We're diving into a question I get all the time as a coach, trainer, and someone who's worked with thousands of people in pain:"Should I stop doing this exercise if it hurts?"We talk pain, movement, injuries, mindset, posture, programming, tendons, recovery—you name it. And most importantly, we challenge the way most people think about pain. You'll hear stories from my personal journey of healing from ruptured tendons, broken bones, and all kinds of setbacks. You'll also learn about the 7 fundamental human movements every single person should be able to do—and what to do if pain is keeping you from doing them. This episode is about ownership. About reclaiming your power and rebuilding confidence in your body, one rep at a time. Because pain doesn't mean you're broken. It might actually be your body asking for your attention.Pain is not the end of the story. It's the beginning of your comeback. So whether you're a fitness newbie, a weekend warrior, or someone who's been struggling with chronic pain for years—this episode is a must-listen.Let's roll it back to one of the most important conversations we've ever had on this show. Today's episode is one of the most powerful mindset shifts you can make — and it's this:
Tally Koren arrived in London with 1 suitcase and a dream in the late 90th, and against all odds became an international Singer - Songwriter. Despite family objections and countless music business rejections, what kept her going was, turning every minus to plus, taking every refusal to become better, and every hard situation to do something good to herself and others. Her turning point to fulfil her childhood dreams and to become a singer happened at the age of 26, while she was in a very un-happy marriage.A singing teacher immediately recognised her talent and thought that her low voice is reminding of Karen carpenter. In 2007 Tally made the decision to make her first album and not to wait for the record company.Despite one of the top radios plugger telling her that she doesn't have a chance to make it nationally being over 40. She made the choice to listen to the words of her song “Beauty of The Duty “saying “the only thing that holds you back is you”. Her song became a National success on the BBC radio 3 weeks later. Many of my other singles been playlisted with over 1000 radio stations in the UK and around the world.Performances include: the Royal Albert Hall, The National Arboretum, The Belgrade Theatre, Pizza on the Park, Pizza Express, The JW3, Electric Carousel, The Soho Revue Bar, the Forum (Kentish Town), Tate Britain to Celebrate William Blake's birthday,The House of Lords, opening a football match at the MK Dons Stadium.Music in Films: “Rotten Fruit” Windmills of Your Mind, and Man Who Sold the World.TV advert for Bell Atlantic, USA phone company. Her purpose in life is to inspire people to do what they love.“For me, Free Will is not just a song - it's a journey about resilience, commitment, and my life purpose to inspire people to make the best choices in life, have the courage to go for their dreams, never give up, and take every rejection to become better.”Find Tally Koren on all social media platforms @tallykorenGet your Jumpstart Journal here: http://subscribepage.io/YCauoKWork with me: www.karaleighgarrison.com/coaching

Send us a textEric Richard Stone has been writing songs for five decades and performing for four. It wasn't until 2014, however, when he moved to a home near Nederland and started pursuing music full-time.Stone found himself inspired by the mountain community, its nature, and its people. He feels that the environment has motivated his best work as a songwriter. Now, he's released a new album called Living The Dream, unbound by style, from folk to bluegrass to Americana to rock to pop. Nine songs are original compositions by Stone, with a tenth alternate version of the song “It Might As Well Be Rain,” and three are cover interpretations.Stone will embark on his first European tour in June for the album, but he'll gear up for that tour by playing in the area that has inspired him the most. We're not building dogma—we're tending a living garden of faithLiving the Dream of an Oak Church” invites you into the heart of a movement decades in the making. In this deeply personal and reflective conversation, Charlie and Brian share the roots of their spiritual journey—how trauma, curiosity, mysticism, and resilience shaped the Christopagan Druid path they now walk. They explain the philosophy behind their Oak Church project, why faith must be practical, poetic, and alive, and how reclaiming old stories and building new ones is key to forging a sacred path in today's world. This is a journey not toward dogma, but toward coherence, blessing, and living connection. Thanks for reading! Today, we're not here to talk about crushing a workout or diving into some health study… Today, we're here to slow down. To reconnect. To reset.Because self-care isn't selfish. It's a requirement for longevity. It's how we fill our cups so we can pour into others. For this episode we're going to take 10 minutes to do something that science says can literally rewire your brain:We're going to breathe... and we're going to practice gratitude. Why this matters:Gratitude has been shown to boost dopamine and serotonin—the feel-good chemicals in your brain. It reduces cortisol, improves sleep, strengthens relationships, and even boosts your immune system. And when you combine it with slow, intentional breathing, you activate the parasympathetic nervous system — the calm, rest-and-repair side of your body. This shifts you out of stress mode and into a healing state. So find a quiet place. Get comfortable. And let's begin.Resources:Brain.fm App(First month Free, then 20% off subscription)Discount Code: coachdamiensdCaldera Lab Skin Carewww.calderalab.comDiscount Code: CoachDLinks:IG:@coachdamien_sd@damienrayevans@livinthedream_podcast YouTube:https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCS6VuPgtVsdBpDj5oN3YQTgFB:https://www.facebook.com/coachdamienSD/

