Off the back of WWE's own Starrcade 'event', Ash and Joel dedicate episode two of Wrestling Origins to the first-ever Starrcade shows. Firstly they go all the way back to 1983 for the very first wrestling pay-per-view and it's very much wrestling from a bygone era. Ric Flair and Harley Race are main eventing, but there's much more to discuss including dodgy TV production, the wackiness of Bugsy McGraw and the most unnecessary post-match beatdown you'll ever see. We then turn attention to the first-ever WCW Starrcade as Lex Luger shares the main event slot with Flair, and enjoy a more familiar nostalgic feel to 1988's showpiece. Plus chat on dropkick's, Dusty Rhodes and even a cameo from the Wrestling Origins new mascot (pipe down!). Join Bruce Hart as he welcomes wrestling legends Alexis Smirnoff and Bugsy McGraw
Join Mr. Beverly Hills and the Dirty Dawg as they discuss WCCW episode 52, talking Gary Hart and his awesome line during his promo, Bugsy McGraw being Bugs-like, and the Dirty Dawg bashes the WCCW production crew for making the main event match seem silly.
