Meet Ben Kern. Ben received his Doctor of Philosophy in 2017 from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. His Principal Licensure was completed in 2002 and his BA in 1999 in Kinesiology K-12 Physical Education. Currently, Ben is the Program Coordinator of the Physical Education Teacher Education in the Division of Kinesiology & Health at the University of Wyoming. Ben is a Board member for Wyoming Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance (WAHPERD) and previously served on the Board of Directors for Louisiana AHPERD. Ben spoke to us regarding the US Physical Education and Physical Activity Policy Project-- a project that is important for all those involved in physical education and physical activity.
