A podcast about the greatest 80’s & 90’s action movies ever made!!! The podcast is hosted by 3 sexy people named Dom, Marcus & Kenny!
This week Dom wanted to try something new, well actually he wanted to try our accidental podcast antics on purpose. No movie this week and we talk about our lives, well Dom and Kenny do. We find out what Dom likes to pretend to cast spells with and the 5 life goals of Kenny. Marcus doesn't add much like usual, but he comments and berates in his standard form. Enjoy!
We are back after a two week hiatus because we were all busy and Dom had the squirts. This week we checked out Tank Girl starring Lori Petty and damn were we bored. Dom supposedly likes this movie so Marcus picked it and they all realized the mistake immediately. At least Marcus had some good fun facts for this one. The guys have an interesting food order for their pre-movie dinner, Kenny has many childish things and Marcus seems extra angry this episode. Plus Dom and Kenny really want to see kangaroo dick
Dom and Marcus basically forced Kenny to pick this movie for this week because neither of them wanted to watch Conan. We watched Last Action Hero starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and Kenny wanted to be the little kid in this movie. You can tell who hated it, loved it and after consideration believed it didn't hold up. Dom's kids angered him and Kenny has more questions about masturbation. You will learn why Kenny loves the woman in this movie and that snake skin boots sold the likability of this film. He's an odd duck for sure. I'm sure Kenny wants to escape in this movie or have that ability because he can make cartoons be real. Listen to Kenny get confused about being inside of a movie that is a movie itself. Enjoy!
This week Dom decided on Lethal Weapon 3 because he was apparently out of regular action movies to choose. Dom defended the greatness of the movie to Marcus who was bored and bitched about this flick the whole time. Kenny seemed to be confused about a lot of things in it, but he loves love so he was happy with how Riggs found love again. Of course Marcus hated that moment too. We also learn that Kenny prices his dates out on the low end and that he believes adults Trick Or Treating is normal behavior. I know, we told him it was weird but he doesn't understand it. Enjoy!
This week Marcus purposely picked a movie for Kenny to watch and he ended up sick so he didn't show up for the show. Dom called Kenny a piece of shit a record number of times this episode. We watched A Low Down Dirty Shame Starring Keenan Ivory Wayans. Marcus calls Dom out for a slip of the tongue about a woman looking like a small boy. They decide to give Kenny a call and he really didn't sound sick. I'm sure he was avoiding the movie which means he looked into it and surprisingly we realize Kenny is the star of this movie! Enjoy!... because Kenny might be back next week.
We had another week of bad scheduling thanks to Dom, so we shift focus to the elongated discussions from our cold opens. Sorry for the second half of this episode as it is from a time we were adjusting settings to our new recording room. The topics range from furries, manscaping, dating and what disturbed Dom when he was watching porn. Kenny gets locked out of his house and wants to go on a man date with Dom to a dog park which seems more odd to us than it does to him. Marcus is around during all this, but mainly to push buttons like usual. We get back to our regularly scheduled podcast next week. Enjoy! P.S. - No we do not mention the picture that graces this episode and yes, that is Kenny.
This week we learn too much about Dom and his actions with a particular fruit. He also screwed up the movie we were supposed to watch because most Steven Seagal movies are fairly similar. We ended up watching Above The Law and Marcus was bummed there weren't going to be any Eskimos in this movie like the one we were supposed to watch. Who cares though since we all know he hated this movie. Kenny got confused as normal and Dom tried to defend the movie. Oh yeah, Kenny thinks the McRibb is a Black History Month thing. Enjoy!
This week there was a pizza discussion that didn't need to happen and we talk about a broken penis. Plus Dom talks about a porn move that made him lose his chub post haste. Oh yeah, we watched Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man this week thanks to Kenny. Dom and Kenny thought it was great so you can imagine what Marcus thought of it. For some reason, Kenny immediately goes to the attractiveness of Don Johnson and Mickey Rourke. Dom trays to parallel the movie characters to Kenny and Marcus so of course Marcus has something to say on the topic because doesn't he always anyway? Enjoy!
