INTO THE INFERNO! After sitting through The Last Airbender for the sole purpose of synergy with the new adaptation, we had to desperately wash the taste out of our mouths. Luckily, we had both caught up to the series finale of Avatar, so we figured, why not go all-in for a double feature this week? The show's finale is highly acclaimed and has a lot to love, but will certain critiques that have come out over the years weigh it down nowadays? Come watch with Brian and Alec to find out as they revisit the blockbuster 90-minute series finale to Avatar: The Last Airbender -- Sozin's Comet!
Shamelessly promote the coming work we're doing on Inferno Saga in this episodeWho – 15 Cosplayers getting together to make a short teaser of what I've envisioned the Claremont's saga to be – with a few changes - it's not for profit, self-funded, and so far, really looking very cool. We're over on the website, and we'll put the video in as many places as we can at the end of 2022There are some shoots ongoing and everyone is filming remotely to bring the project together - let's get into the hype of the project and tell you what's in store when Season 4 concludes.Inferno Saga Project PageFind us online:https://www.heroesofcosplaysanctuary.com/Find the Sanctuary on Social:With Co-Host @astravoidcosplayFollow Her On Instagram & Join Her TikTok Community!https://linktr.ee/AstraVoidCosplay...And Host ScottyBVero: @scottybofficialLike, Comment, and SUBSCRIBE to our YouTube Channel!YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCZst......Of course you can share the video and follow us Online:Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/hocspodcast...Instagram: @heroesofcosplaysanctuaryTwitter: @hocspodcast
I've never felt that I'm good enough for Cosplay. And it creates a lot of anxiety.People can be downright awful. It's not even about the Cosplay 99% of the time. Cosplayers are very forgiving about your Cosplay, but not really about you.For some reason, Cosplayers believe that they have a level of celebrity status – at least some do, and they're protective of who they come in contact with everywhere as a result. They like the attention, but if I'm being honest, the most unapproachable people at Cons – Cosplayers…not that I'm really approaching anyone at a Con.Let's talk about those feelings we internalize when we compare our content and Cosplay-ability to everyone else and what works best to get out of that mindset.Find us online:https://www.heroesofcosplaysanctuary.com/Find the Sanctuary on Social:With Co-Host @astravoidcosplayFollow Her On Instagram & Join Her TikTok Community!https://linktr.ee/AstraVoidCosplay...And Host ScottyBVero: @scottybofficialLike, Comment, and SUBSCRIBE to our YouTube Channel!YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCZst......Of course you can share the video and follow us Online:Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/hocspodcast...Instagram: @heroesofcosplaysanctuaryTwitter: @hocspodcast
Keeping things straight – Cosplay takes a lot of organization and even more so to present yourself online. This is one area that we don't always think we're failing at, but I've seen a variety of organization in Cosplay from throwing everything together at the last minute to planning things out meticulously. The cosplay itself has a level of planning – and it's possibly the hardest but also the most organized part of putting together a showcase of the cosplay. Most know what they're looking for, where to get it, how to change it for the cosplay.Find us online:https://www.heroesofcosplaysanctuary.com/Find the Sanctuary on Social:With Co-Host @astravoidcosplayFollow Her On Instagram & Join Her TikTok Community!https://linktr.ee/AstraVoidCosplay...And Host ScottyBVero: @scottybofficialLike, Comment, and SUBSCRIBE to our YouTube Channel!YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCZst......Of course you can share the video and follow us Online:Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/hocspodcast...Instagram: @heroesofcosplaysanctuaryTwitter: @hocspodcast
Too much time, too much content, too much money – when is enough enough in Cosplay?I don't hear much about this online – how broke are we all going in the name of fandom? Is it keeping us poor or do we now have to have a donate button just to keep everything going? When do you know you've reached a limit and if we're obsessing over a fandom, how do you know if you've even reached a limit?I can't tell you when you've gone too far because this is different for everyone. If you are promoting posts, you are not paying for followers. If that's true, than every company on earth is cheating when it comes to you buying their stuff. Everyone with a business has spent money marketing their brand, product and services.Purchasing followers is exactly that – you go to a site that “sells” followers and you pay money for them to add to your following. It's really bad for your accounts, by the way.And it is marketing, not just bribing people to follow you – that isn't recommended and it's borderline crazy. You've no contract to enforce trying to literally buy followers. In this episode we're talking about the unwritten rules to media paid promotions, buying followers, and why we have rules about organic-only promotions.Find us online:https://www.heroesofcosplaysanctuary.com/Find the Sanctuary on Social:With Co-Host @astravoidcosplayFollow Her On Instagram & Join Her TikTok Community!https://linktr.ee/AstraVoidCosplay...And Host ScottyBVero: @scottybofficialLike, Comment, and SUBSCRIBE to our YouTube Channel!YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCZst......Of course you can share the video and follow us Online:Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/hocspodcast...Instagram: @heroesofcosplaysanctuaryTwitter: @hocspodcast
I'm interested in keeping it simple – less is more in Cosplay, posting, and in general. If Cosplay isn't making you money – do you want it to? Is that a priority? Because there are a lot of ways to make money that does not draw attention to you. I'm a Marketing Director – that's how I make my money. Cosplay is not something I have monetized nor is the show. But Cosplay is complicated, so how can it be broken down and kept simple?Tune in and let's dive in!Find us online:https://www.heroesofcosplaysanctuary.com/Find the Sanctuary on Social:With Co-Host @astravoidcosplayFollow Her On Instagram & Join Her TikTok Community!https://linktr.ee/AstraVoidCosplay...And Host ScottyBVero: @scottybofficialLike, Comment, and SUBSCRIBE to our YouTube Channel!YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCZst......Of course you can share the video and follow us Online:Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/hocspodcast...Instagram: @heroesofcosplaysanctuaryTwitter: @hocspodcast
The New World Order is feeding Satanic messages to your children and Tiny Diamond, a small glittery Troll doll, is their mouthpiece. When kids movies try to tell Important Stories about pluralism vs. "tribalism" they miss more than they hit. In Trolls World Tour, the Pop Trolls learn to process their white guilt and fight the genocidal Rock Trolls to preserve their individuality, and learn the truth about their genre from Queen Essence and King Quincy of the Funk Trolls in a giant UFO. We explore the film's racial archetypes, dad rock and jukebox musicals, the friend zone, and what should be done with James Corden. We also venture into Minion Death Cult-territory by reading a concerned Christian mom's thoughts on the hidden Satanism of Trolls World Tour. We kick off with a recommendation fiesta before Brandon and Chris dive into what's wrong with the current state of tech conferences, why "talking heads" are overrated, and how well-constructed panels could breathe some fresh air into the conference scene. They also reimagine Jackass in the 70's on acid. Werner Herzog doesn’t care what you think about him, about his mythos. He does care about myth, the stories people tell and why. His newest movie, "Into The Inferno," in which he tours six active volcanoes around the world, is as much about the culture and beliefs that surround volcanoes as it is about the science. Editor Alex Pasternack speaks with Herzog about his filmmaking, science and scientists, distributing his film through Netflix, and police body cameras.
