Hacemos balance de Premios Lion, certamen pionero en España, con el que han colaborado Radio 3 como medio oficial y Alma de león como altavoz, no solo de esas nuevas propuestas premiadas, sino también de esos reconocimientos atendiendo a trayectoria e impacto artístico. Über ein Dutzend nationaler und internationaler Reggae-Sängerinnen performen über ein Instrumental, das durch eine Initiative von Open Seasons Gitarrist Res Staudenmann entstand und in Zusammenarbeit mit Ludovic Hoarau, Oli Bösch und Thomas Ola produziert wurde. Darunter befinden sich aufstrebende Künstlerinnen wie Joby Jay aus Jamaica, SumeRR aus Spanien und Samora aus den Niederlanden. Wie Jo Elle mit «Soulmate» haben die drei Sängerinnen mit «Queens», «Black» und «Free Up» ihre eigenen Singles veröffentlicht und rücken damit weibliche Stimmen in den Fokus der Reggae- und Musikfans allgemein. Ziel des Projekts ist es, die Aufmerksamkeit der Öffentlichkeit auf Künstlerinnen zu richten, die – trotz Erfolgen von Shooting Stars der Szene wie Koffee und Lila Iké – noch immer nicht die Aufmerksamkeit erhalten, die sie verdienen. Das Album «Female Reggae Voices» erscheint Mitte Sommer 2020.
