Denk jetzt nicht an einen rosa Elefanten. Na? Woran denkst du gerade? Genau.

In Episode 586, Fr. Marc Boulos asks what it truly means to welcome someone in Scripture. In Luke's account of the feeding of the five thousand, the answer is far richer than simple hospitality. Examining the Greek verb ἀποδέχομαι (apodechomai) alongside the Hebrew root צ-ר-ר (ṣ-r-r) and the Arabic ص-ر-ر (ṣ-r-r), Fr. Marc demonstrates that biblical welcome is not merely greeting a stranger—it is binding someone into the community of God.Beginning with Luke 9:14–17, he traces the literary and lexical threads that unite the crowd's welcome of Jesus (Luke 8:40) with Jesus' welcome of the crowd (Luke 9:11), culminating in the wilderness banquet. Along the way, he explores Luke's distinctive vocabulary of reclining (κατακλίνω), the companies (κλισίαι) of fifty, Israel's wilderness camp, the Greek symposium, the Gibeonite covenant meal, Abigail's "bundle of the living" (1 Samuel 25:29), Abraham's guests in Sūrat al-Dhāriyāt (Qur'an 51), Noah's self-bound hearers, the manna traditions of Exodus, Psalms, and the Qur'an, and the recurring biblical contrast between those whom God binds to himself and those who bind themselves to the old.Rather than treating Greek, Hebrew, and Arabic as isolated languages, this study follows their shared literary and lexical patterns to illuminate the grammar of the biblical text, revealing how the wilderness table gathers Jew and Greek into one people under one God. ★ Support this podcast on Patreon ★

Today we are talking about Content, syndication, and Synchronization between Drupal Sites with guest Thiemo Müller. We'll also cover Drupal core 11.4 as our module of the week. Drupal core 11.4 delivers all that and more Module name/project name: Drupal core 11.4 Brief history How old: created on July 1 2026 by catch of Tag1 Changes Performance improvements When Drupal 11.3 was released, we talked about what a massive performance jump it represented, the biggest improvement in a decade. 11.4 has done it again! Database queries are reduced by half, across a range of requests due to optimizations in how entity fields are loaded. Overall, that represents a nearly ⅔ improvement for database and cache lookups on a cold cache compared to Drupal 11.0 or 10.6 Entity listing queries have also been refactored to use fewer table joins, reducing slow queries. Additionally, the link field introduces a resolvable_uri property and token, which returns a ready-to-use front-end link (like /#main-content) right out of the API instead of raw internal URIs, which will be a huge benefit for anyone using Drupal for decoupled and JSON:API-based use cases Applying recipes in Drupal 11.4 is significantly faster, reportedly twice as fast, and that includes installing Drupal CMS Drupal now supports Brotli compression, which should yield 15-25% better compression of CSS and JS assets Security Drupal 11.4 offers a new password hashing algorithm, argon2id, that will become the default in Drupal 12 later this year Also, the drupal/core-recommended package no longer strictly locks minor versions for critical dependencies like Guzzle, Twig, or Symfony Polyfills, making it easier to immediately receive important security updates Drupal's default robots.txt now blocks well-behaved search crawlers from indexing search queries, helping to solve a potential source of traffic overload on sites using faceted search Developer experience There's been a significant shift towards the adoption of PHP Attributes in recent Drupal releases, and 11.4 is no exception You can now define application routes directly within your PHP controller and form classes using the Symfony #[Route] attribute. This drastically reduces the need to jump back and forth into *.routing.yml files The new #[Bundle] attribute allows developers to define bundle classes directly, eliminating the need to write old-school entity_type_info or entity_type_info_alter hook implementations. All core .theme and .theme-settings.php files have been moved entirely to PHP classes. Support for legacy .theme files will be dropped in Drupal 13. Furthermore, dozens of core .module files have been fully converted into clean PHP classes Front controllers now leverage the symfony/runtime component to isolate bootstrapping logic from request handling, preparing the Drupal core architecture for advanced environments like FrankenPHP, known for its blazing-fast performance, among other features Drupal 11.4 introduces a native, extensible command-line tool (./vendor/bin/dr) built in partnership with Drush maintainers. This kicks off a transitional period where Drush commands will gradually be migrated to the core native binary Also, the new HttpKernelUiHelperTrait for kernel tests lets developers make mock HTTP requests and assertions without running the full Drupal site installer. This allows many traditional browser tests to be rewritten as much faster kernel tests Editor experience Drupal 11.4 includes the new Default Admin theme, a version of the popular Gin admin theme, now in core The Navigation module is now enabled by default, replacing the legacy toolbar CKEditor once again has a fullscreen button