Amos 1–5 Amos 1–5 (Listen) 1 The words of Amos, who was among the shepherds1 of Tekoa, which he saw concerning Israel in the days of Uzziah king of Judah and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash, king of Israel, two years2 before the earthquake. Judgment on Israel's Neighbors 2 And he said:   “The LORD roars from Zion    and utters his voice from Jerusalem;  the pastures of the shepherds mourn,    and the top of Carmel withers.” 3 Thus says the LORD:   “For three transgressions of Damascus,    and for four, I will not revoke the punishment,3  because they have threshed Gilead    with threshing sledges of iron.4   So I will send a fire upon the house of Hazael,    and it shall devour the strongholds of Ben-hadad.5   I will break the gate-bar of Damascus,    and cut off the inhabitants from the Valley of Aven,4  and him who holds the scepter from Beth-eden;    and the people of Syria shall go into exile to Kir,”      says the LORD. 6 Thus says the LORD:   “For three transgressions of Gaza,    and for four, I will not revoke the punishment,  because they carried into exile a whole people    to deliver them up to Edom.7   So I will send a fire upon the wall of Gaza,    and it shall devour her strongholds.8   I will cut off the inhabitants from Ashdod,    and him who holds the scepter from Ashkelon;  I will turn my hand against Ekron,    and the remnant of the Philistines shall perish,”      says the Lord GOD. 9 Thus says the LORD:   “For three transgressions of Tyre,    and for four, I will not revoke the punishment,  because they delivered up a whole people to Edom,    and did not remember the covenant of brotherhood.10   So I will send a fire upon the wall of Tyre,    and it shall devour her strongholds.” 11 Thus says the LORD:   “For three transgressions of Edom,    and for four, I will not revoke the punishment,  because he pursued his brother with the sword    and cast off all pity,  and his anger tore perpetually,    and he kept his wrath forever.12   So I will send a fire upon Teman,    and it shall devour the strongholds of Bozrah.” 13 Thus says the LORD:   “For three transgressions of the Ammonites,    and for four, I will not revoke the punishment,  because they have ripped open pregnant women in Gilead,    that they might enlarge their border.14   So I will kindle a fire in the wall of Rabbah,    and it shall devour her strongholds,  with shouting on the day of battle,    with a tempest in the day of the whirlwind;15   and their king shall go into exile,    he and his princes5 together,”      says the LORD. 2 Thus says the LORD:   “For three transgressions of Moab,    and for four, I will not revoke the punishment,6  because he burned to lime    the bones of the king of Edom.2   So I will send a fire upon Moab,    and it shall devour the strongholds of Kerioth,  and Moab shall die amid uproar,    amid shouting and the sound of the trumpet;3   I will cut off the ruler from its midst,    and will kill all its princes7 with him,”      says the LORD. Judgment on Judah 4 Thus says the LORD:   “For three transgressions of Judah,    and for four, I will not revoke the punishment,  because they have rejected the law of the LORD,    and have not kept his statutes,  but their lies have led them astray,    those after which their fathers walked.5   So I will send a fire upon Judah,    and it shall devour the strongholds of Jerusalem.” Judgment on Israel 6 Thus says the LORD:   “For three transgressions of Israel,    and for four, I will not revoke the punishment,  because they sell the righteous for silver,    and the needy for a pair of sandals—7   those who trample the head of the poor into the dust of the earth    and turn aside the way of the afflicted;  a man and his father go in to the same girl,    so that my holy name is profaned;8   they lay themselves down beside every altar    on garments taken in pledge,  and in the house of their God they drink    the wine of those who have been fined. 9   “Yet it was I who destroyed the Amorite before them,    whose height was like the height of the cedars    and who was as strong as the oaks;  I destroyed his fruit above    and his roots beneath.10   Also it was I who brought you up out of the land of Egypt    and led you forty years in the wilderness,    to possess the land of the Amorite.11   And I raised up some of your sons for prophets,    and some of your young men for Nazirites.    Is it not indeed so, O people of Israel?”      declares the LORD. 12   “But you made the Nazirites drink wine,    and commanded the prophets,    saying, ‘You shall not prophesy.' 13   “Behold, I will press you down in your place,    as a cart full of sheaves presses down.14   Flight shall perish from the swift,    and the strong shall not retain his strength,    nor shall the mighty save his life;15   he who handles the bow shall not stand,    and he who is swift of foot shall not save himself,    nor shall he who rides the horse save his life;16   and he who is stout of heart among the mighty    shall flee away naked in that day,”      declares the LORD. Israel's Guilt and Punishment 3 Hear this word that the LORD has spoken against you, O people of Israel, against the whole family that I brought up out of the land of Egypt: 2   “You only have I known    of all the families of the earth;  therefore I will punish you    for all your iniquities. 3   “Do two walk together,    unless they have agreed to meet?4   Does a lion roar in the forest,    when he has no prey?  Does a young lion cry out from his den,    if he has taken nothing?5   Does a bird fall in a snare on the earth,    when there is no trap for it?  Does a snare spring up from the ground,    when it has taken nothing?6   Is a trumpet blown in a city,    and the people are not afraid?  Does disaster come to a city,    unless the LORD has done it? 7   “For the Lord GOD does nothing    without revealing his secret    to his servants the prophets.8   The lion has roared;    who will not fear?  The Lord GOD has spoken;    who can but prophesy?” 9   Proclaim to the strongholds in Ashdod    and to the strongholds in the land of Egypt,  and say, “Assemble yourselves on the mountains of Samaria,    and see the great tumults within her,    and the oppressed in her midst.”10   “They do not know how to do right,” declares the LORD,    “those who store up violence and robbery in their strongholds.” 11 Therefore thus says the Lord GOD:   “An adversary shall surround the land    and bring down8 your defenses from you,    and your strongholds shall be plundered.” 12 Thus says the LORD: “As the shepherd rescues from the mouth of the lion two legs, or a piece of an ear, so shall the people of Israel who dwell in Samaria be rescued, with the corner of a couch and part9 of a bed. 13   “Hear, and testify against the house of Jacob,”    declares the Lord GOD, the God of hosts,14   “that on the day I punish Israel for his transgressions,    I will punish the altars of Bethel,  and the horns of the altar shall be cut off    and fall to the ground.15   I will strike the winter house along with the summer house,    and the houses of ivory shall perish,  and the great houses10 shall come to an end,”      declares the LORD. 4   “Hear this word, you cows of Bashan,    who are on the mountain of Samaria,  who oppress the poor, who crush the needy,    who say to your husbands, ‘Bring, that we may drink!'2   The Lord GOD has sworn by his holiness    that, behold, the days are coming upon you,  when they shall take you away with hooks,    even the last of you with fishhooks.3   And you shall go out through the breaches,    each one straight ahead;    and you shall be cast out into Harmon,”      declares the LORD. 4   “Come to Bethel, and transgress;    to Gilgal, and multiply transgression;  bring your sacrifices every morning,    your tithes every three days;5   offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving of that which is leavened,    and proclaim freewill offerings, publish them;    for so you love to do, O people of Israel!”      declares the Lord GOD. Israel Has Not Returned to the Lord 6   “I gave you cleanness of teeth in all your cities,    and lack of bread in all your places,  yet you did not return to me,”      declares the LORD. 7   “I also withheld the rain from you    when there were yet three months to the harvest;  I would send rain on one city,    and send no rain on another city;  one field would have rain,    and the field on which it did not rain would wither;8   so two or three cities would wander to another city    to drink water, and would not be satisfied;  yet you did not return to me,”      declares the LORD. 9   “I struck you with blight and mildew;    your many gardens and your vineyards,    your fig trees and your olive trees the locust devoured;  yet you did not return to me,”      declares the LORD. 10   “I sent among you a pestilence after the manner of Egypt;    I killed your young men with the sword,  and carried away your horses,11    and I made the stench of your camp go up into your nostrils;  yet you did not return to me,”      declares the LORD. 11   “I overthrew some of you,    as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah,    and you were as a brand12 plucked out of the burning;  yet you did not return to me,”      declares the LORD. 12   “Therefore thus I will do to you, O Israel;    because I will do this to you,    prepare to meet your God, O Israel!” 13   For behold, he who forms the mountains and creates the wind,    and declares to man what is his thought,  who makes the morning darkness,    and treads on the heights of the earth—    the LORD, the God of hosts, is his name! Seek the Lord and Live 5 Hear this word that I take up over you in lamentation, O house of Israel: 2   “Fallen, no more to rise,    is the virgin Israel;  forsaken on her land,    with none to raise her up.” 3 For thus says the Lord GOD:   “The city that went out a thousand    shall have a hundred left,  and that which went out a hundred    shall have ten left    to the house of Israel.” 4 For thus says the LORD to the house of Israel:   “Seek me and live;5     but do not seek Bethel,  and do not enter into Gilgal    or cross over to Beersheba;  for Gilgal shall surely go into exile,    and Bethel shall come to nothing.” 6   Seek the LORD and live,    lest he break out like fire in the house of Joseph,    and it devour, with none to quench it for Bethel,7   O you who turn justice to wormwood13    and cast down righteousness to the earth! 8   He who made the Pleiades and Orion,

Faction Cannot Prevail (12)  (audio)  David Eells - 9/6/23   I was told by the Lord to declass all that we know.  Some of these first few minutes might be borderline for teens and pre-teens so if you like they can leave the room. The Angels told us that in the future we would be speaking to one another in dangerous territory by the Spirit. Emails and texts and other physical forms of communication are hacked by governments and others and are dangerous. This is true if you are a Christian missionary among an unfavorable religious society. The Lord impressed me to practice this. I went to our head UBM angel Baruch and asked if we could talk this way. We did. So this morphed into total communication between us. This involved either spoken words or thoughts. All I had to do was address him by name and the angel and this would open a line of communication between us that was totally natural like you were sitting in the same room. This morphed into not even calling on the angel just speaking or thinking communication with the angels. I saw a vision of Eve with different colored hair and it was straight. Another had a dream of her looking the same way. I asked Eve if she looked like this and had an alias and she said, yes. This way she could work for Kevin, whom she was completely submissive to because of the demons he had put on her; Including witchcraft, voodoo, slander, lust, fornication, and adultery so she would do her job for them. You say, David why would you not cast these demons off of her. We have in the past but now the Lord is bringing her through this whole experience to humble her and to be an advocate for those taken advantage of by filthy satanists. The Spirit continued my education and experience regarding what seemed like natural communications. I asked Eve some questions that would have been dangerous for her to answer, which I will explain later. She answered them because the Spirit overruled her demons. I asked her “Are they farming you out to other men besides them.” She said yes, so I said how many?  She said she couldn't say.  But Baruch, who was standing by, interjected “with 12 men”.  She then said this was correct. I said in one week, no wonder you say you are tired. I asked are you doing this from your apartment?  She said, no, we have a building. I asked are the other girls also in that building?  Baruch said they have 14. She said, yes, but she could have no communication with them. To say the least, this sickened me that satanists all over the world are trafficking men, women, children and babies. I asked, are Kevin and Eddie making a lot of money off of you all.  