Produced by Joseph Cottrell, Wayne Hall, Ken Fuller and Jeffrey Crecelius After the emergence online of another Drama Tour video - with sound - by James Ferrani on YouTube, Mark and I took a careful look at his 2 videos from consecutive days on the 1980 Drama Tour that featured Buggles men Trevor Horn and Geoff Downes. There are at least 2 revelations contained in the videos that I don't believe any Yes fans except those who attended the concerts in North America have experienced in the intervening 45 years. I knew they had happened but seeing them is quite remarkable. Stay tuned for our discussion, watch the videos below and leave us a comment while you are here. What are the unique aspects of these videos? Was Chris Squire a bit 'under the weather'? Who looked more comfortable - Downes or Horn? See if you agree with us and then leave a comment below. https://youtu.be/SgWu1NIJjss?si=8MuF1WPc9GkhjqTr https://youtu.be/uIbcQTITKOc?si=qwByx3z5-La8Xt0F Steve Howe Press Release Fans will be happy to know that to follow up the release of ‘Portraits Of Bob Dylan' on 12th September, Steve Howe will issue ‘Signals Crossed', an E.P including three previously unreleased interpretations of Bob Dylan songs. It will feature ‘I Want You', ‘One Too Many Mornings' and ‘Mama, You`ve Been On My Mind'. It will include appearances by Geoff Downes, Dylan Howe, Stephanie Sounds and Paul K Joyce. The EP will be available as a white vinyl 10” – one sided and mirror backed – limited to 500 copies worldwide.   It will also be available as a download.   It will be released on 5th December 2025.   You can pre-order the vinyl here:  https://lnk.to/joLdy9 Steve Howe: “I recorded 'I Want You' before starting the released ‘Portraits Of Bob Dylan' tracks, then I recorded two alternative versions of songs from the album in different styles. This version of 'One Too Many Mornings' wasn't in the right key for Phoebe Snow, who sang beautifully to an acoustic version on the released album. This version gives it an electric setting, taking a little from Bob's 'Hard Rain' version. I sang ‘Mama, You've Been On My Mind' on the original release, slow and a little mournful but here has a more upbeat and optimistic flavour.  With the vocal harmonies and Dylan's drumming, these tracks retain the mood of what I wanted to explore in 2000, songs about getting your Signals Crossed”  Track Listing: 1.    I Want You 2.    One Too Many Mornings 3.    Mama, You've Been On My Mind. Steve Howe: “What I loved about it was having the chance to arrange them as I wasn't going to copy what Dylan had done; I wanted to bring a little bit more to it.”  Steve Howe:  “The ‘Portraits' idea was always a sort of pipe dream, and I originally
recorded one song to start the project, and I thought, this will be good, I'll do lots of Bob” Preorder the Barry Plummer 2026 Calendar! Michelle Zeto, Geoffrey Himes, and Rob Shepherd have each built careers in music journalism and broadcasting. With America In Major New Administration & the Political News View Headlines Changing Everyday, This Book is Particularly Intriguing Now!!In 1974 John Egerton published his seminal work, The Americanization of Dixie. Pulitzer Prize-winner Cynthia Tucker and award-winning author Frye Gaillard carry Egerton's thesis forward in The Southernization of America, a compelling series of linked essays considering the role of the South in shaping America's current political and cultural landscape. They dive deeper, examining the morphing of the Southern strategy of Richard Nixon and Ronald Reagan into the Republican Party of today, the racial backlash against President Obama, family separation on our southern border, the rise of the Christian right, the white supremacist riots in Charlottesville, the death of George Floyd, and the attack on our nation's capitol. They find hope in the South too, a legacy rooted in the civil rights years that might ultimately lead the nation on the path to redemption. Tucker and Gaillard bring a multiracial perspective and years of political reporting to bear on a critical moment in American history, a time of racial reckoning and democracy under siege.Frye Gaillard is an award-winning journalist with over 30 published works on Southern history and culture, including Watermelon Wine; Cradle of Freedom: Alabama and the Movement that Changed America; The Books That Mattered: A Reader's Memoir; Journey to the Wilderness: War, Memory, and a Southern Family's Civil War Letters; Go South to Freedom; A Hard Rain: America in the 1960s, Our Decade of Hope, Possibility, and Innocence Lost; and The Slave Who Went to Congress. A Hard Rain was selected as one of NPR's Best Books of 2018. Writer-in-residence at the University of South Alabama, he is also John Egerton Scholar in Residence at the Southern Foodways Alliance at the University of Mississippi. He is the winner of the Clarence Cason Award for Nonfiction Writing, the Lillian Smith Book Award, and the Eugene Current-Garcia Award For Distinction in Literary Scholarship. In 2019, Gaillard was awarded the Alabama Governor's Arts Award for his contributions to literature.Cynthia Tucker is a Pulitzer Prize-winning syndicated columnist who has spent most of her career in journalism, having previously worked for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution as an editorial page editor and as a Washington-based political columnist. She has also been featured as a political commentator on television and radio. Tucker's work as a journalist has been celebrated by the National Association of Black Journalists (who inducted her into its hall of fame), Harvard University, and the Alabama Humanities Foundation. She spent three years as a visiting professor at the University of Georgia's Grady College of Journalism and is currently the journalist-in-residence at the University of South Alabama.© 2025 Building Abundant Success!!2025 All Rights ReservedJoin Me on ~ iHeart Media @ https://tinyurl.com/iHeartBASSpot Me on Spotify: https://tinyurl.com/yxuy23baAmazon Music ~ https://tinyurl.com/AmzBASAudacy:  https://tinyurl.com/BASAud

