We talk beefs (beeves?), dig into Internet drama, and have fun. The NBA is now a 365-day league and it's never been more present in pop culture. From Kevin Durant's burner accounts to LeBron taking his talents anywhere to trusting the Process, the NBA is becoming a pop culture requirement. At the same time, sports can have gatekeepers that make it insular and frustrating for people who aren't die hard fans. We're here to prove that basketball is entertaining to follow for all fans, whether you're actively watching the games or not. Recently featured in The New York Times! I wandered into one of my favorite Brooklyn places, The Brick Theater and they were having a great art exhibition by some of their most hilarious, creative performers who also make art. The artists are - Fareeha Khan, Felipe Di Poi, Lorelei Ramirez, Marissa Goldman, Tawanda Gona, Tim Platt, Whitley Watson I knew Lorelei Ramirez a bit and always loved her work so I asked her and an animator, Felipe Di Poi, who's work I loved as well, to talk about how visual art has been a good outlet for them during these trying times. I'd like to share a "before times" session I did with the Bricks artistic director, Theresa Buckheister as well. As I always maintain, artists are like cockroaches, they will remain through everything—so here's some proof of that.

The conversation runs long this week on Make It Stop as comedian and music critic Tawanda Gona joins Heather and Mike to feast on a stale cracker. In 2017, after a lengthy string of disappointing releases, Eminem released Revival, arguably his most despicable album yet. With a bloated 80+ minute runtime, and a smorgasbord of tryhard slant rhymes, outdated edgelord humor, and convoluted double entendres, Revival may just be the least enjoyable album any of us have ever heard. To soothe the pain, we try to make sense of Eminem's place in today's world. Is he more like The Simpsons or The Undertaker? Whatever the case, they all need to just Make It Stop.CW: We discuss Eminem's lyrics, many of which are misogynistic, homophobic, ableist, and contain references to r*pe.
