Send us a textPart 2 of Casey ~barf~ we'll go through, where Cindy and George believed their granddaughter was for those first 31 days that she was missing, before Casey had told anyone that she was missing. We will go through, the ONLY part of this case that I find enjoyable, the infamous visit and walk through of Universal Studios, where Casey had claimed to have worked, which was why she needed child care for Caylee in the first place. As, Casey made her way through the hallways, smiling and waiving to her 'friends' as they passed she was met by many confused faces- before inevitably rounding a corner that lead right to a dead end - after this Casey's lies would begin to unravel at a rapid pace. But, where was Caylee Marie Anthony?Support the showIf you're interested in receiving bonus episodes, early release dates, an everything scary sticker and ‘thank you' as well as a shout out on our regular feed! In this episode we'll be going through the time period after Casey's arrest on July 16th and before her arraignment on October 14th. We'll also be hearing her jail house visits, the Timer55 Theory, George and Cindy's media interviews and media appearances as well as talking about missing children's cases and how they play out in the media, and meeting a new character of this story Nancy Grace. When we last left off it was July 17th and Casey was booked into The Orange County Jail. She'd been arrested less than 24 hours after her mother Cindy had made three 911 calls, the last one frantically explaining “my granddaughter has been taken she's been missing for a month, my daughter admitted to me she's been missing for a month I just found my daughter But I can't find my granddaughter. I found my daughters car today and it smells like there's been a dead body in the damn car….This is a three year old little girl… I need to find her,” when police arrived Casey explained to them, she had left Caylee with her longterm nanny Zanny 31 days ago at Sawgrass aparmtments, she met Zanny through co-workers and her closest friends at Universal Studios where she'd worked for four years, when the detectives went to Sawgrass Apartment unit 210 had been empty for months; when Casey led detectives to her office at Universal Studios where she worked as a party planner they hit a literal dead end and told detectives “I don't really work here,” she's interrogated and placed under arrest. She gets her one jailhouse phone call asking for her boyfriend's number, the Anthony's do not realize this will later be played on the news, and she aquires Jose Baez as her attorney. Jose Baez writes in his book that one of the State's biggest mistakes was how quickly Casey was arrested, because once she was lawyered up, that was that she was not talking— but both the prosecutor Jeff Ashton and Jose Baez do offer a reason that made sense to them on the swiftness of the arrest, and that reason was a woman named Melinda Duckett.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/broads-next-door--5803223/support.

From Casey's job at Universal Studios, her best friend and co-worker Juliet Lewis, her ex co-worker current lover and Zanny's ex-boyfriend Jeffrey Hopkins. The timeline Casey gives Cindy. The discovery of Casey's car abandoned in an Amscot parking lot. The smell. A computer search for full proof suffocation. The three 911 calls Cindy makes. Casey Anthony is well known for being one of the most hated woman in America, and for good reason. After her daughter, Caylee Marie Anthony, only a toddler at the time of her disappearance, fell off the face of the earth for 31 days and Casey couldn't be bothered to call the police, the public was on high alert. This was only exacerbated as the trial of Casey Anthony proceeded, raising more questions than answers. People felt that her trial played out super similarly to the O.J Simpson murder trial, and the verdict reactions reflect that perfectly. Pretty much everybody lost their minds when Casey Anthony was found innocent of the murder of Caylee Marie Anthony, and the waters got even murkier when she did an in depth documentary called “Casey Anthony: Where the Truth Lies”. In this episode, we dive into Casey Anthony's case, her interrogation, the verdict that shook America, and try to rip apart her story. But this is only part one. In part two, we will be discussing the controversial verdict and try to figure out why a jury of her peers found the most hated woman in America to be innocent. Grab a calming herbal tea, because I guarantee that this episode will get you fired up. Comment “Justice For Caylee” if you have made it this far. . Read up on more cases at creepsandcreeps.com . Casey Anthony gave birth to her surprise baby, Caylee Marie Anthony, at the age of nineteen. Cindy Anthony, Casey's mother, hadn't seen Caylee in over a month before she realized Casey had been lying for her the entire time. Two year old Caylee had been missing for 31 days and Casey never bothered to report her missing. Thank you all so much for listening to today's episode! Caylee Marie Anthony was an American girl who lived in Orlando, Florida, with her mother, Casey Marie Anthony, and her maternal grandparents, George and Cindy Anthony. On July 15, 2008, she was reported missing in a 9-1-1 call made by Cindy, who said she had not seen Anthony for 31 days.

Caylee Anthony was the two-year-old daughter of Casey Anthony, a neglectful mother who seemed to prioritize her party lifestyle over the life of her daughter. When Caylee's grandparents asked to see their grandchild, as it had been some time since they'd been with her, Casey confessed that her daughter was allegedly taken by a nonexistent nanny, had been missing for the last 31 days, and she hadn't bothered to report it.
It knows no law, no pity, it dares all things and crushes down remorselessly all that stands in its path. Most parents feel that their main job is to protect their children from the terrors of the world, and they take this job very seriously, so when we hear of a child that seemingly was tossed to the side and forgotten, we have a very negative and visceral reaction. Agatha Christie once said that a mothers love for her child is like nothing else in the world. After all, children are the future, and they deserve a fighting chance. Two year old Caylee Marie Anthony had this chance stolen from her, she had her life stolen from her, and to this day we still don't understand why. Caylee disappeared on June 16th, 2008, and it would take six months for the world to find out what had happened to her. Her skeletal remains were found inside a laundry bag, discarded in a wooded area. There was evidence that little Caylee's mouth had been duct taped at the time of her death, and all eyes were on her young mother, Casey Anthony, who had failed to report the toddler missing for over a month, and during this time, Casey was seen at nightclubs and bars, having the time of her life. Casey had given various explanations as to Caylee's whereabouts before finally telling her that she had not seen Caylee for weeks.
