MensFamilyLaw is the podcast for fathers and husbands who need information on child custody, divorce, domestic violence and parenting plans.
This comes from a column I write in the Santa Monica Daily Press. It's a short episode, but I get real and raw about my own father, his problems, our family issues, and the value of a dad in a child's life.
This week I spoke with multiple New York Times best selling author Stephen Mansfield about his latest book, Men on Fire - Restoring the Forces that Forge Noble Manhood. Men in today's society often find themselves isolated and alone after a divorce or breakup and need to restore their social support network and self-esteem. It's crucial for them to set an example for their children, especially so if they are fighting for more parenting time in family court.
In this episode I answer a question that came from Facebook from a dad about how his ex was using his learning disability of dyslexia as a wedge with their children. She was telling the kids he was stupid, which made him concerned he'd lose his kids in court. Learn how we deal with that in the Dad's Action Pack.
In this episode I speak with Sylvio La Valle, he founded the Father's Rights group on Facebook and it's grown to serve men and women across the globe. We chat about how a father can increase his custodial time share, and work through the emotions of a custody case. The group is on Facebook at www.facebook.com/groups/forfuturessake If you're looking to increase your parenting time and need to represent yourself in court as a Pro Se (In Pro Per) litigant, don't forget to check out the Dad's ACTION Pack at www.mensfamilylawcenter.com/actionpack
Today I spoke with CRAIG PERRA from TheMindfulHabit.com. He's helping men who have sex addiction and porn viewing habits recover their lives and control their sexuality in healthy ways.
In this episode I chat with Mark Santiago of www.empoweredman.co about what go through emotionally in a divorce/ child custody battle. He shares his story of what he faced, and how he's now turned that into a way to help the over 2,000,000 men each year that are facing the same hell. I also discuss my new product to help dads who are fighting for custody. It's called the Dad's ACTION Pack, and it's designed to help you discover and then explain to the judge why you're a "Great Dad". Check it out at www.mensfamilylawcenter.com/actionpack
If you're facing a court hearing, whether it's a divorce or a child custody case, you need to be prepared to speak to a judge. In this episode I share the two reasons people hire lawyers, and share some tips on how to prepare if you're going to be self-represented.
In today's episode some guidance for those people who are looking to represent themselves in court, but still need to meet with a lawyer to get some feedback and direction. How to maximize the time, and avoid the "fluff" that lawyers, honestly, don't care about. PLUS, the book that everyone who is going to represent themselves in any negotiation should read.
If you've just been served with a Domestic Violence Restraining Order (DVRO) and/or Divorce Petition - this is the episode you need to listen to IMMEDIATELY!
It's the end of 2020, and this horrible year is coming to an end with many couples thinking about calling it quits next year. If that is you, this episode will give you a place to start your preparation. You can also download the Divorce Guide For Men at www.mensfamilylawcenter.com/divorce-guide-for-men
