On November 18th 1993 a young girl disappeared from a seemingly safe community. One that reeled with the loss of, not just a sweet little girl, but their feelings of safety and comfort in their neighborhood. *Suggested by Katie Huer* https://unsolvedmysteries.fandom.com/wiki/Angie_Housman, https://shenbagalakshmi.medium.com/the-devastating-and-brutal-death-of-angie-housman-e1fb72120dfc, https://www.themidwestcrimefiles.com/post/little-girl-lost-the-angie-housman-story, https://www.ksdk.com/article/news/local/angie-housman-death-new-details/63-2e8d9c0e-42c0-419a-bf15-fda4bdaf8eb1, https://www.stltoday.com/news/local/crime-and-courts/man-serving-life-for-angie-housman-murder-sentenced-for-molesting-another-girl/article_e2ec2106-22f5-5fe9-b25f-cc57d096e0a7.html, https://www.tuko.co.ke/facts-lifehacks/450039-angie-marie-housman-what-happened-earl-cox/ Learn more about your ad choices. Former St. Charles County Prosecutor Tim Lohmar joins Tom and Megan talking about the case of Angie Housman as it approaches 30 years since her disappearance and why it took so long to convict someone.
9-year old Angie Housman was kidnapped in St. Ann, Missouri after getting off a bus stop and walking home half a block. 10 days later, her body was discovered in St. Charles. For decades authorities investigated Angie's case, hoping for that one lucky day. And that luck arrived in 2018-2019 with DNA. And Angie's killer was a “usual suspect.” His name, Earl Cox Jr., a disgraced Air Force veteran. Dig in with Margot as she tells you the story of little Angie Housman, and how discovering her killer decades after her death, lead to other victims getting their voice back. ----- Thanks to Today's Sponsors: Aura Frames!
