Anger isn't always the problem; what we do with it is. In this message, Pastor Joon shares what God's Word teaches about handling anger in a healthy, biblical way. Instead of suppressing our anger or letting it control us, we're called to surrender it to God, slow down before reacting, and examine whether our anger is producing healing or causing damage. How One Family Supported Their Son Through Severe Emotional Struggles, Developmental Challenges, and a Powerful Recovery JourneyThis week on the Natural Super Kids Podcast, we're sharing an incredibly raw and emotional conversation with mum Casey about her son Ashton's journey through severe behavioural challenges, mental health struggles, sleep issues, ADHD, anxiety and overwhelming family stress, and how things slowly began to change. We speak with Casey about the years where Ashton's aggression, emotional dysregulation, self-harm and physical health issues left the whole family in survival mode and how a combination of holistic health support, gut health interventions, psychological care and community support helped Ashton find his way back to himself. In this episode, we explore:How Ashton's sudden changes in behaviour, aggression, emotional outbursts and school struggles led to multiple diagnoses including ADHD, anxiety, depression and pathological demand avoidanceThe hidden physical health issues contributing to his mental and emotional state, including severe sleep deprivation, gut dysfunction and poor nutrient absorptionHow microbiome testing, targeted supplements, dietary changes and nervous system support helped improve Ashton's sleep, mood, emotional regulation and energyWhy community support, trusting parental instincts and taking small consistent steps can make such a powerful difference for families navigating complex challenges
If your teen explodes over homework, screens, chores, tone of voice, or being told no, it can feel like you are living with constant tension. Teen anger issues are one of the most common concerns parents bring into coaching. In this episode, Tess explains why teen anger is often a signal, not the real problem. You'll learn what is happening in the teen brain, why lectures usually fail during emotional escalation, and how to respond without becoming permissive or reactive. You'll walk away with practical scripts for angry moments, a simple anger plan to use with your teen, and a calmer way to hold boundaries while protecting your relationship.Share this episode with a parent who is navigating teen anger at home. Today on the show I'm joined by Melissa who is calling in to get help dealing with her anger issues. She's noticing that her anger outbursts are getting less controlled, and has noticed losing her temper in the car as well as in public – at the bank, for example. She's not sure where these patterns of anger have come from, and she feels like she's tried everything to try and break free from her anger with no success. We process what her anger means, what emotions it represents, and then we look for trigger patterns to trace what may be the underlying root of her anger issues. We make some serious progress in this session, as I help her track the underlying issue that's been holding her back. If you struggle with anger, listen to this episode and start putting the pieces together in your own life so that you can respond to the signal of anger instead of simply reacting to it. New Episode- Unresolved Anger Issues- We've all been there, smiling on the outside while something is burning on the inside. In this episode, we're pulling back the curtain on one of the most misunderstood emotions in the Black community: anger. Not the outburst kind. The quiet, buried, years-deep kind that nobody ever taught us how to deal with.We talk about what unresolved anger really looks like — because it doesn't always look like rage. Sometimes it looks like distance. Sometimes it looks like control. Sometimes it looks like shutting down every time someone gets too close. We get into where it comes from, why so many of us were taught to suppress it instead of process it, and what happens to our bodies, our relationships, and our faith when we keep choosing to hold it in instead of letting God in.#unresolvedanger #LetsChitChatSupport the show

In this episode of Finding Freedom, host John Odermatt sits down with Jeremy Stalnecker, former US Marine Corps infantry officer, combat veteran, and executive director of Mighty Oaks Foundation. Jeremy shares his journey from leading Marines during the 2003 invasion of Iraq to struggling with identity loss after leaving the military, and ultimately finding purpose through faith-based veteran support work. The conversation explores how military service creates a deeply ingrained identity that can leave veterans lost when they transition to civilian life, often leading to anger, isolation, and even suicidal thoughts. Jeremy explains how Mighty Oaks Foundation addresses the root cause—identity crisis—rather than just treating symptoms, helping over 7,000 veterans, first responders, and their spouses rebuild their lives on a foundation of faith and purpose. The discussion covers leadership principles from Jeremy's book "Leadership by Design," emphasizing that true leadership is about serving others and helping them reach their potential, not about rank or authority. Jeremy advocates for a holistic approach to veteran care that combines clinical therapies with spiritual foundation, arguing that without clarity on identity and purpose, other interventions fall short. The episode concludes with information on how Mighty Oaks provides free five-day programs and ongoing aftercare to help those struggling with post-traumatic stress and transition challenges. In this episode, we have an honest conversation about living with anger — not just momentary frustration, but the kind of anger that's been present for years. We talk about growing up angry, how it can feel inherited or passed down, and the struggle of wanting to get it under control when it's been such a constant part of who you are. The discussion gets real as we unpack a story where being the aggressor felt instinctive when conflict arose, forcing us to examine how anger often shows up first in tense moments. We then close with another story that complicates the conversation even more — a moment where being the aggressor felt necessary when someone approached our wife. This episode explores the complicated balance between anger management, emotional discipline, protection, and restraint, especially for men navigating leadership, marriage, and masculinity.
On this Walking in the Shadows the Cult Edition episode, we get straight into poltergeists — where the word comes from, how the phenomenon has been recorded through history, and why certain patterns keep repeating no matter the location. We break down the different types of poltergeist activity, then bring it closer to home with well known cases from Australia and New Zealand that don't get talked about enough. From objects moving without explanation to long term household disturbances, we also share our own experiences and what they've taught us about how poltergeist activity actually shows up in real life — not the Hollywood version, but the messy, unsettling, and often misunderstood reality.〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰

A Parenting Resource for Children’s Behavior and Mental Health
A common notion as regards anger is that it is a deliberate act of defiance or a lack of respect, but in reality, it is often a sign of nervous system dysregulation. When children become angry, they are not necessarily choosing to misbehave; rather, they are struggling with overwhelming emotions they have not yet learned to regulate. Understanding anger through this lens allows us to respond with empathy rather than frustration, helping children develop healthier ways to process their emotions.Instead of resorting to yelling or punishment, which can heighten dysregulation, there are more effective ways to support an angry child. With the right tools, we can help them process their emotions in a way that builds self-regulation and resilience. In this episode, we'll explore practical strategies to redirect anger, foster emotional growth, and break the cycle of frustration. By shifting our approach, we can teach children lifelong coping skills that help them manage big emotions in a healthy way.Not sure where to start? Maggie Goodlander learned at a town hall this week -- or from their fellow members of the New Hampshire legislature. Just ask progressive Rep. Jonah Wheeler (D-Peterborough).All that anger is going to have an impact on the 2026 campaigns. The big question is who will be running? Goodlander? Rep. Chris Pappas? Former Gov. Chris Sununu?Plenty of rank punditry from your host, NHJournal Managing Editor Michael Graham. And then William Jacobson with Legal Insurrection joins the conversation to talk about the civil rights complaint he filed regarding UNH's participation in a race-based faculty benefits program. (Cameo appearance by NHJournal reporter Damien Fisher!)All made possible with help from Perfect Smiles of Nashua.