This week we watched a more well known movie starring Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz now known as the original, The Mummy. Kenny couldn't get over that fact that Brendan was in Encino Man and didn't see him as anything else and his explanation was mind numbing. The worst part is when Marcus asked Kenny what he would do if he had the Mummy's powers. Don't think about it too hard. We let you know how well the movie stood the test of time and Kenny's plot description focuses on the wrong part of the movie somehow. Also we can't understand his movie notes per usual and that it is inappropriate to tell a woman, "You have nice boobs." Dom and Marcus are able to break down the movie this week because it is actually good and Kenny just tries to keep up. Enjoy!
This week we might have watched the worst movie we have ever reviewed for the show! The 1988 pile of trash, Killing American Style starring no one you have ever heard of except for Jim Brown. This movie was so bad that we maybe talked about it for about 15 mins. It was so bad that it made Kenny's dating life sound exciting. Sit back and enjoy our take on this horrible, horrible movie!
This week we dive into the psyche of Kenny again since Dom is busy with his kid's Handegg team all week. That's football to the rest of you guys. We are joined by our special guest Thomas who help us ask the burning questions we have about Kenny such as how he didn't know what being bisexual is, why he can't masturbate in his own house and why he thinks his penis got bigger. We try to make sense of the enigma known as Kenny so sit back and try not to think about it too hard. Enjoy!
This week we all watched Die Hard With A Vengeance with our special guest Thomas! He may not be back though since Kenny is too intimidated by him and forgets how to form words and simple thoughts. Also his notes are perplexing and he shares his explainable love of Dave Thomas. Marcus has a few cool facts about the movie while Dom and Thomas surprisingly discuss this movie seriously... for ten minutes. The most important fact you learn is why you should never involve Kenny in any of your criminal activities. Enjoy!
Dom didn't plan well this week so we ended up watching Judge Dredd instead of Invasion USA. What another piece of shit Stallone movie even though Kenny thought it was good which that should tell you how bad it is. Kenny enjoy's Stallone's man butt and we also find out if he believes in the holocaust. Dom and Marcus can't contain their distaste for the film and Dom's favorite scene is no surprise. Then we have to explain spooning to Kenny. Enjoy!
You should be able to tell that Kenny picked the movie this week based on who is the "star." We watched Barb Wire with Pamela Anderson appearing in it, I feel like her tits are really the star since they are front and center. There was so much of her boobs in this movie Marcus actually said that he got bored with tits. Kenny didn't even realize that there was a plot to this thing the writing was so lazy, and it's Kenny. We discuss better women badasses, who would be a better star in this movie and why Kenny disagrees that Pam should have been replaced. We also randomly talk about who we jerked off to since Pam was in Playboy. Marcus has a life changing epiphany and realizes how Kenny can improve his life. We talk about our lives and eventually about the movie so sit back and enjoy! Or don't, you can hate listen to this too.
This week we realized that some older action movies just don't hold up. Marcus picked True Lies starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Tom Arnold, Tia Carrere and others. Somehow Kenny followed this movie no problem and yet Under Siege 2 was a struggle somehow. That may be the reason Kenny liked this movie while Dom and Marcus got bored out of their minds. There is one key problem with the movie that those two point to a few times. It was even hard to stay on topic talking about the movie it was so boring. We delve into Kenny's mindset which includes him still wears pajamas as a grown man and how he abuses so many types of people. Enjoy!
This week Dom decided to torture everyone by picking an atrocity of a movie and for once we are not talking about Schindler's List. This week is the Steven Seagal "classic," Under Siege 2: Dark Territory. Kenny doesn't understand the movie and not just parts of it, almost all of it. He also discusses how he wants to be in a coma and has no problem dating strippers. Dom defends this movie only because Seagal is in it and he also doesn't like women who are fighting against his favorite action stars. Marcus tries not to get an aneurysm listening to Kenny talk about what confused him while coming up with an even more disturbing ending to the movie. Do I have to mention Marcus hated this or is that just a given by now? Enjoy!
We got distracted this week while talking about Marcus' movie pick, The Boondock Saints. We eventually start talking about the movie and how Kenny doesn't understand a good friendship relationship which we find out from his notes. Marcus and Dom interrogate Kenny about touching a passed out woman's boob, his high school education and why he won't open up to us. We all agreed on one great thing about the movie and we find out that Kenny is basically Rocco. How is Kenny always a character in the movies we watch? Enjoy!
