Coach Steve Barrick is in his 10th year as the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach at University of Indianapolis. Prior, Barrick served as an assistant football coach and strength and conditioning coach at Franklin Community High School. Prior to his time there, he served in the same capacity at Indian Creek High School in Trafalger, Ind. A graduate of Center Grove High School, Barrick earned a BA in sociology in 2002 from Franklin College, where he was also a four-year letterman in football. Barrick received his BS in Exercise Science from UIndy in 2010, and his MAT in Phyiscal Education/Health from UIndy in 2010. Barrick is a USAW Sports Performance Coach and Club Coach, and is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Bob was a wrestling coach at Franklin Community High School from 1986-2019. Bob's time as head coach brought great success for FCHS: His teams won 18 IHSAA Sectional, 11 Regional, 8 Semi-State, 18 County and 17 Conference team titles. Coach Hasseman, who retired in 2019, was a dedicated coach and was the driving force behind Franklin Wrestling.
