Turn On Your Goddessness ~Yuryra Guzman The space of Goddessness is where you are in connexion with everything and everyone, the joy of movement gets you out of the separation with your body and invites you to be present and enjoy the embodiment. Tara Silha, my guest, knows about that joy and the way it can contribute to every area in your life. Tara Silha is the Founder, /Instructor/Creative Director/Choreographer of Rock That Body Dance Fitness , a community of lovers of fitness, music, and empowerment using the movement of the body in a space free of judgement . Tara is also an Instructor/Choreographer at Tanya's Dance Company in Bozeman, Montana where she train children for dance tournaments. Rock That Body, LLC. officially started in September of 2014. Tara has been teaching group fitness for over 13 years and is passionate about helping women and men of all ages find their fitness goals and coaching them to achieve those goals - whatever they may be! Tara grew up in Eastern Montana (YES! a proud Montana born and raised girl!) dancing and that love of dance opened a door years later in the Group Fitness world! She started very small teaching a class one day a week at a local fitness club called 'Dance Grooves.' After giving that a whirl, she decided to get her Zumba license and began teaching that two days a week. She found great joy leading and meeting so many new people in the fitness community and her Zumba class began to grow AND take on a new 'design.' After a few years teaching Zumba, Tara created her own spin on the popular dance fitness class - it was coined 'Cardio Party' and found great acceptance at the club. After a few more years, it was time to take a risk and Tara went out on her own with 'Rawckk That Body' (stemming from the nickname given to her at the fitness center - 'TRawckk!') and has found great pleasure in working with and meeting so many wonderful people in the Gallatin Valley. After a couple years teaching independently, it was time again to revamp things - our new name 'Rock That Body!' Same great class. Same great fitness community. Same passion. https://rtbfitness.weebly.com/ rockthatbody2012@gmail.com Join in the Live Chat Room too!!! http://inspiredchoicesnetwork.com/chatroom Yuryra's Book: I'm Having It! Shawn is joined on this week's episode with influencer and educator, Gigi Robinson, and the girls are covering a lot of ground. Shawn and Gigi discuss popular culture and social media, and how it affects our body image. Gigi shares her best tips on how to feel confident in your skin and practice self love (which yes, this includes masturbating). Gigi dives deep into her struggles with chronic illness and how it has affected her dating and sex life. The girls discuss when is the right time to disclose to a potential romantic partner something that can be difficult to share-- whether it be that you have a chronic illness, mental health issues, or even a kid. Shawn then of course talks with Gigi about her dating app goals, why men are intimidated by outspoken women, what kind of guys she's into, and what she is truly looking for. ROCK THAT BODY! | Why taking care of your body has everything to do with your relationship with God Do you struggle to say, “no” to the extra piece of pizza or the second bowl of ice cream? Have you bought the gym membership only to stop using it after a few months? Do you justify that you can make it on six hours of sleep and a few cups of coffee? Here’s another question: have you ever considered that your physical body has everything to do with your spiritual life? God gave us our bodies and they are the only ones we will have on this side of eternity. We should love our bodies and take care of them so that they can serve as instruments useful to God for his purpose. That’s some body that God has given you and what you do with it matters.