This week was an episode of Freudian slips for Kenny. We tried to delve into the dark places of Kenny's mind and attempted to help. He wouldn't let us in though, maybe one day. We learn what happens when Kenny doesn't smoke weed and his odd hair style choice as a child. Oh yeah, we also watched one of Dom's favorite movies, Stone Cold starring Brian Bozworth. Marcus overthinks this one like he does every damn time, Dom reads Kenny's notes and he also can't figured out why the biker gang was racist. How does he never understand everything in movies? Give it a listen and enjoy!
This week is a special episode featuring Tinder and Dom. This happened mainly because Dom is trying his hand at the world of app dating and Marcus selfishly went out of town so a new movie couldn't be watched. Dom tells us what he is looking for and definitely what he wants to avoid. Kenny chimes in occasionally and we get a little more concerned about his thought process. Plus he claims to have no friends or friends of friends for Dom. Traverse the world of app dating with us and enjoy!
On this week's episode we watched the 1999 crime drama, Payback starring Mel Gibson. Yes, you read that right. A crime drama. You're asking yourself right now that this is a podcast about action movies & not drama movies. You are correct. Dom & Marcus made the mistake of letting Kenny pick the movie... yet again. So sit back and enjoy our review on Payback. Which is not an action movie. Thanks Kenny...
This episode was a gun battle bonanza as we watched the guntastic classic, Hard Boiled. We found out Kenny Loves high waist pants for some reason, invents a new word "Under-cop" and of course he can't understand why innocent people had to die. This was the most death ridden movie we have watched to date, although there may have been as many slow motion scenes as death scenes. Dom gets upset at the niceness of the mobsters in the film and we lament letting Kenny pick our next movie. Enjoy!
This week Dom picked Sudden Death starring Jean Claude Van Damme. JCVD's character kills a kid in this movie and we discuss a JCVD curse that Marcus figures out. Kenny confuses mascots with Furries and we also dive into his dad issues a little bit. We need to stop watching movies with kids! We also know what kind of villain Marcus would be after watching this film. Dom's dating life gets spotlighted once again and Kenny's thoughts continue to scare us. Enjoy!
Marcus picked a decent action movie this week instead of his usual garbage. We watched The Last Boy Scout starring Bruce Willis and Damon Wayans. There weren't many issues with the movie, although we do find out who was supposed to star in it and what Shane Black actually envisioned. Kenny tries to explain a racist comment in the movie while not being able to focus because of Halle Barry's ass and Dom basically calls Marcus a shitty father if it were to happen. He agreed. Enjoy!
This episode was us falling asleep as we watched Dom's pick Next Of Kin starring Patrick Swayze, Liam Neeson and others. It was a long way to wait for the action payoff, but it was kind of worth it. Maybe. The hill people and their actions definitely brought up a discussion on backwoods people and the city folk. Also Kenny thinks Kentucky is a country. Kenny developed a connected movie actor universe theory that he was too embarrassed to repeat again, so Marcus helped out as well. Plus we join Dom on the journey of dating on apps. Enjoy!
This appears to be the last time we let Kenny pick a movie. We watched and groaned at the movie Street Fighter, starring Jean Claude Van Damme and Raul Julia. We couldn't even describe this movie or stay focused on it due to its horribleness. This happens on every JCVD film of course. Kenny tries to defend the movie, but ultimately flip flops a few times in the podcast. Also we make him wear a fake mustache and it somehow throws his thought process off. Don't ask how that is possible. Listen to Dom and Marcus accurately describe this piece of shit while Kenny flails about like a fish on a boat in its last moments of life. Enjoy!
Well, we had to teach Kenny what a wet dream is and also found out who would actually pay for a hooker. Oh yeah, we also watched a movie this week picked by Marcus. It was Executive Decision starring Kurt Russell and others. He picked it because (spoiler) Steven Seagal died in it. Dom was not pleased and Kenny gave up on the movie after his death. Dom and Marcus didn't think it was horrible, although Marcus has an odd thought about the creation of that stealth sleeve. Give it a listen and enjoy the giddiness of Marcus after Seagal's character dies!