available without a contrib add-on, allowing editors to fully immerse themselves in a WYSIWYG element's content, great for working on long-format pieces Deprecations The initial 11.4.0 release actually removed a number of core recipes. They were since restored in an 11.4.1 release, but they are deprecated and will be removed from Drupal 12 Also on their way out are a number of modules, including Ban, Contact, Field Layout, History, Migrate Drupal and its UI, Search, Settings Tray, Shortcut, Telephone, Toolbar, and a flag module called layout_builder_expose_all_field_blocks. For themes, Claro, Stable 9, and Olivero are all deprecated, and will be moved from core. We'll include the meta issue about these deprecation in the show notes, and if any of these are important to you, it's worth tracking where they are on the path of moving to contrib

The Mineral Rights Podcast: Mineral Rights | Royalties | Oil and Gas | Matt Sands
Most mineral owners know they "own mineral rights" — but what does that actually mean? Did you know that property ownership isn't a single thing; it's a collection of separate, stackable, and separable rights that attorneys and landmen refer to as the "bundle of sticks." In this episode, we break down everything you need to know about the different types of property rights — from the broad concept of who owns what on the surface to a detailed look at the five distinct rights that make up the mineral estate itself. If you've ever wondered why you're receiving a royalty check but didn't sign a lease, why you can sell your interest while your cousin holds onto theirs, or what exactly an NPRI owner does and doesn't get to do — this episode covers it all. Whether you've just inherited minerals or have been a mineral owner for years, understanding which "sticks" are in your bundle is foundational to making smart decisions about your property. As always the links to the resources mentioned in this episode can be found in the show notes at mineralrightspodcast.com.

This lecture discusses key ideas from the 18th century philosopher, essayist, and historian, David Hume's work A Treatise of Human Nature Specifically it examines his argument that there is no such thing as a human self in a metaphysical sense of a substance or soul that remains the same throughout changes. Instead, what we have or are is a bundle or collection of perceptions in the mind. While we can form an idea of the self, this is essentially a fiction. How a LinkedIn Post Landed Jessica Berger a $1M Check Posting consistently can feel like shouting into the void. Until one day, the right person is listening. For Jessica Berger, founder and CEO of Bundle x Joy, that person turned out to be an investor. After years of documenting her journey on LinkedIn, one post reignited a conversation that eventually led to a seven-figure investment and helped make her the first Latina founder to raise more than $1 million in the pet industry. But the investment wasn't the result of one viral post. It was the result of years spent building visibility, relationships, and trust with people who had been quietly following along. In this episode, Jessica shares how she used LinkedIn to create opportunities she otherwise wouldn't have had access to. Without a built-in investor network or industry connections, she treated the platform as a place to build relationships, stay top of mind, and create familiarity over time. Along the way, that visibility opened doors to mentors, investors, and retailers like PetSmart. We also unpack why LinkedIn works differently than other social platforms, how Jessica balances authenticity with sharing wins, and why she believes your personal brand is one of the few assets algorithms can't take away. From practical habits that make LinkedIn more effective to the mindset shifts that helped her stop playing small, this conversation is a reminder that opportunities are rarely built overnight. More often, they're the result of showing up consistently long before you know who's watching. If you've ever told yourself "I'm too small to worry about trademarks," this episode is the wake-up call. Kelly sits down with trademark and IP attorney Berkeley Sweetapple — the rare lawyer who makes legal genuinely fun — to break down why protecting your brand isn't a someday problem, it's a business growth investment you make early. Kelly opens up about the most expensive lesson of her career. when she figured she was too small and insignificant to bother with a trademark, and ended up needing a full rebrand across thousands of files, podcasts, and videos, millions of dollars lost, and years of focus pulled off growth. Berkeley shares how she went from "most likely to quit law and become a housewife" to building a law firm serving online entrepreneurs, and gets into where IP is heading in the age of AI. Celebrities like Taylor Swift and Matthew McConaughey are already trademarking phrases, faces, and likenesses to control how their persona shows up online, and Berkeley explains why the law is always playing catch-up while AI moves at full speed. Berkley shares why everything in your business probably needs a legal refresh after the changes of