How does our understanding of sin affect us in our daily lives?

Sin is a violation of God's law that breaks our relationship with Him and corrupts our whole nature.

God made you in His image, and that gives you and others worth and dignity.

The doctrine of creation calls us to recognize our need for others and their need for us, and it calls us to seek to use God's creation in a way that takes others into account.

The doctrine of creation leads us to recognize that creation belongs to God and ought to lead us to use it for His glory and His purposes.

Creation is God's making all things of nothing for His own glory and possession.

The local session, composed of the pastors and ruling elders, oversees the local care and discipline of the congregation, as well as the worship and ministry of the word.

Presbyterianism is the biblical form of government where the church is ruled by elders in accountability to surrounding churches.

God's omnipotence means that He is not limited in His strength to do anything that He wants to do.