We're going to break down 20 of the most common fat-loss roadblocks — one by one — and offer actionable tips to fix them. These aren't judgmental. They're real. They're common. Today, we're tackling a topic that most humans will face at some point in their life: Training with Pain.Whether it's chronic low back pain, a tight shoulder, cranky knees, or just that lingering ache that pops up every time you do squats or reach overhead — pain can be confusing, frustrating, even scary. But here's the truth:Pain is not a stop sign — it's a signal.Today's episode is about helping you understand that pain is part of the process, not the end of it. We'll talk about why pain doesn't always mean damage, how to move through it safely, and how to use it as a tool for progress — not a reason to give up.Resources:Brain.fm App(First month Free, then 20% off subscription)Discount Code: coachdamiensdCaldera Lab Skin Carewww.calderalab.comDiscount Code: CoachDLinks:IG:@coachdamien_sd@damienrayevans@livinthedream_podcast YouTube:https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCS6VuPgtVsdBpDj5oN3YQTgFB:https://www.facebook.com/coachdamienSD/Citations & Research Links1. Episode 227How We Used 2 Do ItSensers! Well officially being on this planet for sometime, I've seen some things, did some things, so been here long enough to state “well back in my day….”. If it makes you old, fuck it. We've earned it by now. The 1900s were a time to be alive and I just want to talk about some of the moments I was fortunate to witness growing up. For starters, in all honesty with this topic, I answered it as if how close I'm living to living the dream so when you watch this one and it seems like I'm avoiding the question, that's how this went down but entertaining nevertheless. I love how I'm living with every challenge presented to me. I believe it's all happening for me not to me. Last topic, you ever wanted to get back at someone so damn bad? The ego will have you draining yourself in the mind trying to retaliate to someone who projected their pain onto you. I still have those feelings inside at times but peace is everything at this stage in life. You can have it, I just don't have to entertain it. May God and His Universe remove any negative energy you may have stored from reading this. If you dig the episode, click, like, and share on your page. Help build the tribe of healing

We've been sold the lie that freedom comes after the exit. But what if we built businesses we never wanted to leave? That's exactly what Elliott Bisnow did. As co-founder of Summit and Powder Mountain, he's created a movement, not just a company—one built on authenticity, community, and the belief that life and work should be equally inspiring. In this episode, Elliott breaks down the power of big ideas, the myth of the exit strategy, and how living your brand is the real key to long-term happiness and success.Takeaways:Focusing on niches can lead to unique business opportunities.Building community is essential for entrepreneurial success.Authenticity is more valuable than perfection in leadership.Managing expectations is crucial for customer satisfaction.Creating leaders within organizations fosters a positive culture.Mentorship plays a significant role in personal growth.Co-founding a business brings diverse perspectives and skills.Living the brand enhances personal fulfillment and business success.Intentional living can lead to a more balanced and fulfilling life.____________________________________________________________Full Comp is brought to you by Yelp for Restaurants: In July 2020, a few hundred employees formed Yelp for Restaurants. Episode #960 Ever catch yourself staring in the mirror thinking, “This can't be it… right?” That quiet pull, like there's gotta be more to life—but you're not even sure what “more” means anymore? Yeah. You're not the only one. In this episode, we get into what a lot of people call a midlife crisis—but we see it differently. We call it a midlife awakening. Steve and Mark, two of our Alpha Reset coaches, join me for a real conversation about what it actually looks like to hit that wall… and then move through it. These guys have walked with a lot of men through some serious turning points, and they don't sugarcoat it. We dig into: The silent weight a lot of men carry around without even realizing it Why reading all the self-help books in the world won't move the needle unless you're willing to get uncomfortable What it means when your “little boy” shows up in your marriage—and why your wife feels it even if you don't How most men are chasing a “dream life” they've never actually defined And yeah… we even talk about a guy who had a realization about his own ashes that completely changed where he chose to live—while he was still alive This one's not about fixing yourself. It's about waking up to what's real—and maybe starting to live like you mean it. So if you've been saying “livin' the dream” with an eye roll and a tired laugh… might be time to find out what your real dream actually looks like. __________ Hungry for more? The ladder for a wannabe GM requires great balance — and not just when you're power-washing bathrooms in Coney Island as a minor-league intern. But Pablo's former classmate possesses an almost comically even-keeled nature that has led him to the top of Major League Baseball, making unemotional (and historically expensive) decisions as President of Baseball Operations for the New York Mets. His journey from racing in a hot-dog costume to working under the Big Apple spotlight for the richest owner in sports has meant turning off sports-talk radio, texting with Darryl Strawberry and, somehow, having no idea who Grimace was.