Of Course Dom picked a Steven Seagal movie this week for the podcast. Out For Justice stars Seagal as, you guessed it, a cop! Well, it was harder for Kenny to guess. He also couldn't get over one death in the movie which I believe calls for therapy sessions. Dom is inconsequential in this description as a Seagal movie is always a 5. No spoilers there. Marcus was a bit more intrigued with this movie than expected so sit back and listen to Dom and Marcus shut down Kenny once again! Oh yeah, Dom almost peed on Kenny and Kenny answers the age old question involving flexibility and debauchery, enjoy!
Marcus has been on a bad run of movies and he continued it by picking The Punisher starring Dolph Lundgren! We found out the Kenny has a Funko addiction, that he can't read well and he is awkwardly pimping out his grandma. Dom actually didn't like this version but he feels Dolph Lundgren still was.... kind of great. Marcus only defends the movie when Kenny spouts off his brand of idiocy, otherwise it's a bit of a lambasting. Enjoy us bullshitting about the 1989 action movie, The Punisher!
Dom chose The Rock for this week's episode starring Sean Connery and that other dude who stole cars with Angelina Jolie. Speaking of which, Kenny has an insane theory how that movie and The Rock universes connect. Remember, he also thinks the earth is only one million years old. Dom has a hard on over the movie's explosions and Marcus, well he does what he does best by being a pragmatic bitch.
Marcus once again chooses a snore fest!!! On this episode we review the 1998 film Hard Rain starring Christian Slater & Morgan Freeman. Kenny once again gets stuck on the most random things while Marcus almost falls asleep during the movie. Dom loves it of course... Sit back and enjoy the show!
Dom chose the action/comedy movie Beverly Hills Cop for the one year anniversary episode! We were all shocked how little action there was in this movie and Kenny described the wrong movie of course. Kenny learned a new word and was just waiting to use it! Also he was stuck on something the movie clearly explains. Marcus decides to over think the movie like always and Dom had Spongebob sheets! Kenny also found out that InspectorTodd reminds him of his father. Sit back and listen to us get disappointed that this was not the second movie in the series!
This week we watched Kenny's pick for the month, Predator starring the legend himself, Arnold Schwarzenegger. Kenny of course comes up with fun facts that we already know about the movie. We find out that Marcus doesn't really care for the plot and Dom once again professes his love for Arnold and the action genre.
This week is a continuation of Marcus pissing off Dom with Indiana Jones and the Temple Of Doom. Kenny appeared to understand this movie until the end when we hear his true feelings for Indiana Jones. Marcus blows up at Kenny, Dom blows up at Kenny and Kenny says, "Yeah..." Give it a listen and enjoy another episode of us trying to figure out what's wrong with Kenny!
Dom picked this week's movie starring Kurt Russell in Escape From L.A., a sequel no one asked for in Marcus's opinion. It suffered from Die Hard 2 syndrome will Kenny suffered from a lack of attention due to a minimum amount of women in the movie. He also tries to impress Marcus by reading the entire movie from his notes. Marcus couldn't stop bitching for a while as Dom attempts to defend the movie even though a little piece of him dies inside. Give a listen and enjoy!
Marcus picked another cheesy action movie for this week called Bulletproof. It stars Gary Busey which should be all you need to know. We all attempt to explain the movie which was a cultural appropriation melting pot of confusion. If you don't take it seriously and like well done bad movies, it is one hell of an entertaining flick. We also finally find out why Kenny wants an easy life and where his future career was headed. Dom and Marcus are glad it didn't work out and you should be as well. Enjoy this week's episode!
With all of our extra behind-the-scenes discussions, we thought it was the perfect time to release another cut focusing on Kenny and his uncomfortable relationship with sex and butt play. Our special guest Thomas joined us on this harrowing journey of questioning Kenny's sex logic. We all a share a little bit of ourselves and you can decide how truthful Kenny is really being on this episode.
This week Kenny picked the movie Speed while angering Marcus to the edge of his own sanity. The intro is a little long due to Marcus loudly detailing Kenny's four strikes against him. Dom and Kenny liked the movie all the way around while Marcus had the most problems with it. I mean, how did Dennis know about Keanu's favorite coffee shop? Kenny somehow didn't understand almost this whole movie... I know. It's a bomb on a bus. Enjoy!
