Masy ledu kolem severního pólu mizí v moři s nebývalou rychlostí a odhalují nové příležitosti a výzvy v oblasti, kde se překrývají mnohé obchodní, těžařské, vojenské a další zájmy. Námořní spojení mezi Evropou a Asií přes tající Arktidu může být až dvakrát rychlejší ve srovnání s cestou Suezským průplavem - namísto čtyřiceti dnů možná jen dvacet. Polárními vodami tak v létě brázdí čím dál víc lodí. Stejně tak se nabízí a plánují nová propojení podmořskými kabely – třeba spojení mimo jiné mezi Kanadou, Grónskem, Islandem, Irskem a Japonskem. A mnozí si brousí vrtné soupravy na obří naleziště ropy, zemního plynu, vzácných kovů a zemin tak potřebných pro nové technologie a zelenou tranzici. Není proto divu, že některé tradiční arktické země vznášejí nové nároky. Státy jako Dánsko, Rusko, Kanada nebo USA se dohadují komu patří podmořské hřbety a potenciální bohatství, které skrývají. A za osmi arktickými zeměmi sdruženými v Arktické radě se hlásí o slovo další jako Čína, Indie ale i evropské státy, které leží od Arktidy poměrně daleko. Přinejmenším od začátku ruské invaze na Ukrajině je také jasné, že Arktida nemusí být předmětem jen rétorických a soudních sporů a vojenských manévrů ale i otevřených konfliktů.Grónsko mnohé z těchto a dalších trendů vyjevuje bez příkras a v plné síle jako na ledovcovém projekčním plátně, které se bude postupně zmenšovat pod vlivem postupující změny klimatu. Největší ostrov světa odhaluje mnohé příležitosti. Posiluje strategický význam, který měl vždycky a láká zájem velmocí v čele s Čínou a Spojenými státy. Letos to v jednu chvíli vypadalo tak, že se USA pokusí autonomní území od svého dánského spojenc a Gróňanů vzít silou. To se podařilo zažehnat i díky rozhodné reakci evropských zemí. Ale zájem USA o území nepolevuje a Grónská krize může být prvním dějstvím nové fáze dobývání Arktidy. Dan Severn is a pioneering figure in combat sports, known for his dominance in both mixed martial arts and professional wrestling. Since his high school days in Coldwater, Michigan, Severn built his athletic foundation as an accomplished amateur wrestler, earning All-American honors at Arizona State University. He rose to prominence in the early days of the Ultimate Fighting Championship, where his grappling-heavy style and physical strength earned him the nickname, "The Beast." Severn became a two-time UFC tournament champion and later captured the UFC Superfight Championship, helping lay the foundations for the sport during its formative years with his disciplined, wrestling-based approach. Beyond MMA, Severn achieved notable success in professional wrestling, becoming a rare athlete to bridge the gap between "the octagon" and "the squared circle". He held the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship for over four years, one of the longest reigns in the title's history, and also competed in WWE during the late 1990s. Known for maintaining his amateur wrestling persona, Severn brought a unique authenticity to pro wrestling, rarely straying from his real-life fighting style. With a career spanning decades and a legacy rooted in toughness, versatility, and credibility, Severn remains one of the most respected figures in combat sports history. L'histoire de l'Anneau de Silvianus est l'une des plus fascinantes que l'archéologie nous ait jamais livrée — parce qu'elle se situe exactement à la frontière entre la réalité romaine et la fantasy du XXe siècle.Le vol et la malédictionAu IVe siècle après Jésus-Christ, un Romain du nom de Silvianus visite le temple celtique dédié au dieu guérisseur Nodens, sur les rives de la Severn dans le Gloucestershire, en Angleterre. Pendant sa visite — vraisemblablement pendant qu'il se baignait dans les thermes du temple — son anneau d'or lui est dérobé.Silvianus ne reste pas sans réagir. Il se rend au temple et grave sur une plaque de plomb — ce que les Romains appellent une defixio, une tablette de malédiction — une inscription en latin : "Au dieu Nodens. Silvianus a perdu son anneau et en a donné la moitié à Nodens. Parmi ceux qui se nomment Senicianus, ne permets aucune bonne santé jusqu'à ce qu'il soit rendu au temple de Nodens." Un homme qui vole un anneau, et une malédiction divine lancée sur le coupable. Le scénario vous rappelle quelque chose ?L'anneau retrouvéL'anneau lui-même est découvert en 1785 dans un champ près de Silchester, en Angleterre. Il est grand — 25 mm de diamètre, 12 grammes — peut-être conçu pour être porté sur un gant ou au pouce. Il porte dix facettes et un chaton carré gravé à l'effigie de la déesse Vénus, avec l'inscription : "Senicianus, vis en Dieu." La tablette de malédiction et l'anneau ne seront reliés l'un à l'autre qu'en 1929, par l'archéologue Sir Mortimer Wheeler.Tolkien entre en scèneC'est là que tout bascule. Wheeler contacte son ami et collègue J.R.R. Tolkien, alors professeur de vieil anglais à Oxford, pour l'aider à identifier le nom du dieu Nodens mentionné sur la tablette. À plusieurs reprises, Tolkien se rend en personne au temple de Nodens pour enquêter sur le mystère. À cette époque, il commence à écrire Le Hobbit, publié en 1937.Inspiration réelle ou mythe tenace ?Les similitudes sont troublantes. Les deux anneaux sont en or et disparaissent mystérieusement. Meanwhile, AI deployments are already arriving at pace, requiring collaborative engineering to fit cabinet weight, elevator limitations, and 40–50 kW rack densities within a non–purpose-built structure. As AI adoption accelerates and interconnection demand surges across the heartland, 1623 Farnam is positioning itself as one of the Midwest's most important digital crossroads—linking hyperscale backbones, cloud onramps, and emerging AI inference clusters into a cohesive regional edge.

Send us a textSevern Lang is a talented, driven director from Urbandale, Iowa. Growing up in a small town in the Midwest, life was a constant struggle for him. At a young age, Severn's brother passed away and he was diagnosed with extreme dyslexia with other life changing events, making school much harder for him than his peers. Severn, he turned to other, more creative outlets to learn, grow and find his voice. Severn preferred hands on learning to the classroom, and was able to find solace in the Boy Scouts of America, art, music, poems and mechanics. He became an Eagle Scout at sixteen and learned patience and leadership skills that he still applies to his directing and film endeavors today. In his creative endeavors,  Severn would often help hair stylists on set and discovered that he had a knack for the artistry in hair. A life decision to  attend The Professional Cosmetology Institute, located in Ames, Iowa. With his new skill he was able to move to Los Angeles where the film seed was planted and took root and blossom from the creative waters with in Los Angeles. With hopes and dreams a rise, tragedy always happens. With in Severn tragedy story he found help in unlikely places. With in the rooms of Recovery he was able work through the dirty waters of addiction in to the man he is now. With one day at a time over 10 years he has tied the long days together to make a life for him self. Severn moved to Los Angeles, where he spent ten plus years working as a hair stylist, while simultaneously pursuing opportunities in film.
