Join Matt and Curtis as they break down the MYP He-Man and the Masters of the Universe series from 2002! Each week they'll discuss an episode until all 39 are done! This week the boys discuss Mekaneck's Lament!
See, he's got a mechanical neck, so he's MEKANECK. Get it? He's also got mechanical arms and legs and...yeah he should have just been "Mekaman" right? We think so, too. Enjoy!

It's back to the 80s toy-cartoon crossovers this episode as we look at the craze of robots changing into vehicles, but it's not the one you instantly though of. No, not Transformers, but the bastard step-child of the transforming robot genre, The Go-Bots, or as it was known here in Australia, Machine Men. We talk toys, the "Challenge of the Go-Bots" TV series, the absurdity of the Rock Lords, and Mitch gets a little off topic to discuss why Mekaneck is his favourite He-man charactor.
Episode 008: Nerd Skool: Iron Man 2: I Am Everybody, Everybody Is Me. Artstar says if you get something signed and sell it, you’re a loser. Can Artstar draw Mekaneck and Trapjaw? Is Disney owning Marvel a good thing?, Is the Stark Expo similar to Comic Con? How can you tell if someone is a nerd? Plus: Underoos are back. We decided to revisit the man who proved that you never want to let Man-at Arms know you have an injury, Mekaneck! One of the characters to feature one of the more striking action features, this boy in blue with silver boots, could stretch his neck out almost the whole length of his body, allowing him to spy on the enemy and look completely bonkers at the same time! He's one of our favorite characters from the MOTU, and we can only hope he makes it into the live action film coming sometime in 2020! Subscribe to MEGA and enjoy this episode!
Welcome to season 2 of the "Shh, The Movie Is Starting" podcast! For the first episode of the new season hosts Jeremiah and Chris brought back one of their most popular guests - Brian Graupner of the band The Gothsicles! And boy howdy did he pick a doozy of a flick too. We here at "Shh, The Movie Is Starting" love the Cannon Group (aka Cannon Films) and their stable of cheesy C-grade movies, which is why we were thrilled to have Brian choose to watch "American Ninja 2: The Confrontation" as it fits right into that description. Ninjas, the Dudikoff and a live action Mekaneck. What more could you want in a flick?!
In our lateste episode, Eddie features one of the quirkiest characters in The Masters of the Universe. Mekaneck! Mekaneck had one the most striking "action" features in that the figure's neck would extend from his torso and elevate his head above the heads of most of all the Masters of the Universe figures! How this feature was showcased in the comic and the animated series was sort of all over the place, but honestly, that what makes Mekaneck and The Masters of the Universe so fun! Here's a weird and fun character, now fly with your imaginations kids!! Create your own stories and enjoy your childhoods!! Okay, I'm going to go play with Mekaneck a little now...
This guy gives new meaning to the term “rubberneckin'”….actually he doesn’t, and I apologize for that “joke.” This week, Taylor and Jeff are discussing Mekaneck, from the Masters of the Universe line. I’ll give you 3 guesses what HIS special … Continue reading →

Did you know we're finally getting Mekaneck? Oh and what a neck it is. Speaking of Meka's, we're also getting a mechanized Darth Maul in a Battle Pack with one of the hardest to find Clone Wars figures and a fan favorite. Even if the Voyager Fall of Cybertron Soundwave poops out his data discs (never knew difference of disc vs. disk), I still love him with all my heart. Something else I love is YoJoe.com's new Toy Archive. It's amazing when the best get better.
