GOD! this mix is even better then the first. One mix wasn't enough to contain this EDM demi god. "Take me back to the long lost summer love" (track #3).  In a "house (song) of crying tigers." (Track #10). These are my fave Loverush UK! songs that migrated to the top of my hugemongous list of EDM songs on my iTunes. As always, wonderfully mixed into one hour of genuflecting wonder. "Treat me like your savior..." (Track #7). Make sure to get Part One. If you luv progressive house vocal pop beats, with easily digestible hooks, then these two tribute Loverush UK "God" mixes are for you. *** = DJ Favorite! Track List (53:35): Wilderness (Loverush UK! Club Mix) - Tiff Lacey - "I was lost in the wilderness... suddenly I just knew." Give Me Your Love 2012 (Loverush UK! 2012 Remix) - Loverush UK and Carla Werner - "It's like walking in a dream... I want you." Long Lost Summer Love (Loverush UK! Mix) - Damien S. Ft Lee Thomas - "Take me back to the long lost summer love." I swear Cher is secretly singing this song! Toca's Miracle 2008 (Loverush UK!) - Fragma - ***Classic!*** The original remade a few years back. Gotta love this. Never Tears Apart (Loverush Uk! Remix) - Ben Preston ft. Susie Ledge ***DJ Favorite!*** Different World 2010 (Loverush UK! Mix) - Shelley Harland Heavy Voices - Madonna vs Aura & Loverush UK! ***DJ Favorite!*** "Who is the master and who is the slave?" ***WOWSA!*** Flaming June (Loverush UK! Remix) - BT - It's time for a tribute "God" mix to Brian Transeau (BT). I love you! Every Emotion (Loverush UK! Remix) - AurA feat. Danielle Senior See The New Hong Kong (Loverush UK! Club Mix) - Josie Cotton - "There's a movie in my head..." I can't explain this song but it is something strangely wonderful. If I "only knew the words... in a house (song) of crying tigers."

NY7 4/30 ... Title is a little brain teaser ... Work it out. I was working on what could be on the menu for New Year's and whipped this one off in no time. Semi-live, straight out of Traktor with no re-editing or re-mastering whatsoever.. So compared with the 50+ versions I normally do, this is a tad raw and unpolished. Funky tunes, upbeat, catchy French and Balearic Trance & House.. Being doubtful this trial for a New Year set will fit the crowd on the day, though I will use some of it, I am uploading it for the younger crowd (hint, hint for the title). It's a fun, sometimes trancy, sometimes housy, sometimes trousy set with a few new tunes and a lot of Xtian's edits and retake on old favourites of ours. Playlist ( I will put all details later, this is just by memory) Intro System Check Far l'Amore Medley (Roul & Doors & Franky Rizardo Alternative Remix) [Xtian Edit]. Bob Sinclar feat. Rafaella Cara Rain (The Piano Tribal Progressive Anthem Mix). Everytime You Need Me 2011 (Skjg Project Remix) {Xtian Extended Remix]. Fragma Toca's Miracle (Tom Novy & Jashari Deepdown Mix). Fragma How Would You Feel (Peter Rauhofer ReConstruction Mix) Pressure (Calvin West Extended Remix) [Xtian Edit] - Alex Kenji & Starkillers feat. Nadia Ali SOS (Tujamo Remix). Polina Griffith & Ralph Good Lady (DJ Falk Remix). Richard Grey Strings of Life Medley (Original vs Supernova vs Martijn Van Helden Remix) [Xtian NYC Edit]. Jerome Syndenham, Supernova, Martinn Van Helden Freed from Desire. Steve Forest Highlights: well...my kids like "Far l'Amore" typical French house from Bob Sinclar and I love the piano crescendos of "Rain" (that I will use on NY). Always fun to use new takes on "Everytime You Need Me " and Toca's Miracle from Fragma. SOS is maybe the tune I prefer as I had forgotten it at the bottom of the crate. "Lady" a 2011 remix of the old french house anthem. I went completely overlength with the "Strings of Life" edit but once it is cut down to an acceptable length, it will work its magic.. "Freed From Desire", well another party anthem.. As you can see, we are not breaking any grounds here. Finishing the "uber-structure" of the New Year set tonight, with a little bit of this one  sprinkled throughout but targeted to a more discerning (read mature) crowd!! See you in the New Year. Happy 2012!