the last couple years, and where to start if you're mid-panic. The common denominator: if you stay in business long enough, these things will happen to you. The move is to get the right people in place early, stay in your CEO energy, delegate the legal, and build the systems so you can keep moving the company forward. Richard, Murray Barnett and Yannick Ramcke convene for a World Cup special, using the 2026 tournament as a lens on how sports broadcasting is shifting beneath the surface. The conversation moves from Qatar-to-2026 comparisons (more accelerated change, more fragmentation, but a still-basic mainstream default) through the "AI slop mountain" that the expanded tournament and unfriendly European kickoff times will generate, into the rise of creator- and personality-led shoulder programming — anchored by Goalhanger's Netflix deal for The Rest Is Football. The panel pushes back on the easy consensus. Yannick's central argument: free-to-air, creator-led distribution cannot sustain the economics FIFA needs, and the real risk isn't broadcasters losing matches — it's the complement becoming a substitute. The trio then dissect FIFA's failed India and China deals, separating intrinsic value from negotiating theatre (the "aspirational vs delusional" exchange), and the structural mismatch between billions of eyeballs and uncertain monetization in "numbers markets" rather than "willingness-to-pay markets."They close on FIFA's designation of YouTube as a "Preferred Platform" — which Yannick reads not as value creation for broadcasters but as a short-term revenue-maximizing tax on platforms that hadn't paid before, a net new nine-figure sum with little practical change to the ecosystem. Throughout, the recurring tension is reach versus revenue, and whether risk-averse broadcasters will actually use the first-10-minutes rights they've been handed. This episode is sponsored by The Institute of Sports Humanities (ISH) ISH educates sport's current and future leaders around the world, as the leading independent provider of sports leadership education and insight.Their Strategic Sport Leadership Masters (MA) is for sports industry executives to study alongside their careers – designed for professionals who want to build on their experience, strengthen strategic thinking, and connect with a global network of peers working across sport.Applications for the next intake on the 2026 Strategic Sport Leadership MA, starting September, are open.Visit sportshumanities.org for more informationUnofficial Partner is the leading podcast for the business of sport. Building a Moat Into a Startup Hello, this is Hall T. Martin with the Startup Funding Espresso -- your daily shot of startup funding and investing. Startups in the early days have little to protect the business beyond intellectual property. As the company grows, the startup can build a stronger moat. Here are some key steps for building a moat into a startup: Network effects -- grow the network within your customer base to strengthen the business. Design the product and the marketing to connect others to the customer base. Platforms -- design a platform into the solution offered. A platform brings reduced cost and greater capabilities versus one-off products. Integrate with partners -- use APIs and other technical connections to create a seamless solution for customers. Integrations add value and are difficult to compete against. Bundle products -- package several services into a single product. Through bundling, one creates a better solution that appeals to a broader audience. Long-term sales contracts -- signing long-term contracts provides a moat. Customers who want to switch will find it costly, and competitors will get tired of waiting for the customer to come back to the table. Proprietary data -- data that is unique to the business adds value. Unique data can be mined for additional products and services. Brand -- build a brand that provides a unique promise to the customer. Brands take time to build but can provide an additional moat for the company. Consider these steps in building a moat into your startup. Thank you for joining us for the Startup Funding Espresso where we help startups and investors connect for funding. Let's go startup something today. _______________________________________________________ For more episodes from Investor Connect, please visit the site at: http://investorconnect.org Check out our other podcasts here: https://investorconnect.org/ For Investors check out: https://tencapital.group/investor-landing/ For Startups check out: https://tencapital.group/company-landing/ For eGuides check out: https://tencapital.group/education/ For upcoming Events, check out https://tencapital.group/events/ For Feedback please contact info@tencapital.group Please follow, share, and leave a review. If you've listened to the podcast over the past several months, you've probably heard Rob mention "the book" a few times. Well, it's finally done. In this solo episode, Rob reveals the title, shares the story behind it, and talks about the question that sent him down the AI rabbit hole in the first place: what does this technology actually mean for normal