Woodlands Winners "Cheers and Beers" It was another strong week for Woodlands Stud NZ and its stallions, with winners on the big stage and several notable victories as well. Smack Bang Bart and Courtney Barton are about to head off for the Benstud Standardbreds Protostar at The Creek. I caught up with Courtney to see how he has recovered after the pair combined to take out the Alabar Farms Nutrien Equine - Standardbred 2YO Classic at Riverina Paceway. It was also great to learn more about her passion for the industry.

Pink Diamond Night is on this Friday at Bendigo Greyhounds . I caught up with James Vogel to find out what the club has planned. There'll be great racing on the track and plenty of action off it, with some very novel activities planned.

Lovetobeuptome returned to the racetrack in superb form, winning the Swift Signs 3YO at Melton Entertainment Park . I caught up with Josh Duggan after the win.

It's always great to catch up with Jennifer Douglas, and I had the opportunity to do so after the win of Mitchell Wrap tonight at Melton Entertainment Park .

That was impressive. I Am Wilma won the Prydes Easifeeds Trot tonight at Melton Entertainment Park . I caught up with co-trainer Sonia Maher after the 1:55.9 mile-rate win to see what's next for the four-year-old mare, possibly even a trip to The Creek

At Riverina Paceway for the Nutrien Equine - Standardbred Race Series 5, I caught up with James Locke, who last Sunday received the TAB Kevin Newman Award for Driving Excellence at the 2025 Gallagher Harness Racing NSW Annual Awards.   James was voted by the public for the best drive of the season following his win with Megs Monaro at Leeton on July 7, 2025.
