GENOCIDE PACT returns with their eponymous new full-length, set for release December 3rd via Relapse Records. An overdose of gut-wrenching death metal, Genocide Pact is heavy, engrossing, and undoubtedly brutal. “This album reflects on the feeling of watching the world crumble while dealing with personal tragedy,” says guitarist/vocalist Tim Mullaney. True to his word, every track on Genocide Pact is a sonic assault brimming with palpable malaise. From the guttural screams in the album's opener “Led To Extinction,” to the driving double bass that carries “Perverse Dominion,” and a head rattling low end on “Deprive Degrade,” Genocide Pact is wholly negative death metal. The fury behind Genocide Pact captures the band's collective frustrations and personal journeys through these turbulent times. “You turn on the news and see mass shootings, a global pandemic, endless war, and corporations and politicians trying to sell you bullshit,” says Mullaney. “You pick up your phone and another friend or family member has died. On top of that, you're broke as fuck and work endlessly for a boss that doesn't even know your name. You find yourself paranoid, pissed off, and embracing nihilism.” GENOCIDE PACT has learned to embrace the negativity, churning out one of 2021's ugliest and unforgiving records. Genocide Pact will be released on CD, LP and digital formats. Find physical preorders HERE and digital downloads / streaming services HERE. In the latest episode of Big Ideas, Small Business with Doreen Milano, Doreen interviews Tim Mullaney, Financial Professional of Wealthwave Crusade. The interview consists of two sections: a book review that assists in understanding how money works, and Tim’s business in the financial industry. Have you ever tried to read a book about finance and find yourself falling asleep? During the first half, Tim talks about the book How Money Works: Stop Being A SUCKER (Matthews, Siebold, 2019) and how the book is an easy read. As Tim discusses with Doreen, most financial books are long, boring, and can put you to sleep. This book is only around 100 pages and has illustrations, so it is fun and interesting to read with great information. It is geared toward the reading level of a 14-year-old and has eight different characters, which makes the book very relatable. The book can be purchased on Amazon or you can reach out to producers of this episode and they will get a book to you. How much of the population understands how money works? Tim says around 30% DO NOT understand how money works. This book makes it easy to understand the financial intricacies without being cumbersome. In fact, there is an ongoing effort to get legislation passed to have the book available in schools so that our upcoming generations can learn how to manage their money. Tim has videos for each chapter of the book that he shares in a weekly class he hosts. The videos are also available On Demand making them highly accessible for group training or continued education. Tim says the book is also a great employee benefit as it helps them learn how to manage their money. What is the number one action item we should be doing with our money? Start saving now. If you save $7 per day, it adds up to over $2,500 annually. During the second half of the interview, Tim tells Doreen about being a financial professional in a highly-competitive industry and how he stays viable. Tim consolidated and moved his business recently and that meant he went back into start-up mode. He and his team decided to get back to the basics of education with their business clients and right-size their offices. As Tim states, “Being nimble is very important these days.” Have you ever heard of the Rule of 72? It is a basic banking principal that Tim explains he learned from his brother at the age of 22. It changed how he looked at money. When Tim was asked what it takes to survive in this business, he says it starts with change in yourself and your mindset - “ownership vs. loanership”. Also, it is imperative to have gumption to succeed and coaches to help you move forward. Tim can be contacted at www.wealthwave.com/TimMullaney. In this episode of LeadershipNOW® podcast we feature WealthWave® leader Kim Scouller interviewing Brittney Gardner and her son Sebastian Gardner, live from Dallas, TX during a fundraising event. Although Sebastian was born full term, gastrointestinal issues were detected by 25 weeks in the womb. After a tumultuous eight weeks in the NICU, he was formally diagnosed with Hirschsprung’s disease, also known as long segmented intestinal and colonic aganglionosis. WealthWave® leader Tim Mullaney and his team started this drive to help Sebastian raise funds, while spreading the importance of financial literary, especially during times of family emergencies. Sebastian Gardner is a 6 year old boy who was born without functioning intestines, among other complications. He needs a liver, pancreas and an intestinal transplant. Anticipating a year away from home, his family partnered with Children's Organ Transplant Association for assistance with feeding therapy, transportation, housing, immunosuppressants and more. COTA's partnership with families allow 100% of the donations given in a patient's honor to help with these needs. Life Takes Guts. UPDATE: On March 22nd, Sebastian received his multiple organ transplant. While the surgery was a success, he was very sick and experienced complications. There are miracles and there are scientific facts, and then there is this big huge area in between that sometimes can’t be explained. Sebastian’s 7 years on this earth with his family were a daily miracle. Surrounded by family, friends and medical staff, he took his final breath on March 31, 2019. Sebastian’s gift is that those of us lucky enough to have been in his presence were blessed by personal growth, kindness, patience, and love.
As part of Delaware Debates 2018, Delaware Public Media presents Candidate Conversations in collaboration with the University of Delaware's Center for Political Communication. Delaware Public Media is interviewing all candidates who have filed to run in the races for U.S. House and U.S. Senate, as well as the races for State Attorney General, State Auditor and State Treasurer. Candidates in each race will answer the same set of questions to allow Delaware voters to get to know them and compare them. In the race for Delaware Attorney General, incumbent Democrat Matt Denn chose not to run for another term. That prompted four Democrats to throw their hats in the ring to replace him. Kathy Jennings, Chris Johnson, Tim Mullaney, and LaKresha Roberts will face off in a Democratic primary next month. There is currently no Republican on the ballot after Peggy Marshall Thomas dropped out of the race in mid-August, but state GOP officials say they are looking for someone to step in and run. They have until Sept. 4 to name a new candidate. This is LaKresha Roberts' first run for elected office. She was a Deputy Attorney General under then Attorney General Beau Biden, and has served under current AG Matt Denn as both head of the Family Division and then Chief Deputy Attorney General.