businesses? Not Silicon Valley. Not billion dollar tech companies. The rest of us. What he found was both simpler and more surprising than expected. The farther he got from the headlines and hot takes, the clearer it became that AI isn't some magical new category of technology. It's a lot closer to the data, software, and business problems companies have been wrestling with for years. Which raises an interesting question: if AI is more approachable than most people think, why are so many organizations still standing on the sidelines waiting for someone else to go first? As it turns out, that question became a book. And this episode is the story of how it got there. Also in this episode: Pre-order Fair Game: Customizing AI to Your Business Is Easier Than You Think Fortune: Big Tech is laying off developers. My company just hired its first. We're both right about AI (By Rob Collie)
You are not overreacting. Your nervous system is not broken. It is doing exactly what it learned to do in environments where threat was the norm. In this episode, Jennifer Wallace and Elisabeth Kristof close out Season Five with one of the most important and least understood concepts in complex trauma: emotional flashbacks. Not the cinematic kind, not a sudden memory of a specific event, but the quiet, whole-system state shift that can color an entire day, week, or month in dread, loneliness, shame, and the bone-deep certainty that nothing will ever be okay. The episode opens with a reframe that changes everything: an emotional flashback is not a regression to the past. It is a real-time nervous system state that reorganizes how the brain filters reality. Perception shifts. Interpretation shifts. What feels possible shifts. And because it happens at the level of the whole predictive network, not just a single memory, it does not feel like the past. It feels like now. It feels like truth. Elisabeth and Jennifer trace exactly how this works through the lens of neuro somatic intelligence, constructed emotion theory, and the science of predictive processing. They explain what neuro tags are and how they get activated, why the amygdala hijack model is outdated and what a more accurate understanding of emotional flashbacks actually looks like, and why calling these states irrational or disordered misses the point entirely. The nervous system is not malfunctioning. It is preparing for threat based on what it has reliably learned to expect. Both hosts share vivid and honest personal examples. Elisabeth describes a recent subtle flashback triggered by being sick, underresourced, and feeling unsupported by her partner, and how quickly the narrative spread to her business, her relationships, and her sense of being completely alone. Jennifer shares the story of a red hummingbird feeder in her backyard that unlocked an entire somatic memory of loneliness and isolation she had not yet consciously connected to childhood. The episode also addresses something practitioners often ask about: how to tell the difference between emotional dysregulation that needs regulating, and an emotion that needs to be felt and moved through. The answer is not a clean line but a question of capacity, flexibility, and what the nervous system can hold in that moment. This is the final episode of Season Five and a natural bridge into Season Six, where Jennifer and Elisabeth will be expanding the lens from individual healing to collective nervous system dynamics, cultural structures, and what becomes possible when this work moves beyond the personal. Social anxiety is often framed as shyness, insecurity, or fear of judgment. But for many people living with complex trauma, social anxiety is a nervous system output shaped by chronic relational stress, sensory overwhelm, hypervigilance, masking, shame, and learned survival patterns. In this episode of Trauma Rewired, Jennifer Wallace and Elisabeth Kristof explore how complex trauma changes social engagement, why connection can feel exhausting, the role of the inner critic and toxic shame, sensory processing, nervous system overload, people pleasing, social fatigue, masking, emotional suppression, and post-traumatic growth. We discuss why awareness alone does not create change, how nervous system rehabilitation supports healing, and what becomes possible when safety, capacity, and authentic expression begin to grow. Everyone has a critical inner voice. But if you grew up in an environment shaped by chronic relational stress, that voice does not just comment. It runs. It loops. It drives your body into a stress state before you have even finished the thought. In this episode, Jennifer Wallace and Elisabeth Kristof explore the inner critic as the next distinguishing characteristic of complex trauma in their ongoing CPT series. This is not a conversation about toxic positivity or affirmations. It is a precise, neuroscience-grounded look at why the inner critic develops, what it is actually doing in the brain and nervous system, and what it genuinely takes to loosen its grip over time. The inner critic is a predictive safety mechanism. It developed to preempt rejection, suppress behaviors that previously led to punishment, and maintain