Recordem que ahir a la tarda Protecció Civil va enviar un missatge Es-Alert (ha estat la primera vegada que s’enviava per prevenir del vent) a tots els telèfons mòbils per alertar de la situació i recomanar que s'evitin desplaçaments innecessaris. Joaquim Martín, inspector de la Policia Local i coordinador dels serveis de Protecció Civil i Policia Local, explica que durant la nit hi ha hagut alguna ratxa de vent forta, fins i tot s’ha arribat als 75 km/h, i s’han produït certs incidents, tot i que per sort no s'han de lamentar danys greus: “Hem tingut la caiguda d'algun arbre, especialment en espais privats, afectació a la via pública d'alguna o altra manera, caiguda de motocicletes, moltes falses alarmes produïdes per les sobtades intensitats de vent i incidències per desplaçament de contenidors”, ha detallat. Per a l'inspector, ha estat clau la prevenció. “Gràcies al treball preventiu i la col·laboració de tothom, dins de l’excepcionalitat que suposen ratxes de vent superiors a 75 km/h com hem tingut, no hem patit grans danys”Joaquim Martín Davant d'aquesta situació, l'Ajuntament ha suspès al municipi l'activitat escolar i extraescolar, esportiva i cultural i, a més, demana a la població que només es desplaci en casos necessaris. Joaquim Martín ressalta que l'objectiu és reduir al màxim la perillositat i, en aquest sentit, demana comprensió i responsabilitat a la ciutadania. “Els serveis de seguretat el que tractem és que els riscos siguin els mínims possibles sense arribar a una paralització, mai tindrem una solució perfecta, però aquestes mesures, enteses amb la voluntat amb què es fan, són bones i són prudents”Joaquim Martín També durant el dia d'avui s'ha suspès l'activitat sanitària no urgent i es recomana, en els casos en què sigui possible, fer teletreball. En cas d'emergència, com sempre, cal trucar al 112.
