Today we have with us Tom O’Gorman of TOMO Racing. Tom is an extremely accomplished autocrosser, having won 2013 SCCA National Solo Championships, the 2012 and 2013 SCCA Pro Solo Championships, and being declared the 2013 SCCA Solo Driver of the Year. He also has had success in indoor karting both here in the US and in Germany. In 2014, Tom began road racing in the SCCA Improved Touring C class in a Honda Civic and won pole for both races of his debut weekend, winning one of those races. His success earned him the Rookie of the Year honors in the Ohio Valley Region SCCA. Tom now races a Honda Fit in the Pirelli World Challenge Touring Car B-Spec class. In addition to his racing program, Tom serves as a full-time performance driving instructor with the SCCA Starting Line School, which is where I first met Tom, and heads the Koni Novice program for the SCCA’s Track Night in America program.
