Defender Series Training Group was formed and launched by Troy Vanoostendorp as a means of helping to bridge the gaps in law enforcement training that existed between academy basics, and the real world experiences. In this week's episode I'm fortunate enough to sit down with Troy and discuss how he got to where he is today, and what he saw, and continues to see, that led him to creating Defender Series. Throughout the conversation we touch a lot on mindset and attitude, but also get into training standards, fitness, medical preparedness, stress exposure and management, and more. This was a fantastic opportunity for me to learn more about how the Law Enforcement piece of our community functions, and correct some additional information too.