Laurie Anderson joins us live from NYC's Poster House Museum in conversation with Dr. Zia Mian (Princeton physicist & nuclear policy expert). We explore her iconic 1982 hit “O Superman” and its album Big Science—how it anticipated many of the tensions of the nuclear age and still resonates powerfully in today's disarmament debates. Together, they challenge the logic of deterrence, unpack how nuclear weapons work, and consider how networks—rather than traditional institutions—might better enact change. Also: the rifts within scientific communities, the role of “Big Science,” and more. Bonus content features producer and radio host Elia Einhorn joining to premiere Kronos Quartet's Nobel Prize Committee commissioned rendition of “A Hard Rain's Gonna Fall” featuring Laurie, Willie Nelson and a host of others.

Welcome to a new episode of ASMR Sleep Recordings. In this episode, you will hear hard rain against the window. Improve your health and happiness. The sound you hear in this episode creates a calm atmosphere and at the same time blocks out disturbing noises. This will help you de-stress, unwind, and rest. Enjoy two hours of relaxing sounds to help you relax, focus, study and fall asleep.About ASMR Sleep Recordings:The purpose of ASMR Sleep Recording is to help you sleep and concentrate better. This particular episode lasts two hours and has no ads in the middle, so you won't be woken up or disturbed while focusing or relaxing. When you listen to ASMR Sleep Recordings, you can lock your phone, so you won't get any bothersome stimuli from notifications and other sounds from your phone. You can switch between apps while studying or working without pausing the ambient sound.About our sounds:Water creates a natural white noise. Infused with the relaxing quality of nature and the sound-masking properties of white noise, listening to running water is an ideal way to turn off all the stressful things life brings, and to de-stress. Some of our most popular sounds include a river, flowing creek, babbling brook, gentle waves on a lake, and a bamboo fountain. Rain also creates a natural white noise. Infused with the relaxing quality of nature and the sound-masking properties of white noise, listening to rain is an ideal way to switch off all the stressful things life brings and to de-stress. Some of our most popular sounds are rain on an umbrella, hailstorms, hard rain, soft rain, gentle rain, wind and rain, rain on a car.White noise helps babies and children to get a better and deeper night's sleep. This is because external sounds are masked by the noise. With white noise in the background, your child will not hear annoying cars driving by or dogs barking in bed. This allows your little one to sleep better. And it also saves you as a parent a lot of hours!Pink noise is more common in nature than you might expect. It can be compared to continuous rainfall or wind. In addition to white noise, pink noise is also increasing in popularity, especially in business environments. Because it can increase productivity, concentration and creativity.Brown noise can be compared to waves of the sea, a river current, strong winds or the sound of thunder during a storm. Like pink noise, brown noise is very similar to white noise. However, the frequencies have been lowered even further and a lot more concentrated. This gives it a rougher/coarse tone than pink noise. It sounds a bit deeper and a bit bass-like. The benefits of brown noise are the same as the other types of noise. It provides relaxation, increased focus and improved deep sleep.DISCLAIMER: Be aware that loud noises can damage your hearing. If you can't carry on a conversation without raising your voice while playing one of our spheres, the sound may be too loud for your ears. Do not place the speakers directly next to a baby's ears. If you have trouble hearing or ringing in your ears, stop listening to the white noise immediately and see an audiologist or your doctor. The sounds provided by ASMR Sleep Recordings are for entertainment purposes only and are not a treatment for sleep disorders or tinnitus. Consult your doctor if you regularly have severe sleeping problems, experience fitful/restless sleep or feel tired during the day.ASMR Sleep Recordings is the white noise and nature sounds podcast to help you sleep, study or soothe a baby. Everything is normal in LA, except the presence of National Guard troops and Marines. We have a disinformed citizen problem as much as a Donald fascism problem. Donald's military escalation is unpopular. ICE agents and military have to identify themselves by law. Gavin Newsom is finally stepping out of the MAGA shadow. Let's play: What The Eff Is Tom Homan Mumbling About? World Bank forecasts lowest level of global growth since 2008. The Supreme Court is allowing DOGE to have your Social Security data.
