What if the love you need most right now is love for yourself? Rev. Cathey Edwards names the habit she calls "spiritual amnesia" — forgetting our own worth — and offers a simple two-word practice to interrupt it.Guest minister Rev. Cathey Edwards, part of the All Souls community since the 1980s, explores what it means to turn Love Beyond Belief inward. In this message, delivered in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Rev. Edwards makes the case that self-compassion isn't a self-help detour from justice work, it's the foundation of it.KEY THEMES:- Self-compassion as a spiritual practice- The "just like me" practice for dissolving judgment- Naming "spiritual amnesia" as forgetting our own worth- Sharon Salzberg's "but I love you" technique- Truth-telling as an ethical, not just emotional, stance- Holding our own contradictions and multitudesSUBSCRIBE TO WATCH OTHER VIDEOS: @allsoulsunitarianWANT TO LISTEN? The great lie of the Epstein scandal isn't just what he did, but how the powerful around him suddenly claimed they couldn't remember him at all. Presidents, princes, billionaires, academics, bankers, and celebrities who once courted his money and shared his jets all reached for the same script when the walls closed in: I barely knew him. It was a coordinated act of survival, not an accident. Institutions like Harvard, MIT, Deutsche Bank, and JP Morgan played the same game, pretending they never saw the red flags. Legacy media, instead of hammering the contradictions, often published these denials straight, allowing amnesia to masquerade as truth. Forgetting became strategy, and strategy became cover. But memory leaves evidence. Flight logs, photographs, donations, and testimonies remain, and every denial only underscores the complicity of those who looked away. The survivors don't get to forget; they live with scars while the powerful rewrite history. What the amnesia act reveals is cowardice: a willingness to erase reality to protect reputation. Epstein built his empire on memory, yet his circle tried to survive through erasure. In the end, their denials brand them more deeply than their associations ever could—because the attempt to forget is itself proof they remembered perfectly well.to contact me:bobbycapucci@protonmail.comBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-moscow-murders-and-more--5852883/support.

Former Jets safety Jamal Adams took to social media to let the world know that he has in fact reached out to the Jets about possibly returning to play for the Green and White.  Is Adams hoping nobody in the organization or fan base can recall his last stint that ended with Adams shooting his way out of town? https://api.spreaker.com/v2/episodes/73034329/download.mp3 And with training camp right around the corner, here are our top fifteen current Jets according to, well…us. 1: WR Garrett Wilson: The unquestioned top receiver on the roster, Wilson could be primed for a big season.  Say what you want about quarterback Geno Smith, but the guy likes to let it rip and throw the ball deep down the field.  With Wilson’s elite speed and additional help on offense to draw some coverage away, we may actually see a career year from Wilson. 2: LB DeMario Davis: Age is the only reason we didn’t have Davis at the top of the list.  Easily the most accomplished player on the roster and a top 100 NFL player, Davis can’t keep playing at this level at 37-years-old, can he?  We’ll give him the benefit of the doubt at this point which should place him at or near the top of this list. 3: RB Breece Hall: We’ve predicted several breakout years for Hall over the past few seasons as we keep thinking that at some point, the Jets will get an offensive coordinator who plays to Hall’s strengths.  It hasn’t happened yet, but could Frank Reich be the guy to finally help Hall top 1,500 yards from scrimmage? 4: RT Armand Membou: Membou was one of the best rookie offensive linemen in the NFL last season and expectations are high entering year two.  Membou has the potential to become a top five tackle in the league. 5: DT T’Vondre Sweat: This may not be a popular selection for those who haven’t watched all that much of Sweat, but given what we’ve seen on film from him and the importance he’ll have in this defense as the Jets look to play more 3-4, we believe that by season’s end, he’ll win over fans who have questioned his motor and ability. 6: DB Minkah Fitzpatrick: Fitzpatrick has seen a huge dip in ball production in recent years but we’re hoping that pairing up with Aaron Glenn, who has done some great work with safeties in the past, will help him become the player who had multiple seasons of five interceptions in the past along with excellent work in run support. 7: DT Jowon Briggs: Perhaps the single best “bang for buck” move Darren Mougey has made, trading a late day 3 pick for Briggs prior to the start of last season looks to be a steal.  An impact pass rusher on the interior who is also a very good run stopper, his emergence was one of the most encouraging developments of the 2025 season. 8: QB Geno Smith: The veteran quarterback returns to the Jets with a pair of 4,000 yard seasons under his belt, but also with a ton of interceptions.  If Smith can clean that up, the Jets could be a fun team to watch on offense for the fist time in a long time. 9: WR AD Mitchell: Mitchell seems to have popped onto plenty of radars in recent months, but if you go back and watch some of the work he did late last season, you’ll see why the Jets insisted he be included in the Sauce Gardner deal.  Good enough to be a number two receiver, look for a breakout season from Mitchell.  A projection some will surely disagree with, but we’ll see in time if we’re on the mark or out of our minds. 10: RG Joe Tippmann: Tippmann had a very good 2025 in his first season at guard and was rewarded with a brand new hefty contract.  Should he take the leap we expect in his second year at the position, the Jets offensive line will be even better than many anticipate. 11: LT Olu Fashanu: Fashanu did some very good things last season but wasn’t quite the force we expected him to be.  Still a player with the ability to be one of the better tackles in the league, Fashanu will look to dominate in year three in hopes of being next in line for a huge contract. 12: Edge Will McDonald: While some will point to McDonald’s dip in production as evidence of slipping from the previous season, the fact of the matter is that McDonald was much better than the box score indicates. 13: TE Mason Taylor: This is a fairly big projection once again, but we believe Taylor, along with many other Jets last season, was hampered by horrendous quarterback play.  With a year under his belt and a better group of skill players on offense, look for a significant uptick in production. 14: Edge David Bailey: We realize he may be much higher on this list by season’s end, but with no pro production to point to we’re keeping the two rookies on this list in the bottom two spots. 15: CB D’Angleo Ponds: As many have said, had Ponds been a few inches taller, he would have been a first-round lock.  But checking in at 5′ 9”,  he was there for the taking much later than that.  We believe Ponds will show himself to be worthy of a starting spot on the boundary, but may stick in the slot if the other corners on the roster are holding their own outside. Pastor Josh McPherson teaches from Nehemiah 8 about the power of God's Word to awaken individuals, reform cultures, and shape nations. When people forget God, they lose the story they are living in and become vulnerable to destructive lies. But when Scripture is publicly proclaimed, clearly explained, and faithfully obeyed, it produces conviction, worship, gratitude, reformation, and the joy of the Lord.Support the showThanks for listening! Go to www.StrongerManNation.com for more resources.

