Today was the first show in the post SaveJXN era of the Clay Edwards Show and I have to say that I personally enjoyed the hell out of it and hope you all did too. The fact that the live viewership doubled throughout the show let's me know that people were sharing it because they also enjoyed it so thank you!! 1- We open the show with Pearl, Mississippi Mayor Jake Windham telling us all about what's going on in Pearl Saturday for the annual Pearl Day festival that concludes Saturday night with a free concert headlined by Poison lead singer Bret Michaels & co-headliner WARRANT!! We also take a dive into the state of the state of Pearl and all of the great work Jake's team has done with revitalizing the Hwy 80 corridor over the last decade or so. 2- I discuss last nights NFL draft and the fact the Ole Miss QB Jaxon Dart got drafted by the New York Giants as well as giving the recent draftees some advice about how to protect their money from "Insta-Skanks" that want to become "baby mommas". 3- Last night in on Hwy 49 in Richland, Mississippi, Rankin county law enforcement had a shootout and standoff with a terrorist that ended with a LEO Sniper taking the terrorist out. I tell you guys everything I know and issue the terrorist a FAFO championship 4- The story about the terrorist FAFO'ing in Rankin County reminded me of the time that the Westboro Baptist Church came to Brandon back in 2011 to protest a fallen Mississippi Marines funeral and found out the hard way that we do NOT play that shit down here!! 5- Angel "Mic Magazine" Buckner called in to tell a story about a time she personally dealt with racism in real life, and it wasn't in Mississippi. You might be surprised to find out where it was and hear what she has to say about it is as she fought back tears. 6- We got a crazy phone call from who I believe was the baby momma of Hector Custode, who's the accused child sex predator from the local car dealership that was exposed last week on the Pred V. Prey Facebook page. Rather the caller was the baby momma or not it motivated me to tell the story about how she has been stalking me and sharing information about Bryce (the content creator who exposed Hector) trying to tarnish him image as if it's somehow going to change what anyone thinks about Hectors image. We try to decide why she feels the need to defend Hector after he was caught on tape admitting to what he admitted to.

fWotD Episode 2884: Interstate 182 Welcome to Featured Wiki of the Day, your daily dose of knowledge from Wikipedia’s finest articles. The featured article for Friday, 28 March 2025 is Interstate 182.Interstate 182 (I-182) is an east–west auxiliary Interstate Highway in the U. S. state of Washington. It serves as a connector from I-82 to the Tri-Cities region that crosses the Columbia River on the Interstate 182 Bridge between Richland and Pasco. I-182 is 15 miles (24 km) long and entirely concurrent with U. S. Route 12 (US 12); it also intersects State Route 240 (SR 240) and US 395.Business leaders in the Tri-Cities began lobbying for a freeway in 1958 after early alignments for I-82 were routed away from the area. I-182 was created by the federal government in 1969 as a compromise to the routing dispute, which allowed for direct access to the Tri-Cities and a bypass for other traffic. The new freeway would also include construction of a bridge between Richland and Pasco, proposed since the 1940s at the site of an earlier cable ferry that ran until 1931.Construction on I-182 was scheduled to begin in 1971, but was delayed by opposition from conservation groups, disputes over interchange locations, and a federal freeze on highway funding in 1980. The first section to be built, over the Yakima River west of Richland, began construction in late 1980 and opened to traffic three years later. The Interstate 182 Bridge opened in November 1984 and linked to a longer section opened a month earlier in Pasco connecting to the existing US 12 bypass. The final sections of the freeway, between I-82 and Richland, opened to traffic in March 1986.This recording reflects the Wikipedia text as of 00:30 UTC on Friday, 28 March 2025.For the full current version of the article, see Interstate 182 on Wikipedia. This podcast uses content from Wikipedia under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike License.Visit our archives at wikioftheday.com and subscribe to stay updated on new episodes.Follow us on Mastodon at @wikioftheday@masto.ai.Also check out Curmudgeon's Corner, a current events podcast.Until next time, I'm neural Brian.