attachment in environments where connection felt conditional. It is not your core self. It is a learned neural pattern rooted in threat detection and self-referential processing that, once formed, keeps running because it worked. Or at least, it worked enough. Jennifer and Elisabeth trace how chronic relational stress reorganizes the default mode network around threat rather than flexible identity development, what the medial prefrontal cortex and posterior cingulate cortex have to do with rumination and shame-based identity loops, and why children with developmental trauma learn to blame themselves for relational failures that were never their fault in the first place. They also go deep on the outward expression of the same pattern: the external critic, the person who micromanages, projects, and stays braced and guarded because the nervous system is still predicting the letdown. Both hosts bring this into their own lived experience with real honesty. Elisabeth talks about the constant body-focused narrator that used to run during recording sessions. Jennifer shares what the inner critic sounds like when she is launching something new and putting her voice out into the world. Neither of them is pretending it is gone. They are showing what it looks like when it no longer runs the show. The episode closes with practical, nervous system-grounded pathways for working with the inner critic, including why celebration and reward matter more than positive thinking, how oxytocin-mediated safety gradually quiets social threat monitoring, and why the most important move is not arguing with the voice but interrupting the loop at the body level first. In This Episode, You Will Learn: Why the inner critic is a predictive nervous system adaptation, not a reflection of truth or identity How chronic relational stress reorganizes the default mode network around threat and self-monitoring What the medial prefrontal cortex and posterior cingulate cortex have to do with rumination and the inner critic Why children with developmental trauma internalize relational failures as personal flaws How perfectionism, body criticism, and post-performance crashes are all outputs of the same underlying pattern What the external critic is, why it always coexists with a loud inner critic, and how to recognize it in yourself Why you cannot think your way out of the inner critic loop and what actually interrupts it How the ventral striatum and reward signaling can be used to reinforce new behaviors and self-expression Why oxytocin-mediated safety, through connection, touch, nature, and sensory pleasure, reduces the social threat driving the critic What post-traumatic growth actually looks like in relation to the inner critic: not eliminating it, but expanding capacity beyond it Chapter Markers 0:00 - The Inner Critic as a Distinguishing Characteristic of Complex Trauma 0:58 - Welcome: What the Inner Critic Actually Is 1:49 - Jennifer and Elisabeth Share Their Own Inner Critic Experiences 4:36 - Why This Matters: Recognizing Complex Trauma in the Patterns 5:33 - The Difference Between a Normal Inner Critic and a Trauma-Amplified One 7:11 - The Neuro Biology: How the Inner Critic Develops as a Protective Pattern 8:28 - How Authenticity Becomes a Threat Signal 10:38 - The Default Mode Network and Self-Referential Rumination 13:52 - What the Growth Edge Actually Feels Like in Practice 17:05 - The Brain Science: The Default Mode Network, Medial PFC, and Posterior Cingulate 19:22 - Why Developmental Trauma Teaches Children to Blame Themselves 21:10 - How to Interrupt the Loop: Sensory Anchoring, Movement, and Tools 23:18 - Working With State to Shift the Story 24:51 - Perfectionism as an Output of the Inner Critic 28:11 - Why We Stay Stuck in the Loop Even When We Know Better 29:12 - The Ventral Striatum, Reward Signaling, and Why Celebrating Small Wins Matters 35:57 - Oxytocin, Social Safety, and Softening the Hypervigilance 39:49 - The External Critic: When the Inner Voice Gets Projected Outward 43:03 - Post-Traumatic Growth and the Inner Critic: What Actually Changes Ways to Engage with Neurosomatics Join us inside Rewire: This is where you actually experience the practices Jennifer and Elisabeth talk about on the podcast that brought us freedom, self-attunement, a new relationship with food and our body. rewiretrial.com Explore the neurosomatics of boundaries: boundaryrewire.com Introduction to neurosomatics for practitioners, coaches and therapists - The NSI foundations Bundle: https://neurosomaticintelligence.com/workshops/ Wayfinder Journal: Track nervous system patterns and support preparation and integration through Neurosomatic Intelligence: https://stan.store/illuminated Join Jennifer on Sacred Synapse to explore the intersection of neurosomatics and Psychedelic neuroscience: https://www.youtube.com/@sacredsynapse-23 Support the podcast by supporting our sponsors: FREE 1 Year Supply of Vitamin D + 5 Travel Packs from Athletic Greens when you use my exclusive offer: https://www.drinkag1.com/rewired Trauma Rewired podcast is intended to educate and inform but does not constitute medical, psychological or other professional advice or services.