She said, Yes. I said are your customers men of importance who would defend Kevin if he got caught trafficking women and she said some of them are. Are some cops, lawyers, judges, politicians, type people, she said she believes so but does not know their names. I thought, good, that is safer for her. Then I asked, are the rooms equipped with hidden cameras and sound recorders, She said, yes.  This is Epstein Island all over again and all over the world. They recorded the politicians, big business, judges, etc. and blackmailed them to take over the countries. I said, Lord if I declass this it will be dangerous for them. These men do not want to be known. I heard that we are so close to the end of this it won't make any difference.  I asked for 3 heads to confirm this and got them. Also Vanessa received from the Lord, “No weapon formed against Eve shall prosper.” I believe this is for the other elect women also. Just to let Kevin and Eddie and all the satanists know, be careful with these women, men, and their children you have captured because like Trump, “We have it all.”  Oh, you think not? These angels see and know everything and they are talking to more people than me. God was speaking to me so I said to Baruch, The problem is that these sinners are enjoying this too much to stop because of the demons they have received. Do you think ED and symptoms of disease would fix that? He said, yes, and he would take care of it. (They all would know there was just one common denominator to cause disease, Kevin and Eddie, since they insist on molesting them all.) (A few days before this, I asked God and did a test. I was talking to Eve and she said kind of frustrated, “something is wrong”.  I said, Is it ED?  She said how did you know that?) Shortly after Baruch released this larger judgment, Michael had crazy things happening to his computer and phone at the same time, so he rebuked it and it left. So we knew it was retaliation and we bound all retaliation against our body.  I think it is Mordecai and Esther's cancelling the Jews curse with their edict and putting it instead on Haman and his sons and people as we just studied. Seducer Preying On Young Women  Anna Stewart 9/1/23 (David's notes in red)   I had the following dream last night. I don't know if I'm representing other young women we know about who were stalked in the same way. I dreamt that I was a teenager in high school. The high school campus was at my childhood home. It seemed that I was 16 years old. (Predators, Sixteen is still an adolescent teen and not an adult.) There was a scene where I was on the roof of our old pump house, chipping away and scraping off years of accumulated gunk from the rooftop. (The rooftop represents covering and protection.) As I removed the blackened gunk (sins) I was surprised to find that there was honey underneath. (The Lord's cleansing process to bring restoration to their personal fountains of living water for Eve/the women. Through our prayers, we are “pumping” the Words of Life into Eve and the other captured women.) Pro 24:13 My son, eat thou honey, for it is good; And the droppings of the honeycomb,which are sweet to thy taste: Psa 119:103 How sweet are thy words unto my taste! Yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth! The scene changed back to the campus and Kevin was there and he was 35 in the dream. He seemed like a nice man. It seemed like he and I had known each other in the past. (Because we used to be in fellowship as brethren. Both she and her husband had dreams that Kevin molested her. He broke into their phone and emailed me from there.) He was very nice to me, and it seemed like he was in love with me. He was following me around but not pushing the issue of wanting to talk to me. I wasn't attracted to him, justattracted to the idea of him loving me. (The spirits of lust Kevin sent out use the emotions and make one “feel” like they “want” him but are deceptive. He had a spirit of seduction and acting.) But I had this subconscious feeling that something wasn't right; it was like I knew that a 35-year-old man pursuing a 16-year-old should be a huge red flag, (Being only 16 years of age is considered “below the age of consent for sexual contact.” Knowing the difference between right and wrong, having our senses exercised by the Word. Heb 5:14 But solid food is for fullgrown men, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern good and evil.) but I couldn't quite get my mind around the fact that he was just lusting after me—it was like I was blinded because of my desire to be loved. (The spirits of lust blind the young by using the emotions and desires for love and confuse the mind.) I wanted to walk away from him, but he seemed so nice, and like he really cared about me. I subconsciously knew that he wasn't as he seemed, but it was like my knowledge of who he was had been taken away. I knew he really wasn't a good man, but I couldn't remember why. (The factious send witchcraft spirits of “confusion” doubt and unbelief.) I was really struggling between wanting to be loved by him and wanting to walk away and not look back. There was this strange pull trying to draw me to him. With my reasoning I wanted nothing to do with him, but my emotions were being manipulated towards him. (We bind all their witchcraft of control and manipulation to seduce and capture other women.) Kevin's truck was a pretty blue (a righteous facade). The scene changed and I was standing next to Kevin's truck and David and Michael were there. David was smiling and kind but urging me to flee from Kevin. (We must resist the devil and all his tactics of deceptive charm and lustful seduction. 2Co 2:11 that no advantage may be gained over us by Satan: for we are not ignorant of his devices.) He was so calm but told me I should flee like it was for my life and to go where Kevin couldn't find me. (We are hidden and abiding in Christ.) I knew it would be hard to flee because he was always hanging around close by. (Remain fully armored with the Word (Eph 6:10-20) and continue to bind the demons operating through their witchcraft and curses and loose the angels.) Then I saw a GPS map with my vehicle, driving this way and that, trying to flee in unpredictable ways. I saw a line behind mine that was Kevin's vehicle following my trail. He was far behind me, yet he always caught up close to where I was. I suddenly realized that he was actually stalking me and just how creepy he was. There was no way for him to know where I was at, yet he was always able to follow me, short-cutting close to where I was every time.(Philip had an app on his phone so he always knew where his wife was even when she ran away one time. We bind all Kevin's spying and stalking spirits and declare they are all null and void. We cast down the powers and principality operating through him in Jesus name. I caught him stalking other other women.) End of dream. I had a dream a couple years ago where Kevin was in a blue truck spying on us. There was a fire in the house where we met, but Kevin ended up fleeing for his life after being shot at by David who was target shooting into the field where Kevin was spying from. I wanted to send this to you as I thought it might be some direction for warfare for Eve and the other women.    A Word   David Timoshchuk 6/2/23 (David's notes in red)  Last night I was led to pray for all the persecutors and family and I kept repeating, "Father forgive them for they know not what they do." Then this morning while preparing the jalapeños, these words kept repeating in my head, "Kevin and Eddie have fallen by their own swords." And shortly after, I heard the words, "It is finished."  Psa 37:12-15 The wicked plotteth against the just, And gnasheth upon him with his teeth. 13 The Lord will laugh at him; For he seeth that his day is coming. 14 The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, To cast down the poor and needy, To slay such as are upright in the way. 15 Their sword shall enter into their own heart, And their bows shall be broken.  Dream of Judgement Coming  Alenna Timoshchuk 8/30/23 (David's notes in red)  I dreamt that I was in the Walmart parking lot with my mom and daughters. We had set up camping chairs in the back and were there to watch a meteor shower and to see a sign in the sky. While we were waiting, I saw chaos happening all around me. I knew that everyone was boycotting the grocery stores and anyone who was weak and would enter to get groceries for their family, the people boycotting would attack them. Some were even lighting their cars on fire to scare off anyone else from trying to shop. I thought that I needed to wake up and tell my husband my dream but then slipped into another one.  I was with my husband in my parents' house and my girls were asleep in another room. I started sharing my dream with him and noticed a massive storm approaching. I knew we needed to be in a safe room during the storm, so I went to get my daughters and I saw that my oldest had woken up and gone outside and was playing with a cousin. I ran out and got her and told the other little girl to run home because a huge storm is coming and the wind had already picked up to really strong winds. My little cousin excitedly asked me if we were going to heaven, and I told her not just yet.  Then again, I started thinking that I needed to tell my husband my dream but that I need to get a verse by faith at random first and two places from the Bible popped into my mind Matthew 11:22 and Mark 11:13. I had no idea what these verses were but I knew the Lord put them in mind. Then I woke up so I could write them down before I'd forget.   Mat 11:22 But I say unto you, it shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon in the day of judgment, than for you. Mar 11:13 And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find anything thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for it was not the season of figs.  I felt that this dream was telling me the Lord's judgement is coming very quickly.  Tsunami Judgement Coming  Tianna Fire 2/8/23 (David's notes in red)  I dreamt we were with the local brethren, and we all lived next to each other in a community. A warning came from God in an audible voice, and He said, "A tsunami is coming." (Tsunamis are destructive surges of water that can hit land. This could represent a spiritual tsunami bringing judgement on the wicked. 1Jn 4:17 Herein is love made perfect with us, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as he is, even so are we in this world.)  The brethren were all cheering that God had given warning this time. The brethren spoke about the last time there was a giant tsunami and storm, but God didn't tell them it was coming and that it had wiped out everyone except the UBM brethren. (God gives us warnings of judgments so we can be ready ourselves and warn others so they can repent from sin and turn to the Lord. Many judgements will wipe out the wicked.)  Last time everyone was in the water and having to tread over all the wavesand all the brethren were gathered near each other in the water. (The Body of Christ needs to stay together abiding in the water, which is the Word of God and not let faction separate them.) It was so dark and there were storms and vicious waves and for three days they had to do this. (The storms and treading the waves of water represent the trials and tribulations we go through being tried by the Word in our death of the old man. The three days represent the time Jesus was dead in the tomb.) Because of their faith and strength in Christ, they were preserved, but all the other people were taken out by the tsunami. (We need to obey the Lord and walk the crucified life of death to self. When we do, we save our souls.) Mat 10:22 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end, the same shall be saved. Joh 12:25 He that loveth his life loseth it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.  I asked some of the sisters how they were able to tread on the water with their three children each and a few of the children were able to tread themselves or the children were strapped to their parents with a carrier. (Parents are to teach their children the Word and how to walk by faith so they know how to go through trials too. Deu 11:19 And ye shall teach them your children, talking of them, when thou sittest in thy house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. Pro 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go, And even when he is old he will not depart from it.)   I honestly had much fear of maybe having to tread in dark open water and I was worried about sharks. But the brethren said because God has warned us this time, we won't have to do that. (When we go through our trials in faith and obedience and overcome them, we don't have to go through them again and again.)  We all grabbed what we needed and walked to the highest point on the biggest hill in the town. (Representing our walk to get to Mt Zion and be in Jerusalem, who is the Bride.) When we got to the top there was a giant treethat we all climbed and got on top. (This giant tree represents the Tree of Life, Who is Jesus. Pro 3:18 She is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her:[Wisdom] And happy is every one that retaineth her.   