Pilgrimage is pretty attractive when the trail is well marked, the weather is fine and there's a comfortable bed and good food waiting for you at the end of the day. But what about when the wheels fall off? When God seems distant or absent? When what used to make sense doesn't anymore? Join us this week as our pastor Vic Francis kicks off our term 3 series Why, God? as we look at negotiating the tough times that are inevitable for all of us.

What does it mean to be connected? In this episode Senior Pastor Vic Francis explores The Glory of Connection - that elusive but magnificent convergence that happens sometimes as people do life and faith together.

It's easy to get caught up and consumed in the immediacy of our day-to-day life and forget the bigger picture of what's going on in the world around us. For that reason we appreciate the opportunity we have together on Sundays to be reminded about a much bigger perspective of our lives, a much larger picture of our world and a more expansive reality of what God is up to. This Sunday Tim Wood is sharing around this idea as he explores the difficult, liberating, counter-cultural and counter-intuitive nature of the “Unfortunate News" that Jesus offers us.

There are certain truths we need to be reminded of regularly. This week Paulina Kidd shares on one of them in her message on the "Peace of God." we are confident this will be be timely and relevant for all in the complexity and business of life.

This week we continue our series “On the Road” with a special guest, Dale Campbell. Dale is an Education Specialist for Tearfund NZ, and he produces The Justice Conference in Aotearoa. His message will explore Jesus' telling of the story of the Good Samaritan from Luke 10:25-37, observing not only how the Samaritan applied all he had, but also how he enlarged the sphere of care beyond himself.