Dom picked an actual action movie this week starring Arnold Schwarzenegger in Raw Deal. Dom thinks this movie is an underrated Arnold movie, Marcus bitches like he always does and Kenny lets on that an exchange of money combined with saxophone means sex. We also find out that Kenny takes good notes! He just refuses to read them back later since he has a thing against reading.
This week Marcus chose a true action movie, Rambo: First Blood starring Sylvester Stallone and some other people. Dom was all about it of course and Marcus was kind of surprised by this film. Kenny is going to school to become a mine expert after watching this movie. We also learn exactly what needs to be in a movie to keep his attention. Enjoy!
Wow... We watched Dom's pick this week starring Andrew "Dice" Clay in a movie clearly written for him called, The Adventures Of Ford Fairlane. Our guest, Thomas Cowley, joined us this week as Marcus and him attempted to break Dom's spirit for making them watch this movie. Kenny somehow confused himself on whether or not he even liked this movie and they all try to figure out Dom's reasoning for his undying devotion to this supposed... "film." Enjoy!
This episode Marcus chose the first of the Pierce Brosnan Bond movies, Goldeneye! Dom laments this version of Bond and goes off on British people even though he loves the character. Kenny gets lost five minutes into the movie and will always equate Pierce with a lime throwing incident. Marcus liked the action, but the ridiculousness of it all made him roll his eyes too many times. Plenty of interesting fun facts in here and then there is the character Xenia Onatopp... Kenny will explain the rest, enjoy!
This week we tackled Dom's pick which was Lethal Weapon 2 starring Mel Gibson and Danny Glover! Kenny got stuck on how nice Murtaugh's family was and gets upset about it being too perfect. Dom calls out Kenny on why he was late for this episode and we also talked about the movie. Marcus tells us why he liked it better than the first one and explains to Kenny why bad guys have to wear masks. We all discuss who wouldn't take the drug money and who would. Speaking of Kenny, he also explains why he thinks left handed people are better than everyone else. Enjoy!
This week we watched Marcus's pick, Bad Boys staring Will Smith, Martin Lawrence and an actress that Kenny drooled over. We learn what other actors were supposed to play the two main roles, Marcus recognizes the family dynamic of Martin's character is in trouble and Dom loves when two dudes stand up together in slow motion. Kenny also sees color in film better than the other two, and the list of action movies he presents are flawed. Enjoy!
Dom picked a movie that he remembered being a great action movie he watched as a kid. We all learned that Dom has a bad memory. We universally panned this Clint Eastwood movie, The Rookie. There as a lot of arguing during the rating of this movie as well, enjoy!
This episode continues the Die Hard series with Marcus's pick, Die Hard 2: Die Harder. Marcus compares the first two movies similarities and Dom compares John McClaine with Martin Riggs. Kenny gets stuck on why there are so many planes in a holding pattern and somehow doesn't see Bruce Willis as an action star. Oh yeah, Dom gets a bit angry again. Enjoy!
This episode Dom tortured Marcus with another Steven Seagal movie called Hard To Kill. Yet another classic in Dom's eyes. Kenny and Marcus also chose a winner for the best action star between JCVD and Steven Seagal.
Marcus blindly picked a movie, yet again, based on the lead actor and we realize why Carl Weathers never became an action star. At least they depicted the Detroit police station accurately in this action classic, Action Jackson! Also, Kenny has a problem with beans...
This week there were conflicting schedules to record a new podcast, so we decided to treat you with something different. It is the full version discussion Kenny and Marcus had from the introduction of the John Carpenter's Vampires episode. Kenny shares his views on dinosaurs, how old the earth really is, the moon landing and the Loch Ness monster. Marcus stutters uncontrollably due to frustration. Enjoy!
Dom once again ruins Marcus' life by making him watch the 1993 Jean Claude Van Damme movie Hard Target.
Somehow we started discussing pyramids with Kenny on this episode after watching Dom's pick Road House. We also delve into Dom's fascination with Sam Elliot and try to figure out who actually pays for all the broken furniture in bar fights.
We watched Dom's pick starring the mighty Arnold Schwarzenegger in the movie Eraser! Kenny's burning question was what Vanessa Williams' job title was in the movie and why it was never announced. That haunted him for the rest of the film. Look past that and enjoy our take on Eraser!