Rev 2:7 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the churches. To him that overcometh, to him will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the Paradise of God. Rev 22:14-15 Blessed are they that wash their robes, that they may have the right to come to the tree of life, and may enter in by the gates into the city.15 Without are the dogs, and the sorcerers, and the fornicators, and the murderers, and the idolaters, and every one that loveth and maketh a lie. Psa 92:12 The righteous shall flourish like the palm-tree: He shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.)  We could see the view over the whole town and the water and there was a giant storm forming and waves rushing. (This giant storm forming could be DS planned attacks as well as the tribulation period, which is soon to start.)We then saw other people from the town running to the hill to try and get up high. Then giant waves started rushing through the town and everyone not on the hill was washed away. (Many people are unaware of the coming storm. We need to be abiding in Christ now, dwelling in heavenly places which is by faith in His promises. Eph 2:5-6 even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace have ye been saved), 6 and raised us up with him, and made us to sit with him in the heavenly places, in Christ Jesus:)  Some other people were on the hill and started running to the top. But then another giant wave crashed on the hill and everyone not on the tree was taken out. The storm lasted about 5 days but we were all content praising God from the tree and again UBM brethren were the only ones left alive from the town.  This is Our Fathers Heart  Debbie Fenske 8/6/23  I finished writing down what I was hearing from the Lord, I got hesitant about it. I was thinking about using coins for confirmation. So I asked the Lord, “Father, shall I blog this?” And Father said, “Be led by My Spirit. I simply said, “I know, Lord.” Then He said to me, “What did you hear? What did you feel?” I told Father, “I heard you speaking, and I felt you heart.” I received nothing back from the Lord then, and knew that I was being led by His Spirit, and that I had been hearing His heart.     I was laying on my couch listening to this constant rolling thunder. It was beautiful. So then I heard:   “Do you hear the thunder? I said, “Yes Lord. It's beautiful.” He said, “So is My voice that is continually speaking. I will not stop until all who I have called to Myself have heard My call.     But, woe to those who have heard, but will not respond to Me. For them is coming tremendous woe. And there is much woe coming to my sheep who have become lost, and do not want to find their way back, ignoring any of My guidance.     They have been lost too long, and no longer have a conscience. The day is nigh that will be woe to them! And woe to those who I have been calling to Myself, and out of My great mercy for them I have sent my ambassadors, My witnesses to them.     And some of them only like the message they here. And some only like the thought of a life walking with Me. But, woe to them! Pray, instead, for the multitudes ready to embrace Me and My kingdom through the mighty Word preached from My Sons who I will fully dwell in, and the mighty signs, and wonders they will perform.     Right now, see the glory! I know those who are mine. And I know those who never have been mine, and those who are mine no longer. Very soon all who I have chosen will be Mine, bearing My name. There were many other children and workers there. (This represents the children who have lost their families in the DS wars and earthquakes, and hurricane destruction causing them to be placed in orphanages and foster homes; many of them are funded by the governments and used to traffic children by the satanists. In the recent event in Maui, there are over 2,000 children missing.) A group of the children had run away from the orphanage to the forest because some of the workers there had been sexually abusing children. (Representing the satanists and sexual perversion and pedophilia in the DS and the ungodly.) NENT Gen 6:11 And the earth was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.    I wanted to leave too, because I didn't want anything to do with that. So, I and two other children planned to leave. (Lot and his 2 daughters escaped Sodom. NENT Gen 19:17 And it came to pass, when they had brought them forth abroad, that he said, Escape for thy life; look not behind thee, neither stay thou in all the Plain; escape to the mountain, lest thou be consumed.)    It was lunchtime and all the children were playing in the playground. My friends came up to me and told me they were going to run away right now. I said that I haven't packed my bag yet. They said they would go out of the school and wait in the forest for me, and they ran off and I went into my room to pack my bag. To get to my room I had to walk past one of the men that had been abusing children. I was praying in my heart that he wouldn't notice me, as if I was invisible, and he wouldn't see me. (NENT Col 3:3 For ye died, and your life is hid with the Christ in God.)     I went into my room and packed everything I could in my bag including water. I was making a lot of noise trying to find everything quickly. I also was afraid because I was alone in the room and not only was I scared of getting caught trying to escape but I feared him trying to do something evil to me. I had the bag almost fully packed, when the man walked into the room, and he grabbed something from a desk. He walked straight past me and couldn't even see me even though I was in plain sight. (God answered the prayer to be made invisible and not be seen! NENT Luk 4:30 But HE passing through the midst of them went his way.)    I escaped and ran off to join my friends in the woods. We spent the next few days trying to survive there, avoiding animals, trying to keep warm at night and not give in to fear of the scary animal sounds we heard. Also, we had a lot of trouble trying to find food and not going the wrong way. (NENT Rev 12:6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath there a place prepared of God, that there they may nourish her a thousand two hundred threescore days.) We honestly had no idea where we were going. All we had ever known was this orphanage, so we had no idea what to expect because we never had contact with the outside world. (NENT Heb 11:8 By faith Abraham, when called, obeyed to go out unto a place which he was to receive for inheritance, and went out, not knowing whither he was going. 2Co 5:7 (for we walk through faith, not through sight.))     After about three days of being in the forest we found a house hidden in the woods. No one was home so we snuck in through a window and went through the house, took some food and we went and hid upstairs in a bedroom that didn't look like it was regularly used.     We heard someone walking around the house and we knew someone lived there. We tried our best to stay hidden, we wanted to stay here because it was better than being in the woods, especially at night. And we could secretly go find food in the house when we felt the person wasn't there, or when we thought they were asleep. We stayed in this room for a little while, but we ended up going into the attic. We hadn't been in the attic long before thiselderly man came up and found us. He was very kind, caring and loving, which is something we hadn't experienced before. (The elderly man represents our Heavenly Father, or it may represent Jesus.)    When we were in the orphanage all the children were always in fear of the workers and only had other children to console in. The man let us stay in his place for a while, feeding us and talking with us and he built up a trust with us and we confessed where we were from and why we ran away. (We all start out as children and learn to trust the Lord. By His grace we can have a healthy relationship with Him, where we can be nurtured and grow.)    He told us that there had been many children before us that had run away for the same reasons. That he had his house here for a long time and that he had helped many other children in our situation. He told us there was a man, who ran away as a child, and that he had taken him in and raised him. Now this man lives in another town, and he always tries to help children in any way he can, because he understands and had experienced the same evil abuse as a child.    The elderly man called him, and he said that he and his wife will take us in and raise us as their own. They came and picked us up, and we went to live in their house, and they were very friendly, gentle and understanding. Then I woke up.    Declass The Angels told us that in the future we would be speaking to one another in dangerous territory by the Spirit. Emails and texts and other physical forms of communication are hacked by governments and others and are dangerous. This is true if you are a Christian missionary among an unfavorable religious society. The Lord impressed me to practice this. I went to our head UBM angel Baruch and asked if he could send a message to Eve and he said yes. He did and received a word back which Baruch gave to me. Then I received understanding that this was too primitive. So this morphed into total communication between us. This involved either spoken words or thoughts. All I had to do was address her by name and the angel would open a line of communication between us that was totally natural like you were sitting in the same room. This morphed into not even calling on the angel just speaking or thinking communication which was just like my former communication with the angels. I saw a vision of Eve with different colored hair and it was straight. Another had a dream of her looking the same. I asked Eve if she had an alias and she said yes. This way she could work for Kevin, whom she was completely submissive to because of the demons he had put on her; Including witchcraft, voodoo, slander, lust, fornication, and adultery so she would do her job for them. You say, David why would you not cast these demons off of her. We have in the past but now the Lord is bringing her through this whole experience to humble her and to be an advocate for those taken advantage of by filthy satanists. The Spirit continued my education and experience regarding what seemed like natural communications. I asked Eve some questions that would have been dangerous for her to answer, which I will explain later. She answered them because the Spirit overruled her demons. I asked her “Are they farming you out to other men besides them.” She said yes, so I said how many?  She said she couldn't say.  But Baruch, who was standing by, interjected “with 12 men”.  She then said this was correct. I said in one week, no wonder you say you are tired. I asked are you doing this from your apartment?  She said, no, we have a building. I asked are the other girls also in that building?  Baruch said they have 14. She said, yes, but she could have no communication with them. To say the least, this sickened me that satanists all over the world are trafficking men, women, children and babies. I asked, are Kevin and Eddie making a lot of money off of you all.  She said, Yes. I said are your customers men of importance who would defend Kevin if he got caught trafficking women and she said some of them are. Are some cops, lawyers, judges, politicians, type people, she said she believes so but does not know their names. I thought, good, that is safer for her. Then I asked, are the rooms equipped with hidden cameras and sound recorders, She said yes.  This is Epstein Island all over again and all over the world. They recorded the politicians, big business, judges, etc. and blackmailed them to take over the countries. I said, Lord if I declass this it will be dangerous for them. These men do not want to be known. I heard that we are so close to the end of this it won't make any difference.  I asked for 3 heads to confirm this and got them. Also Vanessa received from the Lord, “No weapon formed against Eve shall prosper.” I believe this is for the other elect women also.   Just to let Kevin and Eddie and all the satanists know, be careful with these women, men, and their children you have captured because like Trump, “We have it all.”  Oh, you think not? These angels know everything and they are talking to more people than me. God was speaking to me so I said to Baruch, The problem is that these sinners are enjoying this too much to stop because of the demons they have received. Do you think ED and symptoms of disease would fix that? He said, yes, and he would take care of it. (They all would know there was just one common denominator, Kevin and Eddie, since they insist on molesting them all.) Shortly after this Michael had crazy things happening to his computer and phone so he rebuked it and it left. So we knew it was retaliation and we bound all retaliation against our body.  I think it is Mordecai and Esther's cancelling the Jews curse with their edict and putting it instead on Haman and his sons and people as we just studied.