For decades, the Hanford Site in central Washington produced plutonium for the United States’ nuclear arsenal. But since its operations were shuttered, starting in the 1960s, the site has become an ongoing headache for regulators in charge of cleaning up its radioactive waste. Today, there are 177 underground storage tanks housing 56 million gallons of the country’s most toxic radioactive waste at Hanford. It’s expected to cost billions of dollars over the next several decades to completely dispose of it. However, Project 2025 – a political initiative authored by a think tank called the Heritage Foundation – could change the current plan for Hanford, and its waste. Project 2025 is a political initiative considered to be a policy blueprint for the Trump administration, though President Trump ended up distancing himself from some of its policies during the height of its attention during his campaign last year. Since being elected, however, he’s also brought on some of the project’s architects for cabinet nominees. That includes Russell Vought, who authored a chapter of Project 2025 and is going through confirmation hearings to lead the Office of Management and Budget. While not yet confirmed, Vote’s been credited as the architect of the federal funding freeze that sent many federal agencies into chaos this week. Soundside was joined by reporters Anna King and Jeanie Lindsay to discuss the project's strategy for dealing with Hanford's waste, and if Project 2025 has any bearing on President Trump's second term in office. Thirty years ago, in a small town in Washington State, a young twenty-something man stood surrounded by five elderly men in a leaky, damp building doing something that would change the trajectory of his entire life. In that moment, Kelly Hughes made a commitment that would shape his destiny and give him a new purpose in life. From that time forward, as an Odd Fellow, Kelly would work tirelessly for the betterment of his community, his lodge, and his jurisdiction. Through his work, Skookumchuck Lodge No. 129 was able to get their building renovated (no more leaky roof!) and they were able to grow and sustain themselves. That spirit of hard work and leadership eventually propelled Kelly to the top office in Washington, serving as Grand Master for 2017-18. His mid-life crisis brought him to Florida where he eventually joined a lodge and became Grand Secretary. During his time in Florida the jurisdiction has chartered two new lodges with another one scheduled for institution in the coming months. In this long-ranging interview, Brother Kelly shares his story with us and gives us information about what has been successful in Florida and lays out his vision for the future of Odd Fellowship. It's a lengthy interview, but definitely worth listening to all the way through as Kelly has an incredible insight into the current state and future of Odd Fellowship. The Shoutout goes to a lodge which has reclaimed its charter after going dormant for a few years, Richland #338 in Washington State. In the Odd Podge, Toby recounts his gig at a former Odd Fellows Hall in Bellingham that has been beautifully preserved, Kelly talks about the musical legacy of the lodge in Lynn Haven, Florida, and Ainslie gives a sneak preview of the tattoo gathering that he's planning for Sovereign Grand Lodge this year in Charleston, WV.

Lurch and I, as well as the Patreon members in private chat discuss many tips. Motorcyclists remain an exception to the overall decline in U.S. highway fatalities, according to recent data from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). In the first half of 2024, motor vehicle fatalities dropped by 3.2% compared to 2023, with declines across almost all categories, including pedestrians, bicyclists, and passenger vehicle occupants. However, motorcyclist fatalities rose by 1%, standing out as a rare increase alongside a similar rise for individuals over 65. This reflects a long-term trend where fatalities among motorcyclists, bicyclists, and pedestrians constitute a growing proportion of overall traffic deaths, while fatalities for occupants of cars and trucks decline. SUPPORT US AND SHOP IN THE OFFICIAL LAW ABIDING BIKER STORE Modern automotive safety features such as anti-lock brakes, traction control, and adaptive cruise control have significantly improved passenger safety, reducing crash severity. However, motorcycles, even with advanced features, remain inherently less protective in crashes. While some motorcyclists point to distracted drivers as a major cause, self-inflicted risks also play a significant role. Nearly half of fatal motorcycle crashes are single-vehicle incidents, and about 25% involve alcohol, underscoring the importance of rider responsibility in reducing fatalities. FLORENCE, Miss. (WLBT) - A man is in custody after a police chase in Rankin County. Tuesday, Florence Police Chief Brad Burns told WLBT 3 On Your Side that officers attempted to make a traffic stop on a 2011 Black GMC Yukon on Highway 49 for improper equipment violations. Chief Burns said that while officers attempted to get the suspect and driver of the vehicle, Thomas Fresquez, out of the vehicle, he took off, and a chase ensued. Florence police said the driver ran multiple red lights into the city of Richland. With Richland PD's assistance, the Yukon was spiked near Kroger, where it was a successful hit as three tires were disabled.