Send us Fan MailIn 2025, I reached out to my dear friend Matthew Zoltan to discuss an idea of creating an in-depth series to help people understand trauma, why traditional therapies often fail, and how they can heal themselves.Over the course of many weeks, the project evolved into an in-depth 7-part series where Matthew reveals cutting-edge information he has never released before.Matthew wants to keep the bulk of this groundbreaking information for members of his Undu app community. You can learn more about his wonderful app here: https://undoapp.mvt.so/trauma-series Use promo code MZTRAUMA if you buy the full episode bundle in the app and you will get 10% off. This video is Part 1 of 7 Summary:An exploration of trauma, memory, and dissociation through the understanding that what shapes us is not what we think about our past, but what the body is still holding. Revealing the poorly understood topic of memory, introducing an understanding required for all healers. Matthew Zoltan outlines why memory is fundamentally physical, how trauma creates amnesia through shock, and why healing requires reconnecting with the felt experience of the body rather than analysing the story of what happened.Key points covered in this episode:Introduction and episode structure: “Memory, Amnesia and Trauma”Matthew's exposure to dissociation in monastic life and the harm of “good vs bad” thinkingBreakthrough: memory as sensation, thought as body activity, and the collapse of mind/soul assumptionsTrauma defined: shock, causing cognitive shutdown, leaving only “felt memory,” and how symptoms persist without memory recall. How reconnection with felt memory heals the pain, leads to cognitive recall of the associated event, and healing the confusions of false self-perceptions and undermining beliefs. Why you can't “think your way” to the cause but need to feel it within you. Why talk therapy, maintains dissociation, suppression and reaction to it.How trauma exists in how it feels to be you, shaping mood, fear, fatigue, and effecting all daily functioning. Post-surgery trauma: the lasting harm from surgery and informed after care that is missing from the medical system.Re-traumatisation reframed and why body-based work changes the loop. How the ongoing failure to heal trauma is itself increasing hopelessness, reaction and fear.Returning to the body: dissolving the split between “me” and sensation, plus a detailed retreat case studyPractical principles: go toward the distress rather than away from it. Closing reflections: memory held in tissue and blood. Education and religion explained as a dissociation training, and what's coming nextThe importance of Embodied Meditation and why this heals trauma.Support the show

She told me about her early influences from music and the art world overall. Her love for creativity not only lies within her tracks such as “Amnesia” but also in her paintings and poetry. She touched on being able to work with her husband on music and revealed they have begun the process of putting together a collaboration album slated to drop in the near future. Hearing her passion for family, music and leading with purpose in her art were all bright spots on this one and I really appreciate her for stopping by to share!Consider donating to the show via our Ko-Fi profile here

Does The Clinical Evidence Support Mackenzie Shirilla's Dissociative Amnesia Claim?