Hosea 8–14 Hosea 8–14 (Listen) Israel Will Reap the Whirlwind 8   Set the trumpet to your lips!    One like a vulture is over the house of the LORD,  because they have transgressed my covenant    and rebelled against my law.2   To me they cry,    “My God, we—Israel—know you.”3   Israel has spurned the good;    the enemy shall pursue him. 4   They made kings, but not through me.    They set up princes, but I knew it not.  With their silver and gold they made idols    for their own destruction.5   I have1 spurned your calf, O Samaria.    My anger burns against them.  How long will they be incapable of innocence?6   For it is from Israel;  a craftsman made it;    it is not God.  The calf of Samaria    shall be broken to pieces.2 7   For they sow the wind,    and they shall reap the whirlwind.  The standing grain has no heads;    it shall yield no flour;  if it were to yield,    strangers would devour it.8   Israel is swallowed up;    already they are among the nations    as a useless vessel.9   For they have gone up to Assyria,    a wild donkey wandering alone;    Ephraim has hired lovers.10   Though they hire allies among the nations,    I will soon gather them up.  And the king and princes shall soon writhe    because of the tribute. 11   Because Ephraim has multiplied altars for sinning,    they have become to him altars for sinning.12   Were I to write for him my laws by the ten thousands,    they would be regarded as a strange thing.13   As for my sacrificial offerings,    they sacrifice meat and eat it,    but the LORD does not accept them.  Now he will remember their iniquity    and punish their sins;    they shall return to Egypt.14   For Israel has forgotten his Maker    and built palaces,  and Judah has multiplied fortified cities;    so I will send a fire upon his cities,    and it shall devour her strongholds. The Lord Will Punish Israel 9   Rejoice not, O Israel!    Exult not like the peoples;  for you have played the whore, forsaking your God.    You have loved a prostitute's wages    on all threshing floors.2   Threshing floor and wine vat shall not feed them,    and the new wine shall fail them.3   They shall not remain in the land of the LORD,    but Ephraim shall return to Egypt,    and they shall eat unclean food in Assyria. 4   They shall not pour drink offerings of wine to the LORD,    and their sacrifices shall not please him.  It shall be like mourners' bread to them;    all who eat of it shall be defiled;  for their bread shall be for their hunger only;    it shall not come to the house of the LORD. 5   What will you do on the day of the appointed festival,    and on the day of the feast of the LORD?6   For behold, they are going away from destruction;    but Egypt shall gather them;    Memphis shall bury them.  Nettles shall possess their precious things of silver;    thorns shall be in their tents. 7   The days of punishment have come;    the days of recompense have come;    Israel shall know it.  The prophet is a fool;    the man of the spirit is mad,  because of your great iniquity    and great hatred.8   The prophet is the watchman of Ephraim with my God;  yet a fowler's snare is on all his ways,    and hatred in the house of his God.9   They have deeply corrupted themselves    as in the days of Gibeah:  he will remember their iniquity;    he will punish their sins. 10   Like grapes in the wilderness,    I found Israel.  Like the first fruit on the fig tree    in its first season,    I saw your fathers.  But they came to Baal-peor    and consecrated themselves to the thing of shame,    and became detestable like the thing they loved.11   Ephraim's glory shall fly away like a bird—    no birth, no pregnancy, no conception!12   Even if they bring up children,    I will bereave them till none is left.  Woe to them    when I depart from them!13   Ephraim, as I have seen, was like a young palm3 planted in a meadow;    but Ephraim must lead his children out to slaughter.414   Give them, O LORD—    what will you give?  Give them a miscarrying womb    and dry breasts. 15   Every evil of theirs is in Gilgal;    there I began to hate them.  Because of the wickedness of their deeds    I will drive them out of my house.  I will love them no more;    all their princes are rebels. 16   Ephraim is stricken;    their root is dried up;    they shall bear no fruit.  Even though they give birth,    I will put their beloved children to death.17   My God will reject them    because they have not listened to him;    they shall be wanderers among the nations. 10   Israel is a luxuriant vine    that yields its fruit.  The more his fruit increased,    the more altars he built;  as his country improved,    he improved his pillars.2   Their heart is false;    now they must bear their guilt.  The LORD5 will break down their altars    and destroy their pillars. 3   For now they will say:    “We have no king,  for we do not fear the LORD;    and a king—what could he do for us?”4   They utter mere words;    with empty6 oaths they make covenants;  so judgment springs up like poisonous weeds    in the furrows of the field.5   The inhabitants of Samaria tremble    for the calf7 of Beth-aven.  Its people mourn for it, and so do its idolatrous priests—    those who rejoiced over it and over its glory—    for it has departed8 from them.6   The thing itself shall be carried to Assyria    as tribute to the great king.9  Ephraim shall be put to shame,    and Israel shall be ashamed of his idol.10 7   Samaria's king shall perish    like a twig on the face of the waters.8   The high places of Aven, the sin of Israel,    shall be destroyed.  Thorn and thistle shall grow up    on their altars,  and they shall say to the mountains, “Cover us,”    and to the hills, “Fall on us.” 9   From the days of Gibeah, you have sinned, O Israel;    there they have continued.    Shall not the war against the unjust11 overtake them in Gibeah?10   When I please, I will discipline them,    and nations shall be gathered against them    when they are bound up for their double iniquity. 11   Ephraim was a trained calf    that loved to thresh,    and I spared her fair neck;  but I will put Ephraim to the yoke;    Judah must plow;    Jacob must harrow for himself.12   Sow for yourselves righteousness;    reap steadfast love;    break up your fallow ground,  for it is the time to seek the LORD,    that he may come and rain righteousness upon you. 13   You have plowed iniquity;    you have reaped injustice;    you have eaten the fruit of lies.  Because you have trusted in your own way    and in the multitude of your warriors,14   therefore the tumult of war shall arise among your people,    and all your fortresses shall be destroyed,  as Shalman destroyed Beth-arbel on the day of battle;    mothers were dashed in pieces with their children.15   Thus it shall be done to you, O Bethel,    because of your great evil.  At dawn the king of Israel    shall be utterly cut off. The Lord's Love for Israel 11   When Israel was a child, I loved him,    and out of Egypt I called my son.2   The more they were called,    the more they went away;  they kept sacrificing to the Baals    and burning offerings to idols. 3   Yet it was I who taught Ephraim to walk;    I took them up by their arms,    but they did not know that I healed them.4   I led them with cords of kindness,12    with the bands of love,  and I became to them as one who eases the yoke on their jaws,    and I bent down to them and fed them. 5   They shall not13 return to the land of Egypt,    but Assyria shall be their king,    because they have refused to return to me.6   The sword shall rage against their cities,    consume the bars of their gates,    and devour them because of their own counsels.7   My people are bent on turning away from me,    and though they call out to the Most High,    he shall not raise them up at all. 8   How can I give you up, O Ephraim?    How can I hand you over, O Israel?  How can I make you like Admah?    How can I treat you like Zeboiim?  My heart recoils within me;    my compassion grows warm and tender.9   I will not execute my burning anger;    I will not again destroy Ephraim;  for I am God and not a man,    the Holy One in your midst,    and I will not come in wrath.14 10   They shall go after the LORD;    he will roar like a lion;  when he roars,    his children shall come trembling from the west;11   they shall come trembling like birds from Egypt,    and like doves from the land of Assyria,    and I will return them to their homes, declares the LORD.12   15 Ephraim has surrounded me with lies,    and the house of Israel with deceit,  but Judah still walks with God    and is faithful to the Holy One.12   Ephraim feeds on the wind    and pursues the east wind all day long;  they multiply falsehood and violence;    they make a covenant with Assyria,    and oil is carried to Egypt. Morning: Ecclesiastes 10–12 Ecclesiastes 10–12 (Listen) 10   Dead flies make the perfumer's ointment give off a stench;    so a little folly outweighs wisdom and honor.2   A wise man's heart inclines him to the right,    but a fool's heart to the left.3   Even when the fool walks on the road, he lacks sense,    and he says to everyone that he is a fool.4   If the anger of the ruler rises against you, do not leave your place,    for calmness1 will lay great offenses to rest. 5 There is an evil that I have seen under the sun, as it were an error proceeding from the ruler: 6 folly is set in many high places, and the rich sit in a low place. 7 I have seen slaves on horses, and princes walking on the ground like slaves. 8   He who digs a pit will fall into it,    and a serpent will bite him who breaks through a wall.9   He who quarries stones is hurt by them,    and he who splits logs is endangered by them.10   If the iron is blunt, and one does not sharpen the edge,    he must use more strength,    but wisdom helps one to succeed.211   If the serpent bites before it is charmed,    there is no advantage to the charmer. 12   The words of a wise man's mouth win him favor,3    but the lips of a fool consume him.13   The beginning of the words of his mouth is foolishness,    and the end of his talk is evil madness.14   A fool multiplies words,    though no man knows what is to be,    and who can tell him what will be after him?15   The toil of a fool wearies him,    for he does not know the way to the city. 16   Woe to you, O land, when your king is a child,    and your princes feast in the morning!17   Happy are you, O land, when your king is the son of the nobility,    and your princes feast at the proper time,    for strength, and not for drunkenness!18   Through sloth the roof sinks in,    and through indolence the house leaks.19   Bread is made for laughter,    and wine gladdens life,    and money answers everything.20   Even in your thoughts, do not curse the king,    nor in your bedroom curse the rich,  for a bird of the air will carry your voice,    or some winged creature tell the matter. Cast Your Bread upon the Waters 11   Cast your bread upon the waters,    for you will find it after many days.2   Give a portion to seven, or even to eight,    for you know not what disaster may happen on earth.3   If the clouds are full of rain,    they empty themselves on the earth,  and if a tree falls to the south or to the north,    in the place where the tree falls, there it will lie.4   He who observes the wind will not sow,    and he who regards the clouds will not reap. 5 As you do not know the way the spirit comes to the bones in the womb4 of a woman with child, so you do not know the work of God who makes everything. 6 In the morning sow your seed, and at evening withhold not your hand, for you do not know which will prosper, this or that, or whether both alike will be good. 7 Light is sweet, and it is pleasant for the eyes to see the sun. 8 So if a person lives many years, let him rejoice in them all; but let him remember that the days of darkness will be many. All that comes is vanity.5 9 Rejoice, O young man, in your youth, and let your heart cheer you in the days of your youth. Walk in the ways of your heart and the sight of your eyes. But know that for all these things God will bring you into judgment. 10 Remove vexation from your heart, and put away pain6 from your body, for youth and the dawn of life are vanity. Remember Your Creator in Your Youth 12 Remember also your Creator in the days of your youth, before the evil days come and the years draw near of which you will say, “I have no pleasure in them”; 2 before the sun and the light and the moon and the stars are darkened and the clouds return after the rain, 3 in the day when the keepers of the house tremble, and the strong men are bent, and the grinders cease because they are few, and those who look through the windows are dimmed, 4 and the doors on the street are shut—when the sound of the grinding is low, and one rises up at the sound of a bird, and all the daughters of song are brought low—5 they are afraid also of what is high, and terrors are in the way; the almond tree blossoms, the grasshopper drags itself along,7 and desire fails, because man is going to his eternal home, and the mourners go about the streets—6 before the silver cord is snapped, or the golden bowl is broken, or the pitcher is shattered at the fountain, or the wheel broken at the cistern, 7 and the dust returns to the earth as it was, and the spirit returns to God who gave it. 8 Vanity8 of vanities, says the Preacher; all is vanity. Fear God and Keep His Commandments 9 Besides being wise, the Preacher also taught the people knowledge, weighing and studying and arranging many proverbs with great care. 10 The Preacher sought to find words of delight, and uprightly he wrote words of truth. 11 The words of the wise are like goads, and like nails firmly fixed are the collected sayings; they are given by one Shepherd. 12 My son, beware of anything beyond these. Of making many books there is no end, and much study is a weariness of the flesh. 13 The end of the matter; all has been heard. Jesus Followers Will Be Tempted, but God “will not let you be tempted beyond your ability . . . to endure” MESSAGE SUMMARY: You will be tempted again and again, but the temptation itself is not the sin. The sin resides in your grabbing onto the temptation; dwelling on the temptation; and following through on the temptation. Jesus was tempted, and He always faced temptation by quoting scripture to the temptation source. As Jesus tells you about Temptation and sin in Matthew 18:7-8: “Woe to the world for temptations to sin! For it is necessary that temptations come, but woe to the one by whom the temptation comes! And if your hand or your foot causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life crippled or lame than with two hands or two feet to be thrown into the eternal fire.". Also, Paul, in 1 Corinthians 10:13, confirms that God will not permit us to be tempted in a manner that we will be unable to resist: “No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.". You can follow Jesus' example by using scripture to deal with a temptation – there is scripture to deal with every temptation that you may face.   