Meep war einen Tag auf der Gamescom und direkt erschlagen! Von den Eindrücken, sonst scheint es ihr gut zu gehen. Sie berichtet von den Aufbauten, einem ML-unterstützten Text-Adventure, Pioneers of Pagonia und der Retro-Area. Eindrücklich scheinen auch die Autofahrer in NRW gewesen zu sein. Weniger Eindruck konnte die Opening Night Live von und mit Geoff Keighley schinden. Aber er hatte auch Langeweile versprochen. Und ein Keighley steht zu seinem Wort. AMD waren auch da und brachten die wohl letzten Vertreter der RDNA3-Generation (abseits von möglichen Refresh-Varianten): Radeon RX 7700 XT und 7800 XT für 489€ bzw. 549€ UVP. Direkt interessanter ist die offizielle Vorstellung von FidelityFX Super Resolution 3 (FSR3) mit "Fluid Motion Frames", dem Pendant zu Nvidias Frame Generation, aber wieder herstellerunabhängig. Nvidia hingegen stellte DLSS 3.5 mit Ray Reconstruction vor und möchte damit Raytracing hübscher machen, indem es qualitativ geringere Denoiser in der Render Pipeline ersetzt.
