We give thanks for Godzilla's 70th anniversary! We're talkin' Toho's latest G-flick about war, trauma, family, and how to fall from Godzilla's mouth into the water, dry off completely, and then survive the blast of an atomic explosion. In short, is this already a classic or mere Oscar bait? Plus, Naomi shares her experience hearing director Takashi Yamazaki at Comic Con, including his thoughts on any sequel(!). Then, Peter Lorre reviews The Hunchback of Notre Dame (1923). Thank you for listening, friends! We're excited to share this one with ya. If you enjoy Camp Kaiju, please leave a rating and review! Pat and Aaron analyze comments from Todd Bowles in which he mentions the Bucs RB room is becoming a three man attack with Bucky Irving, Sean Tucker and Rachaad White when White returns. Sean Tucker was named FedEx ground and air player of the week in the NFL, but does that guarantee his playing time in the future? We break down what made the Bucs offense so effective in a 50-point outing on Sunday.
Yesterday, CNN's Sr Business reported described a "three headed monster" that the Biden/Harris administration was facing: War, Dockworkers' strike, and a hurricane recovery. Apparently, CNN wants to give them a pass on the "other monsters" that aren't going to leave. And the Associated Press had some interesting pieces on them - today. @RealSteveFriend will join me to discuss a week of debates, disasters, and Democrats who don't seem too worried. ______________________________________________________________ Catholic Vote on Video: https://www.youtube.com/@CatholicVote https://www.Rumble.com/CatholicVote JOIN OUR LOCALS: https://kyleseraphin.com Use PROMO CODE "KYLE" at these sites: http://PatriotCoolers.com/ (Tumblers & Coolers) http://MyPillow.com/Kyle (Pillows/Towels/Bedding) https://matthatjerky.com/kyle (premium Beef Jerky) http://The-Suspendables.com (Show Merch) http://ShieldArms.com - maker of the S10 and S15 magazines (Montana built firearms and accessories)

Join us this week as we take a trip to Japan to talk Godzilla. This is the movie that introduced the world to Godzilla's arch-nemesis, Ghidorah, the floppiest golden dragon the world has ever seen. We also get short changed on Mothra, are delighted by those little fairy ladies who summon her, and can't help but talk shit about Rodan, one of the least compelling Godzilla monsters out there. You'll learn about Kaiju, Bryan will struggle to pronounce some Japanese words, and we'll tell you all about the several eras of Godzilla. We assure you nothing less than good time.

It's Hot Ghidorah Summer, and the planet-destroying space dragon king has made his entrance! This is the movie where everything changes: it's cosmic, it's an Avengers-style team-up among Godzilla, Mothra, and Rodan, and perhaps most importantly, it's the moment Godzilla becomes a hero to cheer for. We talk about this film's shift in philosophy and Ishirō Honda's complicated feelings, along with a Biollante-esque plot that includes psychic prophecies, a Venusian spirit possessing a princess, assassins, and Hiroshi Koizumi being the hottest man to ever rock a yellow raincoat and bucket hat. Last year we had promised an episode on King Kong Escapes and Skull Island, well this year we're going to make things right. Partially right at least. King Kong Escapes and Skull Island were gonna be done as bonus episodes for KaiJUNE but things have gotten a little hectic out here so we edited the first bonus episode in with a different movie Ghidorah, the Three Headed Monster, because we can't stop this podcast until we've covered every single Godzilla movie in it's extensive catalogue.First movie we cover is King Kong Escapes. If you're excited about a sequel to King Kong vs Godzilla by the same director... well you got one of those wishes, as we cover this movie that is completely separate from the canon of the previous movie. Then we move onto the 7th Godzilla movie covered by the Bloody Good Film Podcast, Ghidorah, the Three Headed Monster. We'll see how this one stacks up against the previous ones we've covered. It's definetly out of this world! Most importantly we'll let you know whether or not King Kong Escapes and Ghidorah, the Three Headed Monster... ARE BLOODY GOOD FILMS!And remember... In his fifth film, Godzilla meets his greatest foe: Ghidorah! He will need to team up with Rodan and Mothra if he wants to save the Earth from this giant extraterrestrial dragon!
Hello, kaiju lovers! Today them Jaconetti boys, Luke and Jason, join Nate for the latest entry in “Godzilla Redux”: Ghidorah, the Three-Headed Monster. This was Toho's third kaiju film in the momentous year of 1964 and their second Godzilla film that year. As Luke puts it, it's The Avengers (2012) of Toho kaiju, where several monsters who debuted in solo films come together to face a common alien enemy. It's a momentous turning point for the franchise: Godzilla and Rodan have their “face turns,” and it's the first appearance of Godzilla's archnemesis, the three-headed golden space dragon himself, King Ghidorah. Get ready for a lively, nostalgic discussion riddled with pro-wrestling references! Before the broadcast, Nate is met by Jessica at his new mega-office. During their argument (what'd you expect?), Gary comes in along with a beautiful mystery woman, whom Jessica immediately hates. Later, Nate returns to his office where he argues with Jessica again, only for Gary to come begging for help—just as the mystery woman reveals herself to be a Bug Lady from the Church of Mothrianity! Check out all of Luke and Jason's podcast at Two True Freaks: https://twotruefreaks.com/podcast/. The prologue and epilogue, “Jessica has a Romantic Rival! Like much of the GODZILLA franchise, GHIDORAH: THE THREE-HEADED MONSTER is more focused on the fun of watching giant monsters duke it out and the innate humor in their skyborne rivalries. While the story is less about Godzilla himself, it's a superb example of what made mid-career GODZILLA movies so special and worth discussing: Like a great martial arts movie, it's a case study in integrating humor into physical performance, and how it can open up an unsuspecting audience to a movie's conceptual and thematic content.