TODAY'S PRAYER: Most merciful God I confess that I have sinned against you in thought, word, and deed, by what I have done, and by what I have left undone. I have not loved you with my whole heart; I have not loved my neighbors as myself. Hosea's Wife and Children 2 When the LORD first spoke through Hosea, the LORD said to Hosea, “Go, take to yourself a wife of whoredom and have children of whoredom, for the land commits great whoredom by forsaking the LORD.” 3 So he went and took Gomer, the daughter of Diblaim, and she conceived and bore him a son. 4 And the LORD said to him, “Call his name Jezreel, for in just a little while I will punish the house of Jehu for the blood of Jezreel, and I will put an end to the kingdom of the house of Israel. 5 And on that day I will break the bow of Israel in the Valley of Jezreel.” 6 She conceived again and bore a daughter. Israel's Unfaithfulness Punished 2 6 Say to your brothers, “You are my people,”7 and to your sisters, “You have received mercy.”8 2   “Plead with your mother, plead—    for she is not my wife,    and I am not her husband—  that she put away her whoring from her face,    and her adultery from between her breasts;3   lest I strip her naked    and make her as in the day she was born,  and make her like a wilderness,    and make her like a parched land,    and kill her with thirst.4   Upon her children also I will have no mercy,    because they are children of whoredom.5   For their mother has played the whore;    she who conceived them has acted shamefully.  For she said, ‘I will go after my lovers,    who give me my bread and my water,    my wool and my flax, my oil and my drink.'6   Therefore I will hedge up her9 way with thorns,    and I will build a wall against her,    so that she cannot find her paths.7   She shall pursue her lovers    but not overtake them,  and she shall seek them    but shall not find them.  Then she shall say,    ‘I will go and return to my first husband,    for it was better for me then than now.'8   And she did not know    that it was I who gave her    the grain, the wine, and the oil,  and who lavished on her silver and gold,    which they used for Baal.9   Therefore I will take back    my grain in its time,    and my wine in its season,  and I will take away my wool and my flax,    which were to cover her nakedness.10   Now I will uncover her lewdness    in the sight of her lovers,    and no one shall rescue her out of my hand.11   And I will put an end to all her mirth,    her feasts, her new moons, her Sabbaths,    and all her appointed feasts.12   And I will lay waste her vines and her fig trees,    of which she said,  ‘These are my wages,    which my lovers have given me.'  I will make them a forest,    and the beasts of the field shall devour them.13   And I will punish her for the feast days of the Baals    when she burned offerings to them  and adorned herself with her ring and jewelry,    and went after her lovers    and forgot me, declares the LORD. The Lord's Mercy on Israel 14   “Therefore, behold, I will allure her,    and bring her into the wilderness,    and speak tenderly to her.15   And there I will give her her vineyards    and make the Valley of Achor10 a door of hope.  And there she shall answer as in the days of her youth,    as at the time when she came out of the land of Egypt. 16 “And in that day, declares the LORD, you will call me ‘My Husband,' and no longer will you call me ‘My Baal.' 17 For I will remove the names of the Baals from her mouth, and they shall be remembered by name no more. 18 And I will make for them a covenant on that day with the beasts of the field, the birds of the heavens, and the creeping things of the ground. And I will abolish11 the bow, the sword, and war from the land, and I will make you lie down in safety. 19 And I will betroth you to me forever. I will betroth you to me in righteousness and in justice, in steadfast love and in mercy. 20 I will betroth you to me in faithfulness. And you shall know the LORD. 21   “And in that day I will answer, declares the LORD,    I will answer the heavens,    and they shall answer the earth,22   and the earth shall answer the grain, the wine, and the oil,    and they shall answer Jezreel,1223     and I will sow her for myself in the land.  And I will have mercy on No Mercy,13    and I will say to Not My People,14 ‘You are my people';    and he shall say, ‘You are my God.'” Hosea Redeems His Wife 3 And the LORD said to me, “Go again, love a woman who is loved by another man and is an adulteress, even as the LORD loves the children of Israel, though they turn to other gods and love cakes of raisins.” 2 So I bought her for fifteen shekels of silver and a homer and a lethech15 of barley. 3 And I said to her, “You must dwell as mine for many days. You shall not play the whore, or belong to another man; so will I also be to you.” 4 For the children of Israel shall dwell many days without king or prince, without sacrifice or pillar, without ephod or household gods. 5 Afterward the children of Israel shall return and seek the LORD their God, and David their king, and they shall come in fear to the LORD and to his goodness in the latter days. The Lord Accuses Israel 4   Hear the word of the LORD, O children of Israel,    for the LORD has a controversy with the inhabitants of the land.  There is no faithfulness or steadfast love,    and no knowledge of God in the land;2   there is swearing, lying, murder, stealing, and committing adultery;    they break all bounds, and bloodshed follows bloodshed.3   Therefore the land mourns,    and all who dwell in it languish,  and also the beasts of the field    and the birds of the heavens,    and even the fish of the sea are taken away. 4   Yet let no one contend,    and let none accuse,    for with you is my contention, O priest.165   You shall stumble by day;    the prophet also shall stumble with you by night;    and I will destroy your mother.6   My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge;    because you have rejected knowledge,    I reject you from being a priest to me.  And since you have forgotten the law of your God,    I also will forget your children. 7   The more they increased,    the more they sinned against me;    I will change their glory into shame.8   They feed on the sin17 of my people;    they are greedy for their iniquity.9   And it shall be like people, like priest;    I will punish them for their ways    and repay them for their deeds.10   They shall eat, but not be satisfied;    they shall play the whore, but not multiply,  because they have forsaken the LORD    to cherish 11 whoredom, wine, and new wine,    which take away the understanding.12   My people inquire of a piece of wood,    and their walking staff gives them oracles.  For a spirit of whoredom has led them astray,    and they have left their God to play the whore.13   They sacrifice on the tops of the mountains    and burn offerings on the hills,  under oak, poplar, and terebinth,    because their shade is good.  Therefore your daughters play the whore,    and your brides commit adultery.14   I will not punish your daughters when they play the whore,    nor your brides when they commit adultery;  for the men themselves go aside with prostitutes    and sacrifice with cult prostitutes,  and a people without understanding shall come to ruin. 15   Though you play the whore, O Israel,    let not Judah become guilty.  Enter not into Gilgal,    nor go up to Beth-aven,    and swear not, “As the LORD lives.”16   Like a stubborn heifer,    Israel is stubborn;  can the LORD now feed them    like a lamb in a broad pasture? 17   Ephraim is joined to idols;    leave him alone.18   When their drink is gone, they give themselves to whoring;    their rulers18 dearly love shame.19   A wind has wrapped them19 in its wings,    and they shall be ashamed because of their sacrifices. Punishment Coming for Israel and Judah 5   Hear this, O priests!    Pay attention, O house of Israel!  Give ear, O house of the king!    For the judgment is for you;  for you have been a snare at Mizpah    and a net spread upon Tabor.2   And the revolters have gone deep into slaughter,    but I will discipline all of them. 3   I know Ephraim,    and Israel is not hidden from me;  for now, O Ephraim, you have played the whore;    Israel is defiled.4   Their deeds do not permit them    to return to their God.  For the spirit of whoredom is within them,    and they know not the LORD. 5   The pride of Israel testifies to his face;20    Israel and Ephraim shall stumble in his guilt;    Judah also shall stumble with them.6   With their flocks and herds they shall go    to seek the LORD,  but they will not find him;    he has withdrawn from them.7   They have dealt faithlessly with the LORD;    for they have borne alien children.    Now the new moon shall devour them with their fields. 8   Blow the horn in Gibeah,    the trumpet in Ramah.  Sound the alarm at Beth-aven;    we follow you,21 O Benjamin!9   Ephraim shall become a desolation    in the day of punishment;  among the tribes of Israel    I make known what is sure.10   The princes of Judah have become    like those who move the landmark;  upon them I will pour out    my wrath like water.11   Ephraim is oppressed, crushed in judgment,    because he was determined to go after filth.2212   But I am like a moth to Ephraim,    and like dry rot to the house of Judah. 13   When Ephraim saw his sickness,    and Judah his wound,  then Ephraim went to Assyria,    and sent to the great king.23  But he is not able to cure you    or heal your wound.14   For I will be like a lion to Ephraim,    and like a young lion to the house of Judah.  I, even I, will tear and go away;    I will carry off, and no one shall rescue. 15   I will return again to my place,    until they acknowledge their guilt and seek my face,    and in their distress earnestly seek me. Israel and Judah Are Unrepentant 6   “Come, let us return to the LORD;    for he has torn us, that he may heal us;    he has struck us down, and he will bind us up.2   After two days he will revive us;    on the third day he will raise us up,    that we may live before him.3   Let us know; let us press on to know the LORD;    his going out is sure as the dawn;  he will come to us as the showers,    as the spring rains that water the earth.” 4   What shall I do with you, O Ephraim?    What shall I do with you, O Judah?  Your love is like a morning cloud,    like the dew that goes early away.5   Therefore I have hewn them by the prophets;    I have slain them by the words of my mouth,    and my judgment goes forth as the light.6   For I desire steadfast love24 and not sacrifice,    the knowledge of God rather than burnt offerings. 7   But like Adam they transgressed the covenant;    there they dealt faithlessly with me.8   Gilead is a city of evildoers,    tracked with blood.9   As robbers lie in wait for a man,    so the priests band together;  they murder on the way to Shechem;    they commit villainy.10

Psalm 94 deals with the unjust treatment of the poor and helpless by wicked and evil people. We live in a day when we don't know who to trust. Not only do we see corruption and injustices around the world, but we are also experiencing it in our own blessed America. The culture today calls evil good and calls good evil. This is nothing new. Isaiah describes this very same thing in his own day in Isaiah 5:20-23: “Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness;"   The unknown writer of Psalm 94 gives us at least four things we can do when we are perplexed about the injustices in our society. In verses 1-7, we need to pray and cry out to God to take “vengeance” on these evil people. In verses 8-11, we must live and speak “the truth” to warn the wicked of the judgment they are going to face from God one day if they don't change their ways. In verses 12-15, we need to look inwardly at our own hearts and make sure that we are willing to receive God's chastening and discipline when we do wrong.   Now the fourth thing we can do is found in verses 16-23. We can and should work with God for justice in the world we presently are living in. And that is where you actually live. That is your community, your church, your work place, your school, your neighborhood, and wherever you are. Even in Solomon's day, people who were abused and exploited had no redress and found no one to execute justice on their behalf. He wrote: “Again, I observed all the oppression that takes place under the sun. I saw the tears of the oppressed, with no one to comfort them. The oppressors have great power, and their victims are helpless.” (Ecclesiastes 4:1).   It must have been much worse in the days of wicked King Manasseh, just before the fall of Jerusalem. This is when we believe the psalmist who wrote Psalm 94 was possibly living. In verse 16 he asks “Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? Who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?” This question is rhetorical and the writer answered it himself in verse 17 with "the Lord." The Lord of all the earth will stand up and we should rise up and stand with Him!   The psalmist was experiencing the devious plots of the evil leaders and cried out to God for help. He knew that the judges were twisting the law to exploit the poor. They were “devising evil by law” (v. 20). He felt like he was slipping into a deep and dangerous situation. His heart was anxious within him, but the Lord held him up, pulled Him out, and gave him peace within.   He was grateful for other believers who stood with him and prayed with him, for "my God" in verse 22 became "our God" in verse 23: “The LORD our God shall cut them off.” He trusted the Lord to bring about the judgment that the evil leaders deserved. Like Asaph in Psalm 73, he had been slipping in his faith and walk, but God showed him that the wicked were in slippery places and heading rapidly toward judgment (Psalm 73:2-3, 18, 27-28).   In these evil days, we give thanks that we have the Lord as our refuge and fortress. But we hide in Him, not that we may escape responsibility, but that we might be equipped to go forth and fight the enemy. Jesus said that we are to be the salt of the earth and the light of the world (Matt. 5:13-16). God's people should do all they can to encourage justice in this world. As Edmund Burke said, "It is necessary only for the good man to do nothing for evil to triumph."   Jesus gave us an encouraging parable in Luke 18:1-7 that also reminds us that our Father in heaven is a just judge and He will avenge us of our adversary when we cry out to Him. Today we need to rise up, stand up, and speak up for the innocence blood of the babies that is being shed.  May the Lord give us courage to do so!   God bless!

Proverbs 9:10 Woe betide the man or woman that dispenses of the knowledge of God.  We live in an era in the evangelical Church where experience trumps knowledge!  Everyone wants to experience God!!  Away with boring theology (they say) — let it perish with the seminaries!! Give us a fresh encounter!! Let us feel God!!  Let us experience His divine touch!!  I'm all for experiencing God, but again I go down on record to say, “THEOLOGY MATTERS”. How you understand God will determine how you relate to Him!!  What you know about God will affect how you live for God.  In this sermon, we look at two of God's divine attributes and how through the knowledge of God it ought to move us to fear.

