Keeping diaries has never really been my thing growing up because the fear of someone getting to know ALL my struggles and secrets was crippling... But I’ve come to realize that as young Christians, we encounter a lot of similar struggles in our walk with God that we don’t talk about. And that is all this podcast is... a DIARY... between you, me & of course the HolySpirit having that awkward conversation and hopefully figuring it out... Trust me, it doesn’t get more intimate than this.
…and that end is Jesus. He uses many different means to draw people to us, but we're never the end goal, He is. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/jesuskid/message

Funny story: I was thinking about Solomon and how his messy marital situation strengthens my belief that the Bible is God-breathed and just as I wanted to record something about it, I remembered an audio recording from June last year saying the same thing, and I think you might want to hear it too, so here it is… --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/jesuskid/message
Loving God shouldn't be hard but sometimes it feels that way. On this one we talk about why loving God should be easy and how to rekindle the flame of our first love. Hope you enjoy listening!! --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/jesuskid/message
To hear God's voice continuously and consistently, we must create a conducive atmosphere because the truth is, He's always speaking but if you're surrounded with so much "noise", it'll be hard to hear Him. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/jesuskid/message
There's a temptation to feel like your salvation testimony is not that great because you 'grew up in church', but that testimony is one that speaks of the preservation of God and that's something worth rejoicing about!! - Don't forget to share with someone if you enjoyed this one :) --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/jesuskid/message

Jesus often used plants to teach many spiritual truths to His followers & John 15:1-8 in particular is a beautiful representation of the intimate relationship that exists between Christ and His church. Many of the promises of God listed in the Bible are conditional. This is not to push us into a legalistic way of life, but it's to help us understand God's boundaries. Yes, He loves the whole world but it's the one who believes that will be saved. Very often we tend to ignore the condition and just pray the blessing but that really has to change… --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/jesuskid/message
If you truly think about it, everything, and I mean everything, about the Christian faith is weird. The quicker we can accept the fact that we are not like the world and will never be, the faster we can get to changing the world. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/jesuskid/message
I know how sensitive the topic of grief is. I don't like to talk about it. I also know what grieving alone can do to someone. In Isaiah 53:3-4 we're introduced to a man of sorrows, familiar with deepest griefs. Sometime in August while reading that I was led to record this voice note to remind myself in the time of grief that I can never be alone no matter how lonely it is and now I'm putting it here for the one who is grieving a loss or knows someone grieving a loss. I pray your eyes are opened to see El-Roi, the man of sorrows, in the middle. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/jesuskid/message
I used to think being secure and sure of my salvation and eternal destination was some unachievable feat but now I've realized that it's God's will for me to be confident in my salvation. good news: we're back! again! This time let's talk about the role of works in our salvation because if we're not saved by our 'good works' then why bother? What's the point? Why does James say faith without works is dead? Isn't that a contradiction? Hmmm let's talk about it! --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/jesuskid/message
Grace is not license to sin, if anything it's license not to sin. God's stance towards sin hasn't changed and so the fact that He forgives doesn't mean we get a go ahead to do whatever we like so yeah, let's talk about that! --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/jesuskid/message
There's a side of us we'd rather keep to ourselves. The part where we struggle. No one wants to be seen as that person who doesn't have it all together, but the truth is I don't. I'm in need of this Jesus that I talk about as much as you. I'm learning now that the reason why I can connect to a lot of the characters in the Bible is because they were vulnerable enough to write down their struggles so I know I'm not alone. So this is me, trying to be obedient to share a recording I made for myself about a struggle of mine & how to deal with it. [I didn't edit it or plan to say anything I said because that's what diaries are for after all and that's what this is supposed to be]. So if you struggle with this too, please listen to the end, lots of clarity there ! --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/jesuskid/message
Jesus commands His disciples in Mark 16:15 to preach the gospel to all the world, but what exactly is the gospel? That's the question we'll be answering today, so take this as one big story time about how God became flesh just to save us from our flesh. "It's not good news, it's the best news ever" . If there's one thing about the power of God, it's that it was never intended to make sense to the logical mind. Yet all the several examples displaying the power of God in the Bible pale in comparison to the ultimate display of God's power in His plan of salvation and that's exactly why Paul was unashamed of the gospel… --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/jesuskid/message
I can bet that almost everyone that has ever come in contact with the Bible knows what happened in Genesis 1 & 2. But as cliché as it may sound, there's absolutely nothing common about the creation story, particularly the creation of mankind. Unlike the evolutionary theory, the account of creation shows how much thought and intentional planning went into making you & I. Understanding this, changes everything… --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/jesuskid/message

There's a thin line between building your life around Christ and building your life on Christ. It's okay for everyone not to like you or what you stand for. In fact, as a believer, being hated by the world is in our DNA and I know this might be really difficult to accept (cause I've been there).
