Kelly Siebold is a Post Partum Depression and Anxiety survivor as well as the Founder and CEO of Thrive Postpartum and host of the Let's Thrive Postpartum podcast, and a visionary leader dedicated to transforming maternal mental health through innovative technology. Kelly's path to the founding of Thrive Postpartum began after the birth of her first child when she became a statistic as one of the 1 in 5 new mothers affected by postpartum depression and anxiety. Kelly describes how just six weeks postpartum she began experiencing overwhelming feelings of loneliness, depression, anxiety, rage, and intrusive thoughts. She explains that she knew something was wrong, but it wasn't until the day she found herself screaming at her baby, then three months old, that something was terribly wrong. As Kelly sought help, she realized that there was a significant lack of accessibility for 24/7 support for mothers experiencing similar struggles. Determined to make a difference, she leveraged her decades of expertise in the tech industry to build Thrive Postpartum, a platform designed to provide immediate, comprehensive support for maternal mental wellness. Through Thrive Postpartum, Kelly aims to ensure that no mother feels alone in her journey. The platform offers educational resources, therapist-led group support programs, and a community of moms, all available around the clock. Kelly's mission is to help new mothers find themselves again and thrive in their roles. Kelly's story and dedication resonate deeply with many, as she openly shares her experiences to break the stigma around postpartum mental health. Her leadership and advocacy are shaping a new era of maternal support, where every mother has the tools and community she needs to thrive. I am changing things up this week. I had an episode ready to go, but was on a long run yesterday, a 15-miler getting ready for next Ironman and as I like to do, I listen to podcasts or audiobooks. I popped on Steve Siebold's book How Rich People Think and I have to say, I forget how great this little gem of a book is. This book is a treasure trove of insights into the mindset of the wealthy. There over 25 of them and I was running, I thought, I've got to share some of this with the Misfit Audience! So, I've gone through it and picked out the top 10 lessons I believe are crucial for anyone looking to elevate their financial success and build wealth. But as I mentioned—these 10 lessons are just scratching the surface. Siebold packs this book with so much more. I highly recommend reading it in full because there's no substitute for learning straight from the source. So, what's this book all about? It's about the difference in thinking between the rich and the average person. It's about breaking down limiting beliefs, taking control of your financial destiny, and reprogramming your mind to think like the wealthy. In Episode 136 Ben talks with Dr. Sonia Levy, A Black, Jewish behaviour analyst and lead author on a seminal article in behaviour analysis entitled: A Look In The Mirror: How the Field of Behavior Analysis Can Become Antiracist. This article was written not long after the brutal murder of George Floyd by police in 2020 and the beginning of a new social justice movement that captured the minds and hearts of people all over the world. Many behavior analysts, behavior analytic companies, overarching associations, and certification boards put out statements condemning racism and formed committees and task forces committed to combating racism in the field of behaviour analysis. It's been almost four years since the murder of George Floyd and this conversation serves as a check-in to see how far this field has come.

The Mike Calta Show Featured Cut

☑️ Was steckt hinter dem MBSR-Ansatz?