A Psalm of the Sons of Korah. 47   Clap your hands, all peoples!    Shout to God with loud songs of joy!2   For the LORD, the Most High, is to be feared,    a great king over all the earth.3   He subdued peoples under us,    and nations under our feet.4   He chose our heritage for us,    the pride of Jacob whom he loves. Selah 5   God has gone up with a shout,    the LORD with the sound of a trumpet.6   Sing praises to God, sing praises!    Sing praises to our King, sing praises!7   For God is the King of all the earth;    sing praises with a psalm!1 8   God reigns over the nations;    God sits on his holy throne.9   The princes of the peoples gather    as the people of the God of Abraham.  For the shields of the earth belong to God;    he is highly exalted! And I will make for you a great name, like the name of the great ones of the earth. 10 And I will appoint a place for my people Israel and will plant them, so that they may dwell in their own place and be disturbed no more. And violent men shall afflict them no more, as formerly, 11 from the time that I appointed judges over my people Israel. And I will give you rest from all your enemies. Moreover, the LORD declares to you that the LORD will make you a house. 12 When your days are fulfilled and you lie down with your fathers, I will raise up your offspring after you, who shall come from your body, and I will establish his kingdom. 13 He shall build a house for my name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever. 14 I will be to him a father, and he shall be to me a son. When he commits iniquity, I will discipline him with the rod of men, with the stripes of the sons of men, 15 but my steadfast love will not depart from him, as I took it from Saul, whom I put away from before you. 16 And your house and your kingdom shall be made sure forever before me.3 Your throne shall be established forever.'” 17 In accordance with all these words, and in accordance with all this vision, Nathan spoke to David. David's Prayer of Gratitude 18 Then King David went in and sat before the LORD and said, “Who am I, O Lord GOD, and what is my house, that you have brought me thus far? 19 And yet this was a small thing in your eyes, O Lord GOD. You have spoken also of your servant's house for a great while to come, and this is instruction for mankind, O Lord GOD! 20 And what more can David say to you? For you know your servant, O Lord GOD! 21 Because of your promise, and according to your own heart, you have brought about all this greatness, to make your servant know it. 22 Therefore you are great, O LORD God. For there is none like you, and there is no God besides you, according to all that we have heard with our ears. 23 And who is like your people Israel, the one nation on earth whom God went to redeem to be his people, making himself a name and doing for them4 great and awesome things by driving out before your people,5 whom you redeemed for yourself from Egypt, a nation and its gods? 24 And you established for yourself your people Israel to be your people forever. Let not the buyer rejoice, nor the seller mourn, for wrath is upon all their multitude.5 13 For the seller shall not return to what he has sold, while they live. He who is in the field dies by the sword, and him who is in the city famine and pestilence devour. 16 And if any survivors escape, they will be on the mountains, like doves of the valleys, all of them moaning, each one over his iniquity. 17 All hands are feeble, and all knees turn to water. 18 They put on sackcloth, and horror covers them. Shame is on all faces, and baldness on all their heads. 19 They cast their silver into the streets, and their gold is like an unclean thing. Their silver and gold are not able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the LORD. They cannot satisfy their hunger or fill their stomachs with it. For it was the stumbling block of their iniquity. 20 His beautiful ornament they used for pride, and they made their abominable images and their detestable things of it. Therefore I make it an unclean thing to them. 21 And I will give it into the hands of foreigners for prey, and to the wicked of the earth for spoil, and they shall profane it. 22 I will turn my face from them, and they shall profane my treasured7 place. Robbers shall enter and profane it. 23 “Forge a chain!8 For the land is full of bloody crimes and the city is full of violence. 24 I will bring the worst of the nations to take possession of their houses. I will put an end to the pride of the strong, and their holy places9 shall be profaned. 25 When anguish comes, they will seek peace, but there shall be none. 26 Disaster comes upon disaster; rumor follows rumor. They seek a vision from the prophet, while the law10 perishes from the priest and counsel from the elders. 27 The king mourns, the prince is wrapped in despair, and the hands of the people of the land are paralyzed by terror. For you build the tombs of the prophets whom your fathers killed. 48 So you are witnesses and you consent to the deeds of your fathers, for they killed them, and you build their tombs. 49 Therefore also the Wisdom of God said, ‘I will send them prophets and apostles, some of whom they will kill and persecute,' 50 so that the blood of all the prophets, shed from the foundation of the world, may be charged against this generation, 51 from the blood of Abel to the blood of Zechariah, who perished between the altar and the sanctuary. Beware of the Leaven of the Pharisees 12 In the meantime, when so many thousands of the people had gathered together that they were trampling one another, he began to say to his disciples first, “Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy. 2 Nothing is covered up that will not be revealed, or hidden that will not be known. 3 Therefore whatever you have said in the dark shall be heard in the light, and what you have whispered in private rooms shall be proclaimed on the housetops. Have No Fear 4 “I tell you, my friends, do not fear those who kill the body, and after that have nothing more that they can do. 5 But I will warn you whom to fear: fear him who, after he has killed, has authority to cast into hell.2 Yes, I tell you, fear him! 6 Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies?3 And not one of them is forgotten before God. 7 Why, even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not; you are of more value than many sparrows. Psalms and Wisdom: Psalm 44 Psalm 44 (Listen) Come to Our Help To the choirmaster. A Maskil1 of the Sons of Korah. 44   O God, we have heard with our ears,    our fathers have told us,  what deeds you performed in their days,    in the days of old:2   you with your own hand drove out the nations,    but them you planted;  you afflicted the peoples,    but them you set free;3   for not by their own sword did they win the land,    nor did their own arm save them,  but your right hand and your arm,    and the light of your face,    for you delighted in them. 4   You are my King, O God;    ordain salvation for Jacob!5   Through you we push down our foes;    through your name we tread down those who rise up against us.6   For not in my bow do I trust,    nor can my sword save me.7   But you have saved us from our foes    and have put to shame those who hate us.8   In God we have boasted continually,    and we will give thanks to your name forever. Selah 9   But you have rejected us and disgraced us    and have not gone out with our armies.10   You have made us turn back from the foe,    and those who hate us have gotten spoil.11   You have made us like sheep for slaughter    and have scattered us among the nations.12   You have sold your people for a trifle,    demanding no high price for them.13   You have made us the taunt of our neighbors,    the derision and scorn of those around us.14   You have made us a byword among the nations,    a laughingstock2 among the peoples.15   All day long my disgrace is before me,    and shame has covered my face16   at the sound of the taunter and reviler,    at the sight of the enemy and the avenger. 17   All this has come upon us,    though we have not forgotten you,    and we have not been false to your covenant.18   Our heart has not turned back,    nor have our steps departed from your way;19   yet you have broken us in the place of jackals    and covered us with the shadow of death.20   If we had forgotten the name of our God    or spread out our hands to a foreign god,21   would not God discover this?    For he knows the secrets of the heart.22   Yet for your sake we are killed all the day long;    we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered. 23   Awake! Why are you sleeping, O Lord?    Rouse yourself! Forty days I assign you, a day for each year. 7 And you shall set your face toward the siege of Jerusalem, with your arm bared, and you shall prophesy against the city. 8 And behold, I will place cords upon you, so that you cannot turn from one side to the other, till you have completed the days of your siege. 9 “And you, take wheat and barley, beans and lentils, millet and emmer,2 and put them into a single vessel and make your bread from them. During the number of days that you lie on your side, 390 days, you shall eat it. 10 And your food that you eat shall be by weight, twenty shekels3 a day; from day to day4 you shall eat it. 11 And water you shall drink by measure, the sixth part of a hin;5 from day to day you shall drink. 12 And you shall eat it as a barley cake, baking it in their sight on human dung.” 13 And the LORD said, “Thus shall the people of Israel eat their bread unclean, among the nations where I will drive them.” 14 Then I said, “Ah, Lord GOD! Behold, I have never defiled myself.6 From my youth up till now I have never eaten what died of itself or was torn by beasts, nor has tainted meat come into my mouth.” 15 Then he said to me, “See, I assign to you cow's dung instead of human dung, on which you may prepare your bread.” 16 Moreover, he said to me, “Son of man, behold, I will break the supply7 of bread in Jerusalem. They shall eat bread by weight and with anxiety, and they shall drink water by measure and in dismay. 17 I will do this that they may lack bread and water, and look at one another in dismay, and rot away because of their punishment. Jerusalem Will Be Destroyed 5 “And you, O son of man, take a sharp sword. Use it as a barber's razor and pass it over your head and your beard. Then take balances for weighing and divide the hair. 2 A third part you shall burn in the fire in the midst of the city, when the days of the siege are completed. And a third part you shall take and strike with the sword all around the city. And a third part you shall scatter to the wind, and I will unsheathe the sword after them. 3 And you shall take from these a small number and bind them in the skirts of your robe. 4 And of these again you shall take some and cast them into the midst of the fire and burn them in the fire. From there a fire will come out into all the house of Israel. The Cost of Following Jesus 57 As they were going along the road, someone said to him, “I will follow you wherever you go.” 58 And Jesus said to him, “Foxes have holes, and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay his head.” 59 To another he said, “Follow me.” But he said, “Lord, let me first go and bury my father.” 60 And Jesus3 said to him, “Leave the dead to bury their own dead. But as for you, go and proclaim the kingdom of God.” 61 Yet another said, “I will follow you, Lord, but let me first say farewell to those at my home.” 62 Jesus said to him, “No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is fit for the kingdom of God.” Jesus Sends Out the Seventy-Two 10 After this the Lord appointed seventy-two4 others and sent them on ahead of him, two by two, into every town and place where he himself was about to go. 2 And he said to them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest. 3 Go your way; behold, I am sending you out as lambs in the midst of wolves. 4 Carry no moneybag, no knapsack, no sandals, and greet no one on the road. 5 Whatever house you enter, first say, ‘Peace be to this house!' 6 And if a son of peace is there, your peace will rest upon him. But if not, it will return to you. 7 And remain in the same house, eating and drinking what they provide, for the laborer deserves his wages. Do not go from house to house. 8 Whenever you enter a town and they receive you, eat what is set before you. 9 Heal the sick in it and say to them, ‘The kingdom of God has come near to you.' 10 But whenever you enter a town and they do not receive you, go into its streets and say, 11 ‘Even the dust of your town that clings to our feet we wipe off against you. Nevertheless know this, that the kingdom of God has come near.' 12 I tell you, it will be more bearable on that day for Sodom than for that town. Woe to Unrepentant Cities 13 “Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the mighty works done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago, sitting in sackcloth and ashes. 