What if you could get dressed everyday without negative body talk? And what if you could feel confident in your body without changing what you eat? Today on the podcast, we are going to cover 5 specific ways to feel more confident in your body on a daily basis. And why do we want to experience confidence in our bodies? Confidence allows us to: Eat ice cream AND feel confident your body can handle it. Put on a bathing suit without freaking out over what your stomach looks like. Eat for the entire day without logging it into My Fitness Pal. Trust that your body has your back, allowing flexible health habits in your life that stick. Confidence in your body goes so much deeper than confidence in the way your body looks. It's confidence in what your body can do for you, the life it facilitates for you. I mean think about it, you're going to live in this body for the rest of your life. Don't you want to feel confident in your body, not so much from a looks perspective although that's great too, but more so confidence that your body will and can take care of you? If you are ready to gain the tools to have confidence in your body for life: Food & Body Peace Playbook (FBPP) is our signature 8 week group coaching program that will help you build trust in your body so that you can gain confidence in it. And what this means to you is that you can wake up everyday, feeling excited to get dressed. FBPP covers three tiers of body image work (understanding our body beliefs, body image is brain work, and how to respect and come home to your body) so that you can experience confidence again in your body. If someone asked you to model bathing suits and lingerie in your 40-something, plus-sized body and silver hair, would you do it? Would you kick limiting societal beliefs about how a midlife body should look to the curb, lean in and do it anyway? Or would you think of a hundred reasons why you shouldn't and let the opportunity pass you by?In the case of Reinvention Rebel Rachel Peru, she leaned in, quieted her naysayer mind, and created a whole new, empowered life.Rachel celebrates her body just the way it is, reminding us that every body is a beautiful body in all our exquisite shapes and sizes. She's built body confidence, not just in herself but others too.And she started a fabulous podcast, Out of the Bubble, that celebrates stories of empowered midlife women finding their voice and groove, expanding their lives in kickass ways.In this encouraging, I-can-do-anything interview, I love what Rachel shares about:✅ How she found midlife confidence and went for it✅ Why it's so important to say Yes to our dreams, no matter our age✅ How curiosity helped kickstart her modeling career at 46 (you'll love her story!)✅ How she shifted her mindset to one of self-acceptance✅ How skydiving helped increase her comfort zone✅ What she learned from sharing others' stories on her podcast and what inspires her most about midlife womenAnd that's just a tiny piece of what makes Rachel a fierce Reinvention Rebel. She shares abundant midlife wisdom in uplifting ways. I can't wait for you to listen and soak up her expansive ideas about what midlife can be for any of us. Most of us have a love and hate relationship with taking photos of ourselves. The way we relate to images of ourselves is a complex and deep experience. After all, there's nothing more vulnerable than standing in front of a camera and exposing the rawness of your being. In this episode of Whole, Full, & Alive, Caitie and Devin Archilla dive into photography and, in particular, Boudoir. They talk about how this intimate style of photography can be reclaimed and serve as a tool to honor your body. Devin shares her personal healing experience through Boudoir and how she helps women change the narrative in how they see themselves in photographs.
In this episode I break down how to finally stop blaming your body for not fitting into a certain size and how to start feeling confident in your clothes. I also break down how I'm managing body image issues while wedding dress shopping and how to let it not ruin the experience. Brides & anyone feeling less than confident in their clothes everyday...this one's for you!
We make decisions in everything we do—even the simple act of choosing what to eat is making a decision. But oftentimes, it's difficult to know whether we're deciding based on our intuition or not. Sometimes, it's anxiety's voice telling us to do or not to do something. And if we end up listening to the wrong voice, we may end up stuck in a place that is harmful in the long run. In the sixth episode of Whole, Full, & Alive, Caitie delves into the topic of decision-making. She explores the two voices—intuition and anxiety—that influence how we decide on everything in life. Learn how to make intuitive decisions in both small and big life events. If you want to start making intuitive decisions that allow you to grow, listen to this episode!
