A very simple reason why we stick to plans even when they're obviously failing. Let's dig into why our emotions overrule our rational thinking when loss is in play!
So let's talk about navigating this muddy dating pool!!!
So let's just say Lagos is crazy and you cannot stay on your lane, if you don't find wahalaeux, wahalaeux would find you. Okay? Okay. Now let me tell you about this wahala I entered...
Well well, thank you for listening to the first story story episode and for the amazing feedback. You warm my heart. Here's part 2(the final part), please remember to tell me what you think and how I can improve, these mean a lot. I hope you enjoy the music transitions, my "undefined" accent and the general feel of the podcast. Thank you, thank you. I appreciate.
Hey! It's our first "Story Story" Episode and here's a short story straight from my mind to your ears. Here's a short story told my Yenique about a cutesy couple who ended up having a dreadful vacation. Please enjoy... Also please ignore my very random "H" factored pronunciations, my awkward silences/filler words and the rather funny way I say "chalet", I was trying desperately to follow Google's orders. Thank you for listening!!!
So here's a little piece(not so short though) about soul searching and telling oneself the truth about other people's feelings about us
Navigating emotions can be daunting but today we talk about controlling our emotions especially when permanent damage could be done from our temporary feelings. Enjoy!!!
So recently I heard portraying yourself as a homely woman is you indirectly "dehumanizing" yourself so a man can pick you. I think not. Here I talk about my offence with women's double standards with this "pick me" culture. Please enjoy✌
The skies are clear, the weather is beautiful, you are beautiful...let's talk about things that make us happy.
About 15 years ago you had to plan ahead to rape a woman, roadblocks, family members turning molesters and all. These days we find that these perpetrators are amongst us, friends we drink with, colleagues after a late night etc. And it's getting easier to be the victim. Now more than ever even the perpetrators do not know when they have crossed the line. Here I explain the spectrum of rape/molestation and how there are really no grey areas. Also a plea to some ladies on how to avoid some avoidable situations. PS: This is referring to the particular trend of repoorted rape cases ongoing on Nigerian Twitter now, I understand some cases happen in unavoidable circumstances.
So you've heard of karma, a bitch right? Well listen to this amazing case where she came to play. This is another "not an episode" episode.

Just a little something something for you to learn from...not exactly learn though cause I am not a teacher but listen sha.
So I was listening to a very smart Muslim scholar Dalia Mogahed and she opened my eyes to how "irritatingly" islamaphobic I am and this is a narrative we all can relate to. We've been cultured into seeing people only a certain way and that needs to change. How can we change our prejudiced hearts? Please listen and I am hopeful this can lead you on a path to being more "just". PS: the song I was referring to is "I am not racist" by Joyner Lucas...great song✌
"Kindness that finds its way out of you would find it's way back in." It's my way of saying if you continually dish out good vibes, the universe would always find a way to pay you back. Good old fashioned kindness never goes out of style. Please enjoy
Count to 10 and then back...boom you're no longer agitated!!! Think that's nonsense, listen to this episode.
So I revisited a popular folk tale my mother told me as a kid. The blind men who all went to see the Elephant, please enjoy my review. PS: I haven't got a hang on this thing and I got an interruption again, please forgive.
