Part 3 goes straight into the messiest debate in the hobby right now: card “work” that gets cards into PSA slabs, then quietly back onto the market. A Facebook thread shows collectors openly soaking and pressing Gretzky rookies using Kurt's Card Care, talking about submitting to PSA, and selling afterward. We walk through why that should scare buyers, even when the card ends up in a straight numeric holder. Then we address a comment that tried to lump Mr Minty into the same bucket. We draw a hard line between inspection tools that help you see a card more clearly and products or processes that change the card itself. The distinction matters, and confusing it muddies the conversation. The real core of this segment is the question behind the episode title: are all PSA cards truly the same if the label says the same number? We debate grade worship vs card worship, provenance, disclosure, whether experienced collectors can spot things graders miss, and what happens when the “fix” literally does not last. Where's your line? Microfiber wipe is fine, but what crosses it for you? Would you pay less for a slabbed card if you knew it was soaked or pressed, even if it is a “9”? If PSA offered a clearly labeled “altered” holder, would you want that market to exist or be banned outright? Subscribe for Part 4 and Part 5 as Episode 300 keeps building. He also talks with the one and only Sage Cattabriga-Alosa to get his perspective as an athlete who's been involved with this series for its entire run — including how he went from hitting backcountry booters in the baggiest clothes he could find, to summiting high-altitude peaks in the most technical gear on the market.RELATED LINKS:Episode Sponsor: SnowbirdEpisode Sponsor: OpenSnowEnter Our Weekly Gear GiveawaysOur Blister Recommended ShopsJoin Us At Blister Summit 2026For BLISTER+ Members: Discounted Blister Summit RegistrationGet Yourself Covered with BLISTER+CHECK OUT OUR YOUTUBE CHANNELS:Blister Studios (our new channel)Blister Review (our original channel)TOPICS & TIMES:OpenSnow (2:09)Snowbird (4:25)Weekly Gear Giveaway (6:03)Sage's History w/ The North Face (7:10)Sage's Ah-Ha Moments w/ Apparel (23:00)Layering Evolution (36:30)Sage's Standout Products (40:56)Cory Olson's Role at The North Face (49:52)Historic and Throwback Pieces (54:14)Standouts Materials (56:36)Athlete Feedback & Design Impact (1:01:11)PFAS-Free Apparel: Present & Future (1:05:19)Care & Washing (1:10:20)Himalayan Suit (1:18:58)Summit Series x Streetwear (1:23:30)Future Projects (1:32:01)CHECK OUT OUR OTHER PODCASTS:Blister CinematicCRAFTEDBikes & Big IdeasBlister Podcast Hosted on Acast. CPP is starting off 2026 pretty strong with the Lovely and Talented Wayne Russell from the OMP Podcast co-hosting with Jacques and they had a fantastic chat with Comedian, Booker, Show Runner … Former Semi Pro Football Player and (Real Football) Soccer Ref, Mr. Mike Smith. Don't want to leave out Mike's also a long-time journalist and high school math teacher and a proud husband and proud dad of two grown daughters. Yeah … all that and he's a really nice guy who makes sure he's shows are always beyond top notch BUT still makes room for the folks just starting out. Eye washing with preservative-free sterile saline removes pollen from the eye surface, easing itching, tearing, and redness throughout the allergy season People who wash their eyes experience steadier symptom control, more symptom-free days, and better daily comfort compared to those who do not Younger allergy sufferers use eyewash more often than older adults, reflecting higher exposure to digital health guidance and quicker adoption of simple self-care habits Lifestyle factors such as short sleep, smoking, higher stress, and contact lens use increase the likelihood of turning to eyewash for relief Supporting your body with vitamin C, quercetin, whole foods, quality sleep, and stress reduction lowers histamine load and strengthens your defenses against seasonal allergies

Why have so many hand car wash services replaced automatic machines? It has to do with immigration policies and there are implications for Australia's productivity which is among the worst in the developed world. Economists insist boosting productivity is the only way to improve our living standards, but could delivering higher wages first actually help to fix the problem?Today, chief business correspondent Ian Verrender on the key factors left off the agenda at the economic round table in Canberra - population and property. When Joseph and Mary had done everything required by the Law of the Lord, they returned to Galilee to their own town of Nazareth. — Luke 2:39 I like to have the Christmas season continue as long as possible. In our home we often keep our Christmas tree up into the first week of January. But eventually the decorations have to be stored away. Then the house looks rather plain and ordinary again, as if something important and beautiful is missing. The Christmas story in the Bible has a similar sort of plain ending. Joseph and Mary returned with Jesus to their hometown. Nazareth was a small, relatively unknown town where Jesus grew up and lived for about thirty years. We know very little about what happened in those decades—except that Jesus and his parents and younger siblings lived there. The story of Christmas reminds us that no matter how plain and ordinary our lives may feel at times, Jesus has come to us. Nothing can change that fact. The Son of God has come, and nothing can be the same again.Maybe you have heard of the book The Everyday Gospel: A Theology of Washing the Dishes. It points out that we need to look for God's presence in the ordinary things of life. Every moment of our lives is an opportunity to experience God's work of shaping our hearts, inviting us to repentance and to new life in Christ.Where do you see the Lord at work in everyday life? Holy Spirit, we need to grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus. Help us to see his work and presence in everyday life. Amen.

Do You Call Someone Out for Not Washing Their Hands by Maine's Coast 93.1
Why don't I do rinseless washes anymore? After years of being a full-time mobile detailer in Orange County—working in strict coastal cities with heavy water-runoff regulations and during the peak of California's "drought"—I relied on rinseless washes to keep my business alive. I was a full-on mobile rinseless detailer for years. Corporate accounts, weekly clients, everything. But over time, I realized rinseless washing has major limitations that no one really talks about. In this video/podcast, I'm breaking down my full experience: How strict water regulations pushed me into rinseless in the first place Why I switched from waterless → to rinseless → to traditional washing The real problems I ran into after YEARS of rinseless washing Why customers didn't trust it (and how I lost accounts because of it) Why wheels, tires, door jambs, and wheel wells are a nightmare with rinseless Why rinseless is way more labor-intensive than people think Why it only works well on lightly soiled "garage queen" cars Why I eventually moved away from it completely And most importantly… How all of this led me to develop the Dry Foam Wash Method—a system that uses significantly less water but way more chemistry to safely break down dirt with less labor, less waste, and fewer limitations. Rinseless washing still has its place. Traditional washing still has its place. Foam cannons still have limitations. There is no perfect system… …but there are smarter ways to wash a car depending on your goals. This episode is all about the reality of rinseless washes—not the marketing hype—and how years of hands-on mobile detailing shaped the way I wash cars today. Want to Try the Dry Foam Method?