Like I needed another excuse for another mix? Yes, it's my birthday... today. And yes, I made a mix for it. And yes, I'm even on vacation and posting this. Haha. So, I thought a birthday mix would be fun, but instead of just choosing a bunch of favorite dance songs from my collection, I needed to limit that down. So here is the rule... it had to be a mix that I added to my library in the last year of my life, but wasn't necessarily new when I did (save one, which I'll get to in a minute). Now, before some of you say, "I can't believe that you didn't have THAT song" or whatever, realize that most of these I already had some mix of, but for whatever reason these stayed under my radar. Be it because at the time, I had another mix I really favored, maybe heard before but my taste has changed a little, or -- heaven forbid -- totally didn't know existed. Ha. So get ready for some MAJOR random, but I think you may find some gems on here as I did (or maybe one of them will give you memories from a happy time or person in your life, as many do for me). This mix doesn't follow my normal flow, in that it starts off bright and happy, goes a little dark in the middle, then comes back around again. Being that it's so random, it was tough to get the layout right, but I think it works best this way for this particular mix. A few notes on some songs... first of all... The Boss. I'm sorry Diana and Kristine, but I really heart this version of that song. Toni sounds fantastic and this mix works just right. Copacabana... yes I'm a Fanilow, but imagine my happiness when I ran across a Ralphi remix. Love it. Go Your Own Way... Fleetwood Mac... enough said, other than it's one of my favorite songs of theirs (well, and give Dave credit here... he kept it true to the original). As far as the Thunderpuss mixes... well, yeah, there really isn't excuse other than I've been trying to fill in some holes and how could I not have had these. I know, I know. Which brings me to Mariah Carey vs Fragma - Toca's Together (Rauhofer's Inpetto Mashup Chris "Needs a Miracle" Edit). Okay, so I first heard the Peter mash-up this year at Disney. It was about 6:30am at the last afterhours and Peter was spinning (and just workin' it... he was great). I had made my way to the middle of the dancefloor by that point (by myself, I should add) and was already in my own world dancing to his music, loving every minute. Then, I heard the hint of (what I thought to be) Toca's Miracle, which is one of my favorite dance songs. Then, however as the song played, it wasn't Coco at all, but Mariah. I absolutely fell in love with the mash-up he did -- considering I usually hate mash-ups -- but I kept thinking (as I danced) I felt like something was missing. That something, to me, was "a miracle". So I did a little mash-up of my own... a mash-up of his mash-up, so to speak, which I give you here as Chris's "Need A Miracle" Edit. Here is a video from that actual moment, of course aweful sound quality. Finally, and speaking of Disney, I finish with Olivia Newton-John - Xanadu (Chris's Sparkly OMP DMC Edit). I first heard this remix at Disney in 2007. It was the song that Roland used for the Fireworks at One Mighty Party and Xanadu has to be one of my "queen-out-moment" favorites. Now, this one violates my rule for the mix above (I didn't find it in the last year), but bless it's heart... I really worked hard two years ago on this edit after that experience to take the DMC remix of that song and make it make how "sparkly" the Disney experience was for me that year. A little chopping, speeding up, and some injection of extra sound effects and I think I got it. It was just dying for an excuse to be used on a mix and, since its MY birthday, I guess I can violate my own rules... haha. :-) Here is another video moment, again sound quality is terrible, but you get the idea. I have included the year released... the year after the slash indicates when I did my edit. Song listing: (2004) Barry Manilow - Copacabana (Ralphi Rosario Club Vocal Mix)(1997) The Braxtons - The Boss (Masters At Work Mix)(1996) Madonna - Love Don't Live Here Anymore (Mark Picchiotti House Vocal Mix)(2000) Mariah Carey - Against All Odds (Pound Boys Main Mix)(2006) Beyoncé - Dèjá Vu (Freemasons Club Mix)(2007) Beyoncé - Green Light (Freemasons Club Vox Mix)(2008) Fleetwood Mac - Go Your Own Way (The Dave Audé Ultrasound Long Remix)(2002) Angie Stone - I Wish I Didn't Miss You (Hex Hector & Mac Quayle Vibe Mix)(2006) Jewel - Only One Too (Stonebridge Club Mix)(2004) Stonebridge feat. Therese - Put 'Em High (The Sharp Boys Funky Fiesta Remix)(2005) Ciara - Goodies (Bimbo Jones Remix)(2006) R.E.M. - Losing My Religion (Quentin Harris Remix)(2007) Meck feat. Dino - Feels Like Home (Dave Audé Club Mix)(2008/2009) Mariah Carey vs Fragma - Toca's Together (Rauhofer's Inpetto Mashup Chris "Needs a Miracle" Edit)(2007) Imogen Heap - Hide And Seek (Tiësto's In Search Of Sunrise Remix)(2002) Whitney Houston - Whatchulookinat (Thunderpuss Club Anthem Mix)(2003) LeAnn Rimes - Tic Toc (Thunderpuss Club Mix)(2003) Play - I Must Not Chase The Boys (Thunderpuss Club Mix)(1998) Gloria Estefan - Don't Let This Moment End (Hex Hector 12" Vocal Mix)(1999/2007) Olivia Newton-John - Xanadu (Chris's Sparkly OMP DMC Edit) Happy Listening and Happy Birthday To Me :-)
