On This Day - April 9, 1902 the Hawthorn Footy Club was formed. It took until 1925 for the Hawks to enter the VFL and 36 years (1961) to win their first Premiership, but since then they haven't looked back. Ben Stratton is the club's current captain reflecting on this mighty club
