first on Radio Misfits.
Aaron Heck is President and founder of HeckArt Studios, a premiere feature film production company and branding agency based in Los Angeles, California. Heck produced his first feature film, Cheyenne, at age 23. He then put his talents to work in the advertising industry and built a number of strong brands, with particular successes in the competitive world of wine and spirits. Since founding HeckArt Studios in 1996, Heck has grown the company into an innovative and multi-award-winning agency, which specializes in brand ascension. From 1996 to 2001, Heck was also Director of Advertising and Promotions at F. Korbel and Bros., Inc., the largest and oldest producer of Méthode Champagne in the United States. In 2001, he was promoted to VP of Advertising, and oversaw Korbel Champagne, Korbel Brandy, Kenwood, Valley of the Moon and Lake Sonoma wineries, and launched the King's Ransom, Madrone and Pinafarina wine brands. In 2008, Heck left F. Korbel and Bros. to focus on exclusively on HeckArt Studios. Over the preceding decade, Heck had established himself as an accomplished and in-demand still photographer and commercial director. His work in product and fashion photography and advertising led him back to feature film production and into cinematography. As a cinematographer, Heck sought out master directors of photography known for their skilled visual storytelling, and mentored under the likes of Gabriel Beristain, Adam Greenberg, and Vilmos Zsigmund, attaining his Master Class diploma in Budpest. HeckArt Studios is now a fully integrated production company, capable of taking any project, commercial, music video, or feature film through the creative development process, from initial concept all the way through to final delivery, including online color, and visual effects. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/the-exotic-car-podcast/support
