There's going to be a future version of you...the question is, what will the future you be like? The good news is God is not waiting for the future version of you to love AND YOU have a BIG say in what the future version of you will be!

You and I ONLY have today!  Tomorrow (at least in this life) may never come.  Isn't it time we started living like a vapor?

What's the difference between having close friends and playing favorites?  Does God have favorites?  And the next question is...do you?

Have you ever struggled with prayer?  I think we all have.  Today, let me give you a tool to help.  It's solid and it's been right under our noses the whole time?

It's not Jesus and me, it's Jesus and WE!  God created a community.  Today I tell the story of one of the most meaningful and beautiful community experiences of which I've ever taken part.

We all give--time, expertise, money, things and more.  But giving can be different.  How you ask?  Well, it's deep!

Is it every okay with God to break the law?  Isn't law breaking a sin?  Or our there times when NOT breaking the law would be the greater sin?  Let's talk.

ME BY MYSELF!  That's the American way, but is it the JESUS Way?  The truth is you are absolutely NOT self-sufficient and you never were and THAT's OKAY!

Views are valuable.  That's often why we go on vacation or build our houses in a certain spot.  But what is the view you love the most?  Let me tell you mine!

Is one sin just as bad as another?  Does Jesus elevate one sin over others?  Should we?

Oh the thoughts we allow to come into our minds.  How can we be transformed by the renewing of our minds when our minds don't seem to want to cooperate? How do we MIND OUR MINDS?

Not everyone is going to agree with the choices you make as a Christian.  So what do we do and when does it mean our actions are harming their faith?

What do you do when people disagree with you?  To you lash back or simply back away?  There's a better Jesus way.  Let's talk.

How do you know if it's God speaking to your heart, of just your own thoughts?  Are there ways to know?  Let's talk.

We ALL have voices in our heads--we're constantly talking, arguing, and convincing ourselves about any and everything.  The problem is many times those voices aren't helpful, truthful, of hopeful.  What voices are you allowing to rent space inside your head?

David is called a man after God's own heart, by God Himself.  But how can that be?  David was a murderer and an adulterer.  The answer may just give all of us hope!

You're in the presence of someone who is arrogant, a know-it-all.  They are talking foolishness.  Do you answer them or not?

Last names are very important to us.  But did people in the Bible have them?  If not, how did then know one John from another?

The rudeness level today is off the charts and it's everywhere.  My brothers and sisters, for followers of Jesus....this ought not be so!

We've all heard that phrase, but is it in the Bible?  And is it true?  If not, why not?

When you're on alert for something: a new baby coming, an important call, a delivery whatever...it changes how you navigate life.  What about being ON ALERT for the coming of Jesus?

Here's the truth...we're all contagious with something.  The question is, are we contagious with the things of Christ?

No matter how "good" or "bad" our past days have been--they are over.  Learn but not live there.  Move with God into the future by living in the present.  God is doing something new and he wants YOU to be part of it.  You'll miss it, if you're stuck in yesterday.

How do you know what kind of person the future you will be like?  Well...show me your friends, and I'll show you your future!

IF the New Testament has been changed over the years so that we have no idea what the original authors wrote, that would be a BIG problem for Christianity.  The Good New is the NT is totally trustworthy and WE CAN PROVE IT!

What do you think of when you hear the word "holiness?"  You're probably right, but there's also more.  Let's go deeper.

You can be the person that causes another to leave the conversation feeling blessed, loved, seen, heard.  And it's all because of your wonderful, welcoming words!

Oh the pain of saying something you immediately regret, but....you can't take it back!

What is a "doxology" and how can we declare one today?

Modern Christianity is WAY to individualized.  Jesus never meant for us to do this alone.  He didn't just save individuals, he created A FAMILY!

You are NOT alone.  Others HAVE been where you are and they made it...you can too!

"When were you saved?" That's a common question among Christians, but that's not how the Bible talks about salvation.  Listen in!

Bible "heroes" are not really "heroes."  They are fallen people in need of grace just like us.  THEY aren't the point of the story--but they point us to the One who is.

Everyone wants to focus on the BIG EXTERNAL sins.  But what if the greatest danger to our soul is really the silent soul killers?

The Bible becomes MUCH more enjoyable and understandable when you realize it's less like an instruction manual and more like a library!

Those we love have the power to hurt us the deepest.  But are there wounds from a friend we should welcome, cherish, even be thankful for.  YES!  Listen in!

Bitterness is a joy killer and love stopper, and a soul destroyer.  And there's only ONE cure.

You may feel unseen, unknown, unappreciated.  But GOD sees, knows, and will bless you for every ask of love you give, even if no one notices.

We all need to learn and practice the difference between "helping" and "enabling."  It's crucial to loving others well.  Sometimes helping is NOT helping!

Sometimes you meet a "Christian" and you think "Really?"  Other times you meet a Christian and you think "I KNEW it!"  The difference is closing the gap.

Class distinction is alive and well in airplane travel, but it should not be in the Kingdom of God.
