    During the 1980's and early 1990's, the phenomenon of family murder in South Africa was perceived as being on the increase. These murders received much attention by the media and a discrete group of social scientists. This episode features familicide (murder suicide) with Alicia Ramdharee author of a book titled Orphaned by Suicide which was inspired by a tragedy she encountered at the tender age of 12. NB. Siyabonga grew up in Umlazi in Kwa-Zulu Natal. From an early age he knew he wanted to be an actor and after matriculating he studied drama at Natal Technicon. After graduating in 1999 he moved to Johannesburg to pursue a career in acting.
