Revelation is the book people fight over most, but God never ment for it to be that way. Revelation wasn't written to frighten us; it was written to steady us for times just like we see in the news today.

Why do people regularly frequent the neighborhood bar? It has to be more than the alcohol, they could drink at home. Something else is going on here and the church should learn the lesson from the neighborhood bar.

It's both shocking and sad how many people just don't read anymore. Sad because reading is one of the best ways to grow as a person and develop the character that will love better and deeper.

You can't change the past and you can't control the future. The only time we have is PRESENT time and that's where we are called to live and love.

Every grumpy person has a story you don't fully understand. What if you did some frog kissing today?

How do you know what God's will is for your life? In the Old Testament, one way was for the High Priest to "roll the dice." But God has a better way today.

It's easy to fall into the trap of thinking everyone should be just like us! But God made a Body NOT a Factory. Be thankful for the diversity in the church. We need all the gifts, personalities and vision. As messy as that might be, it's His plan for His family.

We speak thousands of words every day. Only a few are significant and life transforming. Jesus spoke one word every day and it formed His life. It can form ours too.

Sometimes a little inside information can change how we see the world and interact with others. Never should have be more true than with followers of Jesus.

Does the ancient story of the tower of Babel have anything to teach us about our own tower building today?

We've all said and been asked the question: "Do I know you?" But what do we mean by "know?" And what does the Bible mean by "know?" I'd like to know, ya know?

The world is changing and so if the view of the church? In a hostile world, does the church have a future?

It's easy to put "faith" in the intellectual not actual box. It's something we think in our hearts, but has little to do with how we live day to day. There's a book in the Bible that won't let us get away with that stinkin' thinkin'.

We don't have to GUESS what God is saying, we know, because He speaks. The question is, are we listening and will we respond?

We've ALL thought the world has gone crazy at times, maybe even in THIS time. BUT we aren't the first to think that. So let's let an old holy man teach us a thing or two about what to do when that feeling wells up inside us.

What do you do when your critics are croaking at your and their noise drowns out all others?

Ohhh how we LOVE Jesus as Savior...but what about Jesus as LORD? I think most Christians just settle for Jesus being "house help."

Have you ever been happy in life, content, at peace--UNTIL you saw what someone else has? We've all been there, done that, and bought the T-shirt. What if, instead, we learned to be happy with one scoop?