14 But it will be more bearable in the judgment for Tyre and Sidon than for you. 15 And you, Capernaum, will you be exalted to heaven? “But woe to you who are rich, for you have received your consolation. But woe to you who are filled now, for you will be hungry. Woe to you who laugh now, for you will grieve and weep. Woe to you when all speak well of you, for their ancestors treated the false prophets in this way.” Luke 6:24–26Is it dangerous to be rich, to be filled, to laugh, and to have all speak well of you? According to Jesus, it appears so. Why would Jesus warn against these things? And before that, why would He pronounce it blessed to be poor, hungry, weeping and insulted? Essentially, Jesus was condemning four common sins—greed, gluttony, intemperance, and vainglory—and promoting their opposite virtues.Poverty, in and of itself, is not sufficient for holiness. But in Luke's Gospel, Jesus declares it blessed to be poor, literally. This goes further than Matthew's Gospel which says it is blessed to be “poor in spirit.” To be poor in spirit is to be spiritually detached from the material things of this world so that you can be fully open to the riches of God. One common tendency among those with material wealth is to rationalize that even though they have many things, they are detached from them. Hopefully that is the case. However, in Luke's version of the Beatitudes, Jesus directly says, “Blessed are you who are poor” and “woe to you who are rich.” In this teaching, we discover a second blessing not found in Matthew's version. In addition to spiritual detachment (poverty of spirit) being identified as a blessing, literal poverty is proclaimed as the easier way to achieve this spiritual detachment. Material wealth, though not a sin in and of itself, brings with it many temptations toward attachment, self-reliance, and self-indulgence. Thus, spiritually speaking, it is easier to be detached when one is poor, rather than when one is rich. This is a hard truth for both the poor and the rich to accept. The poor often want to be rich, thinking that if they were, they would share their wealth with others and remain detached. The rich often enjoy being rich and believe that they are more spiritually detached than they actually are.Being “hungry” is also identified as a blessed state, whereas being “filled” is a dangerous state. When you are literally hungry, either from fasting or from lack of an abundance of food, it is easier to turn your hunger and thirst toward God so as to be filled by Him and to more easily trust in His providence. An abundance of food, especially fine food, tempts you with a gluttonous satisfaction that makes it difficult to hunger and thirst for God and His holy will in a complete way. Therefore, if you refrain from indulgence and experience hunger, you will be blessed to be free from gluttony and even the temptation toward it.“Laughing” and “weeping” in this case are not referring to joy and despair. Rather, they are referring to those who are always seeking fun and an indulgent life. Many people live for fun, entertainment, and momentary pleasures. Weeping refers to those who have discovered that the fleeting pleasures of the world can never satisfy. Constant entertainment, therefore, brings with it a real temptation, whereas the loss of that form of fleeting pleasure helps eliminate that temptation.Finally, Jesus declares it blessed to be hated, excluded, insulted, and denounced as evil on account of Him rather than being spoken well of by all. In this case, Jesus is referring to the praise that comes from things that mean nothing from an eternal perspective. When all speak well of us, praising qualities and accomplishments that are not true Christian virtues, we will be tempted to rely upon that praise for our satisfaction. But this form of satisfaction is nothing other than vainglory and never truly satisfies in the end. However, when one sees and praises the virtues of God within us, God is praised first and foremost, and we are blessed to share in God's glory.Reflect, today, upon whether you prefer to be rich, to indulge in the best of foods, to be constantly entertained and to be the envy of others, or whether you see the temptations this type of life brings. Reflect also upon the concrete spiritual blessings that come to those who are literally poor, hungry, temperate and humble. This is a very demanding teaching from Jesus. If it doesn't sit well with you, then know that it is a sign that you still have various attachments in life. Reflect, especially, upon the beatitude that is most difficult to embrace, and make that beatitude the source of reflection and prayer. Doing so with honesty and openness will result in you being among those who are truly blessed in the eyes of God. My blessed Lord, You were poor, hungry, temperate and humble to the perfect degree. For these reasons, You were filled with perfect virtue and were satisfied to the greatest degree. Please open my eyes to the deceptions of this world so that I can live with You a life of true holiness, experiencing the riches of the Kingdom of Heaven. In this week's study, I continue in Chapter 14 finishing up with 14. Before I begin I go into this study I was again go into a rant on some of the current events that affected our daily life. I talk about the elementary school that hired as drag queen as their principal, some covid news and the dark state of the new world order.The Fifth Vision "On Earth"14:6-20 The Six Angels and the Son of Man The Fifth Vision in heaven is very brief. It is another Episode, telling us of those who will have come through the great Tribulation, and have been caught up to Heaven.It is part of the larger Episode, and is parenthetical. The previous vision on Earth has told us of those who were slain because they refused to worship the Beast or receive his mark. Those who were for death, had been killed; and those who were to be kept alive, have been kept alive (13:10). The worshippers of the Beast received his mark; and those who refused to take the mark of the beast, BUT received the mark of the Lamb (Yahshua Messiah) and of His Father in their foreheads. Remember as we start this Chapter that as Christians, we have that Seal of Yahweh within us (Rev. 9:4). So keep your utmost faith in Yahweh and know His Word. Once again as we continue in this Chapter 14, we must remember that at this time there is total chaos on earth. Satan now realizes that after the resurrection of the 2 witnessess that the 7th trumpet is now blowing and the 3rd Woe is about to begin.Sickle = This is the judicial sentence of separation, which cannot by any means whatever be avoided. For we are within it, whithersoever we attempt to flee, for whatsoever is enclosed by the sickle falls within it.We have not only a sickle in his hand, but we see that there is a white cloud that the Son of Man is sitting on. Throughout the Word of Yahweh white clouds are symbolic of majestic glory.  And notice he has a golden crown on his head.  This is a stefanos crown worn by victorious generals, worn by victorious athletes, not the diadema worn by kings.  This is very important for you to understand.The prophet Daniel saw this as well in Daniel 7 and verse 13 and 14.  There we read:Dan 7:13  I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him. Dan 7:14  And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed. The difference between Yahweh's Judgment and Yahweh's WrathOne thing we must keep in mind is that the word “tribulation” used throughout the Book of Revelation and the New Testament is the Greek word “thlipsis” and it can be used to describe “trials, afflictions, persecutions, troubles and a sense of being pressed down.” It is used frequently in the New Testament for Christians persevering under trials, persecution, martyrdom and afflictions and also for the breakdown of society leading to chaos. (Matthew 24:21-22) It also describes wars, rumours of wars, famines, earthquakes and disease. (Matthew 24:7-22) Yahweh allows tribulation (thlipsis) to perfect the saints (Romans 5:3) (Acts 14:22) and to bring judgement to the spiritually wayward and wicked in order to bring them back to repentance and reconciliation with Himself. The LORD has avenged my lord the king this day on Saul and on his offspring.” 9 But David answered Rechab and Baanah his brother, the sons of Rimmon the Beerothite, “As the LORD lives, who has redeemed my life out of every adversity, 10 when one told me, ‘Behold, Saul is dead,' and thought he was bringing good news, I seized him and killed him at Ziklag, which was the reward I gave him for his news. 11 How much more, when wicked men have killed a righteous man in his own house on his bed, shall I not now require his blood at your hand and destroy you from the earth?” 12 And David commanded his young men, and they killed them and cut off their hands and feet and hanged them beside the pool at Hebron. But they took the head of Ish-bosheth and buried it in the tomb of Abner at Hebron. David Anointed King of Israel 5 Then all the tribes of Israel came to David at Hebron and said, “Behold, we are your bone and flesh. 2 In times past, when Saul was king over us, it was you who led out and brought in Israel. And the LORD said to you, ‘You shall be shepherd of my people Israel, and you shall be prince2 over Israel.'” 3 So all the elders of Israel came to the king at Hebron, and King David made a covenant with them at Hebron before the LORD, and they anointed David king over Israel. 4 David was thirty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned forty years. 5 At Hebron he reigned over Judah seven years and six months, and at Jerusalem he reigned over all Israel and Judah thirty-three years.3 6 And the king and his men went to Jerusalem against the Jebusites, the inhabitants of the land, who said to David, “You will not come in here, but the blind and the lame will ward you off”—thinking, “David cannot come in here.” 7 Nevertheless, David took the stronghold of Zion, that is, the city of David. 8 And David said on that day, “Whoever would strike the Jebusites, let him get up the water shaft to attack ‘the lame and the blind,' who are hated by David's soul.” Therefore it is said, “The blind and the lame shall not come into the house.” 9 And David lived in the stronghold and called it the city of David. And David built the city all around from the Millo inward. 10 And David became greater and greater, for the LORD, the God of hosts, was with him. 11 And Hiram king of Tyre sent messengers to David, and cedar trees, also carpenters and masons who built David a house. 12 And David knew that the LORD had established him king over Israel, and that he had exalted his kingdom for the sake of his people Israel. 13 And David took more concubines and wives from Jerusalem, after he came from Hebron, and more sons and daughters were born to David. 14 And these are the names of those who were born to him in Jerusalem: Shammua, Shobab, Nathan, Solomon, 15 Ibhar, Elishua, Nepheg, Japhia, 16 Elishama, Eliada, and Eliphelet. David Defeats the Philistines 17 When the Philistines heard that David had been anointed king over Israel, all the Philistines went up to search for David. But David heard of it and went down to the stronghold. 18 Now the Philistines had come and spread out in the Valley of Rephaim. 19 And David inquired of the LORD, “Shall I go up against the Philistines? Will you give them into my hand?” And the LORD said to David, “Go up, for I will certainly give the Philistines into your hand.” 20 And David came to Baal-perazim, and David defeated them there. And he said, “The LORD has broken through my enemies before me like a breaking flood.” Therefore the name of that place is called Baal-perazim.4 21 And the Philistines left their idols there, and David and his men carried them away. 22 And the Philistines came up yet again and spread out in the Valley of Rephaim. 23 And when David inquired of the LORD, he said, “You shall not go up; go around to their rear, and come against them opposite the balsam trees. 24 And when you hear the sound of marching in the tops of the balsam trees, then rouse yourself, for then the LORD has gone out before you to strike down the army of the Philistines.” 25 And David did as the LORD commanded him, and struck down the Philistines from Geba to Gezer. The Resurrection of the Dead 12 Now if Christ is proclaimed as raised from the dead, how can some of you say that there is no resurrection of the dead? 13 But if there is no resurrection of the dead, then not even Christ has been raised. 14 And if Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is in vain and your faith is in vain. 15 We are even found to be misrepresenting God, because we testified about God that he raised Christ, whom he did not raise if it is true that the dead are not raised. 16 For if the dead are not raised, not even Christ has been raised. 17 And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile and you are still in your sins. 18 Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished. 19 If in Christ we have hope2 in this life only, we are of all people most to be pitied. 20 But in fact Christ has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. 21 For as by a man came death, by a man has come also the resurrection of the dead. 22 For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive. 23 But each in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, then at his coming those who belong to Christ. 24 Then comes the end, when he delivers the kingdom to God the Father after destroying every rule and every authority and power. 25 For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet. 26 The last enemy to be destroyed is death. 27 For “God3 has put all things in subjection under his feet.” But when it says, “all things are put in subjection,” it is plain that he is excepted who put all things in subjection under him. 28 When all things are subjected to him, then the Son himself will also be subjected to him who put all things in subjection under him, that God may be all in all. 29 Otherwise, what do people mean by being baptized on behalf of the dead? If the dead are not raised at all, why are people baptized on their behalf? 30 Why are we in danger every hour? 31 I protest, brothers, by my pride in you, which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die every day! 32 What do I gain if, humanly speaking, I fought with beasts at Ephesus? If the dead are not raised, “Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die.” 33 Do not be deceived: “Bad company ruins good morals.”4 34 Wake up from your drunken stupor, as is right, and do not go on sinning. For some have no knowledge of God. I say this to your shame. The Resurrection Body 35 But someone will ask, “How are the dead raised? With what kind of body do they come?” 36 You foolish person! What you sow does not come to life unless it dies. 37 And what you sow is not the body that is to be, but a bare kernel, perhaps of wheat or of some other grain. 