The Beast from the Sea has been pointed to as simply the end time Antichrist by many in the modern church, but this comes at the expense of a pretty important question: Who was the beast for the church of John's day? What did it mean to them. Surely it needs to refer to something more than a 2000+ year prophecy? It's my conviction that it most certainly does...

As President Trump signed Executive Order 13769 titled “Protecting the Nation From Foreign Terrorist Entry into the United States”, Section 7 of that order directed the Department of Homeland Security to “expedite the completion and implementation of a biometric entry-exit tracking system for all travelers to the United States.” In his ‘One, Big Beautiful Bill' that will become a reality in September of 2026.“And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.” Revelation 13:16,17 (KJB)On this episode of the Prophecy News Podcast, effective December 26, 2025, the new rule authorizes CBP to photograph “all aliens” (non-citizens) at all ports of entry and departure (air, sea, land) and “any other point of departure.” The legal underpinning remains 8 U.S.C. § 1365b, which obligates the Secretary of DHS to “develop a plan to accelerate the full implementation of an automated biometric entry and exit data system.” While currently aimed at non-citizens, the infrastructure built could easily later expand to include U.S. citizens. Companies like Palantir, Oracle, Microsoft and Open Ai who make up Stargate will be tasked with making all of this happen starting in 2026. He proudly counters an opposing narrative, citing new evidence unmasked by the Congress—an act that tends to shower doubt on some popular claims. The contentions under scrutiny involve the suggestion that Trump aimed to commandeer his Secret Service vehicle on the mentioned day to journey to the Capitol, as well as the contention that he didn't propose boosting security with National Guard personnel in advance of the regrettable incident. This week's Deadpod features a long second set on the occasion of Brent Mydland's first gig with the band, on April 22, 1979 in San Jose California.  The band opens with the trifecta 'I Need a Miracle' into 'Bertha' into 'Good Lovin', while it starts out a bit rough it picks up alot of energy by the end and they then go into a wonderful version of 'Scarlet Begonias' into 'Fire on the Mountain'. The transition jam into Fire is especially interesting, as is Jerry's jamming throughout that tune. 'Estimated Prophet' continues in the winning vein with some great bass contributed by Phil during the long and excellent opening jam. Brent contributes some interesting electric piano during the closing jam here matched by some very interesting Garcia lines. As this jam closes we hear a new sound from Mickey, as he goes into the fascinating 'Drums' segment with his new toy, 'The Beast', which was brought out for the first time at this show after having been constructed for the 'Apocalypse Now' movie soundtrack. There's not really a Space that follows this Drums segment but instead the band goes into 'The Other One' which is here marred by a cut in the tape.
