Titres interprétés au grand studio- Give Your Steady Love Live RFI- Fine & Steady, extrait de l'album- Down The Steady Street Live RFI.Line Up : Hawa (chant), Rémy Kaprielan (batterie), Pierre Vadon (claviers), Nicolas Mondon (guitare) et Kamal Mazouni (basse).Son : Mathias Taylor & Benoît Letirant.► Album Steady (La Ruche / Inouïe 2024).Facebook - YouTube - instagram. Mangane EPK - facebook - Laborie Jazz.

The inspiration for this week's mixtape is down to correspondence with John Matthews, a person whose musical knowledge and taste I trust more than most. The inclusion of Fat White Family remixed by Arab Acid? That was John. Also while listening to the Face Radio this week- on The London Hippy I heard Barcelona duo Magik Brother & Mystic Sister, and on The Free Design a song by Chapterhouse - and they sounded so great, I was inspired to play different tracks by these bands. As spring turns to summer and the flowers bloom, it's a mixtape full of dream pop, shoegaze and psychedelic folk, sounds to drift away in a field of flowers. Get the earbuds on and walk the dog, or just listen.Music; Yellowman, Big Audio Dynamite, Magik Brother & Mystic Sister, The Cure, Chapterhouse, Fat White Family, Acid Arib, Spiritualized and loads more. Ty Yellowman is at a turning point in his life. He's about ready to graduate from college. But he has already had enough experiences that he recognizes how blessed he is. He has wonderful people in his life, including his parents, institute leaders, and church leaders. He served a mission where he learned time management skills as well as spiritual skills. He has seen how scriptures can be likened to him. And he has witnessed the priesthood in action. He knows that as he moves forward, if he trusts in our Father in Heaven, he can be led and have prayers answered. This is faith--using what you know and hope for, and then going and doing.

However, Badda Skat's journey in music began back in 2000 with a release of numerous tunes online. This eventually led to a collaboration between Jah Roots and Badda Skat which resulted in Badda's debut album GRASS ROOTS. This was later reproduced and remastered in the traditional "dub" format and released as GRASS DUBS. Both are currently available on all digital distribution outlets such as iTunes and Amazon, as well as online streaming outlets like Pandora and Spotify. Badda also recently released a completely self-produced EP entitled MI JACARANDA, which debuted in vinyl format.More than just a band though, Badda and his team of musicians strive to promote a conscious message in all of the music they perform. Taking their positions with high responsibility, The Badda Skat Band use their original songs to deliver insightful and inspiring lyrics that will leave the audience cheering for more. Already writing and recording new material, the Badda Skat Band has released a brand new EP titled High Grade Reggae, which is available for FREE download via baddaskat.com. Gaining the interest of fans around the US and abroad, Badda Skat has enjoyed opening for various international acts such as Protoje, Kybaka Pyramid, Jesse Royal, Iba Mahr, Collie Buddz, Yellowman, The Original Wailers, Eek-a-Mouse, Black Uhuru, Morgan Heritage, Julian Marley, Gyptian, 311, Less Than Jake, and Matisyahu.  In 2017, a nearly sold out crowd packed Jannus Live in St. Petersburg for a reggae show with 4 international headliners, for which The Badda Skat Band was scheduled to open. Unfortunately, the headliners were unable to perform due to travel issues, but The Badda Skat Band went on to play for over 90 minutes! People are still talking about their show saving performance!

Winston Foster grew up in a Catholic orphanage called Alpha Boys School in Kingston, and was shunned due to having albinism, which was not typically socially accepted in Jamaica. Alpha Boys School was known for its musical alumni. In the late 1970s Yellowman first gained wide attention when he won a contest event in Kingston, Jamaica, called the Tastee Talent Contest where deejays would perform toasting. Like many Jamaican deejays, he honed his talents by frequently performing at outdoor sound-system dances. In 1981, after becoming significantly popular throughout Jamaica, Yellowman became the first dancehall artist to be signed to a major American label (Columbia Records). One reviewer of Yellowman was quoted as saying "Listening to Yellowman sing is like watching Michael Jordan play basketball. He knows he's got it, you know he's got it, and it's a trip just experiencing him perform

Live Chat: Happy Hour Jamaica Style with Princess Zambia and Friends King Yellowman has an incredible history in Reggae music. His upbringing at the Maxfield Home orphanage in Kingston and being albino in Jamaica were two obstacles the he overcame and went on to be (at one time) the biggest reggae artist since Bob Marley. After winning a talent contest at Tastee Patties in Kingston, Yellow went on to excite reggae crowds all over Jamaica and the rest of the world with his boastful and sometimes bodacious lyrics. His ability to ride rhythm and excite a crowd made Yellow an instant hit in Jamaica. He also began to work with the Ace Sound System in St. Thomas and drew big crowds at his dancehall performances. Later in his career, Yellow began to spread out and work for a number of different producers, sometimes releasing as many as five albums per year. This led to a recording contract with CBS Records.  There is no shortage of hot Jamaican spot on radio on a friday night, but crsradio.com/caribbeanradioshow.com with Princess Zambia , Princess Grace and friends is unique in offering great laughter, every friday night from 5pm -8pm .  Deejay, Singer, Rapper and Dub Poet are just few of the titles that can describe  MAJAH BLESS.With a lyrical genius of the same caliber as Peter Tosh and performance intensity similar to Buju Banton, MAJAH BLESS represents the best expression of artistic fusion. Happy Hour with princess Zambia, princess Grace Dr.Ev Pushitz record jamaican cowboy K'reema is a powerful vocalist, singer, and talented songwriter who was born into music. Daughter to the legendary Dancehall King, Yellowman, music is literally in her blood! She captivates with her effortless vocal prowess, and mesmerizes with her stage presence. Born in Kingston, Jamaica, and living in the US for the last few years, K'reema has adapted her own style of music she describes as "born and grow". A fusion of the Reggae and Dancehall she was born into with the Pop and R&B she grew up to. Sister Sauti is a Japanese Reggae singer /songwriter based in Osaka Japan. She started her music career in 2004 and after collaborating with a lot of Jamaican/Japanese Reggae artists and bands, her 1st full album "ONE GROOVE" was released in 2007 from LIFE SAVER STUDIO, Osaka Japan. In 2008, she was selected to be one of the finalists at the competition for performing at Yokohama Reggae Festival (the biggest annual Reggae event in Japan hosted by Mighty Crown), and gave a big impact to the Reggae massive in Japan with her Roots Rock/ Foundation/ Lovers Rock style unlike other "Japanese" reggae artists for she got some real groove like original Jamaican singers. In 2009, she moved to Western Africa (Nigeria) and lived there for years and got inspired by African beat, groove, life and culture before moving back to Japan in 2014. Some says that her sensual, heavenly voice and the catchy melody makes you feel one freedom, or, she sings like a mermaid swimming in the blue lagoon of the Island, but those lyrics she writes in Japanese and English also are both deep, beautiful, conscious and powerful.