38 But God gives it a body as he has chosen, and to each kind of seed its own body. 39 For not all flesh is the same, but there is one kind for humans, another for animals, another for birds, and another for fish. 40 There are heavenly bodies and earthly bodies, but the glory of the heavenly is of one kind, and the glory of the earthly is of another. 41 There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars; for star differs from star in glory. 42 So is it with the resurrection of the dead. What is sown is perishable; what is raised is imperishable. 43 It is sown in dishonor; it is raised in glory. It is sown in weakness; it is raised in power. 44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body. 45 Thus it is written, “The first man Adam became a living being”;5 the last Adam became a life-giving spirit. 46 But it is not the spiritual that is first but the natural, and then the spiritual. 47 The first man was from the earth, a man of dust; the second man is from heaven. 48 As was the man of dust, so also are those who are of the dust, and as is the man of heaven, so also are those who are of heaven. 49 Just as we have borne the image of the man of dust, we shall6 also bear the image of the man of heaven. Mystery and Victory 50 I tell you this, brothers: flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. 51 Behold! I tell you a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed. 53 For this perishable body must put on the imperishable, and this mortal body must put on immortality. 54 When the perishable puts on the imperishable, and the mortal puts on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written:   “Death is swallowed up in victory.”55   “O death, where is your victory?    O death, where is your sting?” 56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 58 Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain. Psalms and Wisdom: Psalm 37 Psalm 37 (Listen) He Will Not Forsake His Saints 1 Of David. 37   Fret not yourself because of evildoers;    be not envious of wrongdoers!2   For they will soon fade like the grass    and wither like the green herb. 3   Trust in the LORD, and do good;    dwell in the land and befriend faithfulness.24   Delight yourself in the LORD,    and he will give you the desires of your heart. 5   Commit your way to the LORD;    trust in him, and he will act.6   He will bring forth your righteousness as the light,    and your justice as the noonday. 7   Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him;    fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his way,    over the man who carries out evil devices! 8   Refrain from anger, and forsake wrath!    Fret not yourself; it tends only to evil.9   For the evildoers shall be cut off,    but those who wait for the LORD shall inherit the land. 10   In just a little while, the wicked will be no more;    though you look carefully at his place, he will not be there.11   But the meek shall inherit the land    and delight themselves in abundant peace. 12   The wicked plots against the righteous    and gnashes his teeth at him,13   but the Lord laughs at the wicked,    for he sees that his day is coming. 14   The wicked draw the sword and bend their bows    to bring down the poor and needy,    to slay those whose way is upright;15   their sword shall enter their own heart,    and their bows shall be broken. 16   Better is the little that the righteous has    than the abundance of many wicked.17   For the arms of the wicked shall be broken,    but the LORD upholds the righteous. 18   The LORD knows the days of the blameless,    and their heritage will remain forever;19   they are not put to shame in evil times;    in the days of famine they have abundance. 20   But the wicked will perish;    the enemies of the LORD are like the glory of the pastures;    they vanish—like smoke they vanish away. 21   The wicked borrows but does not pay back,    but the righteous is generous and gives;22   for those blessed by the LORD3 shall inherit the land,    but those cursed by him shall be cut off. 23   The steps of a man are established by the LORD,    when he delights in his way;24   though he fall, he shall not be cast headlong,    for the LORD upholds his hand. 25   I have been young, and now am old,    yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken    or his children begging for bread.26   He is ever lending generously,    and his children become a blessing. 27   Turn away from evil and do good;    so shall you dwell forever.28   For the LORD loves justice;    he will not forsake his saints.  They are preserved forever,    but the children of the wicked shall be cut off.29   The righteous shall inherit the land    and dwell upon it forever. 30   The mouth of the righteous utters wisdom,    and his tongue speaks justice.31   The law of his God is in his heart;    his steps do not slip. 32   The wicked watches for the righteous    and seeks to put him to death.33   The LORD will not abandon him to his power    or let him be condemned when he is brought to trial. 34   Wait for the LORD and keep his way,    and he will exalt you to inherit the land;    you will look on when the wicked are cut off. 35   I have seen a wicked, ruthless man,    spreading himself like a green laurel tree.436   But he passed away,5 and behold, he was no more;    though I sought him, he could not be found. 37   Mark the blameless and behold the upright,    for there is a future for the man of peace.38   But transgressors shall be altogether destroyed;    the future of the wicked shall be cut off. 39   The salvation of the righteous is from the LORD;    he is their stronghold in the time of trouble.40   The LORD helps them and delivers them;    he delivers them from the wicked and saves them,    because they take refuge in him. And they came to the woman by night. And he said, “Divine for me by a spirit and bring up for me whomever I shall name to you.” 9 The woman said to him, “Surely you know what Saul has done, how he has cut off the mediums and the necromancers from the land. Why then are you laying a trap for my life to bring about my death?” 10 But Saul swore to her by the LORD, “As the LORD lives, no punishment shall come upon you for this thing.” 11 Then the woman said, “Whom shall I bring up for you?” He said, “Bring up Samuel for me.” 12 When the woman saw Samuel, she cried out with a loud voice. And the woman said to Saul, “Why have you deceived me? You are Saul.” 13 The king said to her, “Do not be afraid. What do you see?” And the woman said to Saul, “I see a god coming up out of the earth.” 14 He said to her, “What is his appearance?” And she said, “An old man is coming up, and he is wrapped in a robe.” And Saul knew that it was Samuel, and he bowed with his face to the ground and paid homage. 15 Then Samuel said to Saul, “Why have you disturbed me by bringing me up?” Saul answered, “I am in great distress, for the Philistines are warring against me, and God has turned away from me and answers me no more, either by prophets or by dreams. Therefore I have summoned you to tell me what I shall do.” 16 And Samuel said, “Why then do you ask me, since the LORD has turned from you and become your enemy? 17 The LORD has done to you as he spoke by me, for the LORD has torn the kingdom out of your hand and given it to your neighbor, David. 18 Because you did not obey the voice of the LORD and did not carry out his fierce wrath against Amalek, therefore the LORD has done this thing to you this day. 19 Moreover, the LORD will give Israel also with you into the hand of the Philistines, and tomorrow you and your sons shall be with me. The LORD will give the army of Israel also into the hand of the Philistines.” 20 Then Saul fell at once full length on the ground, filled with fear because of the words of Samuel. And there was no strength in him, for he had eaten nothing all day and all night. 21 And the woman came to Saul, and when she saw that he was terrified, she said to him, “Behold, your servant has obeyed you. I have taken my life in my hand and have listened to what you have said to me. 22 Now therefore, you also obey your servant. Let me set a morsel of bread before you; and eat, that you may have strength when you go on your way.” 23 He refused and said, “I will not eat.” But his servants, together with the woman, urged him, and he listened to their words. So he arose from the earth and sat on the bed. 24 Now the woman had a fattened calf in the house, and she quickly killed it, and she took flour and kneaded it and baked unleavened bread of it, 25 and she put it before Saul and his servants, and they ate. (ESV) Chronicles and Prophets: Daniel 9 Daniel 9 (Listen) Daniel's Prayer for His People 9 In the first year of Darius the son of Ahasuerus, by descent a Mede, who was made king over the realm of the Chaldeans—2 in the first year of his reign, I, Daniel, perceived in the books the number of years that, according to the word of the LORD to Jeremiah the prophet, must pass before the end of the desolations of Jerusalem, namely, seventy years. 3 Then I turned my face to the Lord God, seeking him by prayer and pleas for mercy with fasting and sackcloth and ashes. 4 I prayed to the LORD my God and made confession, saying, “O Lord, the great and awesome God, who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments, 5 we have sinned and done wrong and acted wickedly and rebelled, turning aside from your commandments and rules. 6 We have not listened to your servants the prophets, who spoke in your name to our kings, our princes, and our fathers, and to all the people of the land. 7 To you, O Lord, belongs righteousness, but to us open shame, as at this day, to the men of Judah, to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and to all Israel, those who are near and those who are far away, in all the lands to which you have driven them, because of the treachery that they have committed against you. 8 To us, O LORD, belongs open shame, to our kings, to our princes, and to our fathers, because we have sinned against you. 9 To the Lord our God belong mercy and forgiveness, for we have rebelled against him 10 and have not obeyed the voice of the LORD our God by walking in his laws, which he set before us by his servants the prophets. 11 All Israel has transgressed your law and turned aside, refusing to obey your voice. And the curse and oath that are written in the Law of Moses the servant of God have been poured out upon us, because we have sinned against him. 12 He has confirmed his words, which he spoke against us and against our rulers who ruled us,1 by bringing upon us a great calamity. For under the whole heaven there has not been done anything like what has been done against Jerusalem. 13 As it is written in the Law of Moses, all this calamity has come upon us; yet we have not entreated the favor of the LORD our God, turning from our iniquities and gaining insight by your truth. 14 Therefore the LORD has kept ready the calamity and has brought it upon us, for the LORD our God is righteous in all the works that he has done, and we have not obeyed his voice. 15 And now, O Lord our God, who brought your people out of the land of Egypt with a mighty hand, and have made a name for yourself, as at this day, we have sinned, we have done wickedly. 16 “O Lord, according to all your righteous acts, let your anger and your wrath turn away from your city Jerusalem, your holy hill, because for our sins, and for the iniquities of our fathers, Jerusalem and your people have become a byword among all who are around us. 17 Now therefore, O our God, listen to the prayer of your servant and to his pleas for mercy, and for your own sake, O Lord,2 make your face to shine upon your sanctuary, which is desolate. 18 O my God, incline your ear and hear. Open your eyes and see our desolations, and the city that is called by your name. For we do not present our pleas before you because of our righteousness, but because of your great mercy. 19 O Lord, hear; O Lord, forgive. O Lord, pay attention and act. Delay not, for your own sake, O my God, because your city and your people are called by your name.” Gabriel Brings an Answer 20 While I was speaking and praying, confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my plea before the LORD my God for the holy hill of my God, 21 while I was speaking in prayer, the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the first, came to me in swift flight at the time of the evening sacrifice. 22 He made me understand, speaking with me and saying, “O Daniel, I have now come out to give you insight and understanding. 23 At the beginning of your pleas for mercy a word went out, and I have come to tell it to you, for you are greatly loved. Therefore consider the word and understand the vision. The Seventy Weeks 24 “Seventy weeks3 are decreed about your people and your holy city, to finish the transgression, to put an end to sin, and to atone for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal both vision and prophet, and to anoint a most holy place.4 25 Know therefore and understand that from the going out of the word to restore and build Jerusalem to the coming of an anointed one, a prince, there shall be seven weeks. Then for sixty-two weeks it shall be built again5 with squares and moat, but in a troubled time. 26 And after the sixty-two weeks, an anointed one shall be cut off and shall have nothing. And the people of the prince who is to come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. Its6 end shall come with a flood, and to the end there shall be war. Desolations are decreed. 27 And he shall make a strong covenant with many for one week,7 and for half of the week he shall put an end to sacrifice and offering. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you.” 39 He also told them a parable: “Can a blind man lead a blind man? Will they not both fall into a pit? 40 A disciple is not above his teacher, but everyone when he is fully trained will be like his teacher. 41 Why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? 42 How can you say to your brother, ‘Brother, let me take out the speck that is in your eye,' when you yourself do not see the log that is in your own eye?