Did you know that your thoughts about your body determine how you feel about your body? It's easy to believe that if you could just lose a few pounds, or if you could change the way you look, then you'd be able to accept your body. In reality, what you weigh and the size you wear are just facts. We call these facts "circumstances". Your circumstance DOES NOT create your feelings. Instead, your THOUGHTS about your circumstance determine how you feel.In this episode, I explore the importance of choosing your thoughts wisely. I show you how choosing your thoughts can help you change your opinion about your body for the better.WANT TO WORK WITH ME ONE ON ONE?Schedule a free no-pressure consultation now. They talk about the emotions around money, cultivating a healthy money mindset, and building your financial story. Financial advisor Meera Meyer builds on her money expertise and shares how you can feel empowered around money to invest confidently and generate wealth. My guest today is Sarah Neill, CEO and the founder of Mys Tyler, an app where customers can find ‘like bodied' fashion creators and personal stylists to help them feel more confident in what they're buying. And in a retail first, the Mirvac portfolio of shopping centres in Australia is partnering with the Mys Tyler app and The Embrace Hub bringing together aspirational online content and relatable, inclusive in-store experiences for customers of all ages, shapes and sizes, driving genuine changes in the narrative around body confidence. In the first 2 weeks of September within Mirvac owned shopping centres in Australia, customers can access an incredibly diverse range of personal stylists and fashion experts both online and in their local centre; via masterclasses, fashion shows, Style QAs and one on one styling sessions; these are conducted by real women, of all ages, shapes and sizes, and they're there to help inspire, educate and include you in conversations around dressing to make you feel good. All ticket sales from these styling events go to supporting initiatives that will change the narrative around body confidence through The EMBRACE Hub. If you're based in Queensland, experience the Full Bloom styling sessions and events at Orion Springfield Central & Kawana Shoppingworld. For all our NSW listeners catch all the action at Birkenhead Point, Broadway, Greenwood Plaza, Metcentre and Stanhope Village. Tickets can be purchased on the shopping centre websites now. The Mys Tyler platform is paving the way for stylists by helping connect customers and clients with fashion experts they know will understand their unique bodyshape - ALL STYLISTS are invited to join the app as creators.
When was the last time you felt comfortable in your own skin? With society's constant bombardment of what we should and should not look like, it's not easy to find peace with our body image. And when we can't extend love to ourselves, it stretches out to how we show up in other parts of our lives as well. The journey will be difficult and uncomfortable, but you can reframe the narrative and start taking your power back. In the fourth episode of Whole, Full, & Alive, Caitie and Brianna explore body image and how it extends to other areas of life. How do we navigate grief around how we perceive our bodies? Body image coach Brianna Campos shares her experience making peace with her body image and how now she helps former body grievers do the same. If you find yourself stuck and sitting with body grief, listen to this episode and start making peace with yourself!

What are the things that you think you need to “complete” you? What things do you feel you need to have or accomplish in order to feel whole? Believe it or not, the endless pursuit of some of these things might be holding you back from truly living the life you love and deserve. You will never feel as good as you can possibly feel if you depend on something outside of yourself to feel complete. In Whole, Full, & Alive's pilot episode, Caitie reflects on “wholeness”, its importance, and how we can reach the state of feeling complete and ‘whole' on our own. Tune in and discover sustainable actions that will empower you to feel whole and build that home within you.

Women are always being hit by something as it relates to our bodies, whether it is the Freshman 15, relationship weight or our bodies stretching and swagging after pregnancy and birth. In this world, it is nearly impossible to not be highly aware of the changes in our bodies and how they may not match up to what we see on social media or television. While we completely support plastic surgery, mommy makeovers, etc. we also realize that the changes we want to see have to start in our minds and hearts or we will never be satisfied. The self-love journey is not always an easy one and we are all still walking through it! But when we do that, we are missing out on the sparkly, shiny, and wonderful life we could be having. Cliona Byrne is a body confidence coach. Her mission is to help adults, parents, and teens all over the world and from all walks of life boost their body image without having to change themselves physically. On this episode of Wickedly Smart Women, Cliona joins Anjel to discuss her journey from being bullied for her looks to sharing body confidence.
