Hummer wandern deshalb nach Norden oder in tiefere, kühlere Gewässer ab. Das vermindert die Fortpflanzung, da Hitze Stress verursacht.Von den Veränderungen betroffen sind nicht nur die Hummer. Schwärme von Fischen ziehen weiter in den Norden, wo es kälter ist. Meeresschildkröten wiederum verpassen es, rechtzeitig für den Winter in den Süden aufzubrechen, Wale finden kein Plankton mehr.