Mackenzie Shirilla has consistently maintained she has no memory of the Strongsville crash that killed Dominic Russo and Davion Flanagan. The prosecution rejected the claim. The victims' families dispute it. A fellow inmate provided a characterization of Shirilla's behavior in custody that contradicts her on-camera presentation in Netflix's The Crash. The public discourse has largely treated the memory claim as fabrication.Shavaun Scott — licensed psychotherapist, author of The Minds of Mass Killers, with more than thirty years of experience in forensic mental health, domestic violence shelters, and crisis intervention — provides the clinical framework the trial never heard. Dissociative amnesia is a documented clinical phenomenon with established diagnostic criteria. Trauma-induced memory loss presents with characteristics consistent with what Shirilla describes. Scott examines whether genuine dissociative amnesia can be distinguished from deliberate suppression, what the medical evidence in this case suggests about the defendant's neurological state at the moment of impact, and whether the clinical presentation is consistent with fabrication or with authentic trauma response. She also addresses the grief psychology operating on the victims' families — the mechanism by which loss drives certainty beyond what the evidence supports — and the possibility that premeditated murder may not accurately characterize what occurred. The relationship dynamics that preceded the crash received prosecutorial framing but no clinical analysis at trial. The relationship between Shirilla and Russo featured a documented cycle of separation and reconciliation, mutual escalation, and conflicting accounts of violent incidents. The I-71 episode is illustrative: prosecution testimony attributed a threat to crash the vehicle to Shirilla. Text message evidence showed Shirilla provided an alternative account to the victim's mother, attributing the steering intervention to Russo. Two contradictory versions of the same incident. The defense did not challenge the prosecution's account.Scott examines the clinical significance of the relationship cycle — why separation constitutes an identity-level threat for individuals with Shirilla's psychological profile, how self-harm threats function within volatile adolescent relationships, and whether the behavioral evidence supports premeditated calculation or emotional deregulation in an adolescent brain that had not completed neurological development.Join Our SubStack For AD-FREE ADVANCE EPISODES & EXTRAS!: https://hiddenkillers.substack.com/Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? In this special episode of Scottish Murders, Dawn and her husband Peter recount the tragic and gripping case of Darryl Fitch, who was murdered in 2015. As they travel to Glasgow to participate in a Peninsula TV documentary about the case, they discuss the timeline, investigation, and trial that followed Darryl's death. The episode offers a detailed, reflective look at the complexities of the murder, the courtroom drama, forensic evidence, and the heart-breaking aftermath for Darryl's loved ones.Three Takeaways:The Tragic Murder of Darryl Fitch and Investigation ComplexitiesDarryl Fitch was found murdered in July 2015 while on a fishing and camping trip with his close friend, William Cameron. The initial lack of witnesses, William's injuries and memory gaps, combined with the isolated location near Bridge of Weir, created significant challenges for investigators. The forensic work was further complicated by missed opportunities, such as failing to examine a potential secondary crime scene near a viaduct. The Role of Drugs, Amnesia, and Changing TestimonyWilliam Cameron, the only survivor, was found with a high level of unprescribed drugs in his system, which could account for his confusion and memory loss about the events leading to Darryl's death. His account was vague, with repeated changes and increasing elaboration, raising scepticism and ultimately contributing to his arrest.Profound Impact on Victims' Loved Ones and Themes of BetrayalThe episode highlighted the devastating emotional toll on Darryl's girlfriend Mhairi, who lost both her partner and, just months earlier, her sister to separate acts of violence by trusted individuals. Mhairi's reflections on betrayal and shock were deeply felt, particularly after realising William's guilt during the trial.SOURCES:Please see our website for all source material and photos at https://scottishmurders.com/episodes/darrylfitchBritish Newspaper Archives Affiliate LinkSUPPORT US:Ko-fi - ko-fi.com/scottishmurdersMerch - teepublic.com/user/scottishmurdersWebsite - scottishmurders.comInstagram - @scottishmurderspodcastCREDITS:Scottish Murders is a production of CluarantonnHosted by Dawn YoungResearched, Written and Edited by Dawn YoungProduction Company Name by Granny Robertson

This episode of The Rizzuto Show proves that no topic is too weird, too unnecessary, or too medically concerning to become content. It's a funny podcast that starts off innocent enough—just a bunch of grown adults arguing about the world's largest random objects like it's a legitimate academic discussion. From giant baseball bats to entire towns dedicated to oversized nonsense, we fully commit to asking the question nobody needed answered: “Who decided this should be huge?”But then… things spiral. Fast.We get into a real-life case of someone experiencing amnesia after straining too hard (yes, THAT kind of straining), and suddenly the show turns into a cautionary tale about fiber intake and life choices. Naturally, we follow that up with foreign accent syndrome—because why not throw in a medical mystery where your brain just decides you're Irish now? Totally normal funny podcast behavior. As if that wasn't enough, the conversation somehow escalates into sneeze-related injuries that sound fake but absolutely are not. We're talking ribs popping, windpipes tearing, and one story that will make you reconsider ever holding in a sneeze again. This is the kind of daily comedy chaos that makes you laugh… and also quietly question your own mortality. And just when you think we've peaked, goat yoga enters the chat. What starts as “aww, cute animals” quickly becomes “wait… parasites?” The debate between living your best life and avoiding microscopic disaster has never been more ridiculous—or more on-brand for a funny podcast like this.We wrap things up with celebrity news, tour drama, and the usual mix of sarcasm, roasting, and questionable life advice that somehow keeps this daily show rolling. It's messy, it's hilarious, and it's exactly what you expect from The Rizzuto Show.Follow The Rizzuto Show → linktr.ee/rizzshow for more from your favorite daily comedy show.Connect with The Rizzuto Show Comedy Podcast online → 1057thepoint.com/RizzShow.Hear The Rizz Show daily on the radio at 105.7 The Point | Hubbard Radio in St. Louis, MO.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
