The Los Angeles Angels have been working to improve the roster this off-season, and today, we're taking it one step further by putting YOUR trade suggestions into the Baseball Trade Simulator! While the Simulator evaluates players based on skill, age, and contract (including the number of years they have left), it's important to know that while it may not always evaluate the way MLB Front Offices might, it's a fun experiment that helps fans understand what it might take to net a top-of-the-line starter like Tyler Glasnow or a future prospect like the Yankees' Anthony Volpe! As a beginner trader who is getting started in the markets, demo trading (”simulator” or “paper”) is a fantastic tool. With that being said, many beginner traders do not realize the hidden problem with using a simulator to practice their trading. It's a fine line that exists between “being worthwhile” and “being worthless”. In my opinion, it's all about how you approach the tools that are used for practice trading. If you use the tools under the awareness of what I talk about in this video, they'll become much more valuable (still not perfect though). For many though, they will never watch this video and are never going to be aware of this hidden problem until it's too late and they're suffering heartache and headaches. Let me walk you through this problem by showing you a few examples of just sneaky it is, leading people to clearly not be aware of it at all.

It goes without saying that racing is expensive. It's also clear that there's no substitute for seat time – or is there? The use of racing simulators has been increasing over the last few years and really exploded when the COVID-19 pandemic hit. The beauty of using a racing simulator is that you're still able to get “seat time” but at a substantially lower cost than actually hitting the track. Not only do you save time and money, but the results can be astounding. Drivers have learned race tracks to such an extent that the very first time they visit; they come home in Victory Lane! Frank Rico is an expert in auto racing simulators. His company Ricmotech Racing Simulators has supplied sim units to drivers in the NTT IndyCar Series, NASCAR and many other professional racing series. Amateur racers and gamers alike have also used his racing equipment to improve their skills behind the wheel. In Part 1, we learn how Rico got started in the industry and he gives valuable insights into how it's evolved over the years. He shares his experience with the hardware, software and how best to use it to your advantage. Enjoy! NOTE: In Part 2, Rico explains how data acquisition is also part of today's simulator experience and how driver coaches work with their drivers to improve their craft. We'll also have video of his top of the line simulator that's available for racers to rent or purchase. By Larry Mason Copyright © 2022 Larry Mason

Big Drive Spence played in a simulator golf league this week which changed his outlook on simulator golf as a whole. While he was there though, the ultimate tough guy d----ebag was in the bay next him "hitting bombs" so the boys had a good laugh about it. Jon Rahm spoke out last week about how tough the field was at the DP World Tour this past week and how those players were getting the short end of the stick in official golf world rankings points. He then went on to back up his words in a way by going on to win the event. They finish up the pod with some random talk about the guy who claims he created the PGA Tour leaderboard online and what they're thankful for. Learn more about your ad choices. God of War: Ragnarok has finally arrived, and with it comes opinions. A whole slate of them. The three of us have sat with the newest PlayStation 5 smash-hit for varying amounts of time, and we come away with equally-varying opinions that we're eager to share, expand upon, and challenge. Needless to say, we spend a whole lot of time talking about the game this week, so buckle-in. We also delve into the last seven days' news, touching on Witcher III's much-delayed PS5 release, the official announcement of Remedy's Control 2, Embracer's perilous studio structure in the face of a truncating games industry, and more. We round things out, as always, with listener inquiries generated from our audience on Patreon. Is Sacred Symbols taking on too negative a tenor as of late? Nobody wants to put on a show that's all war stories. It sounds like you're trying to fluff your resume and can bore others who've also been there and done that. Plus you don't want to talk out of school. At the same time, there's a lot of hard-won institutional knowledge that can come from those stories, especially the ones where Jim almost died. In this episode, Mike and Jim relax and let Jim share some of the lessons he's learned from scaring himself half to death. Hard landings, cockpit equipment malfunctions, fires, and near-miss almost midair collisions while in an inverted spin, these situations that were terrifying at the time can be humorous in retrospect as long as everyone lived. More importantly, they all offer the sort of lessons that can't be learned from a PowerPoint presentation, only by things going badly wrong in real time. Jim's here to pass his hard won lessons on to you. And watch out for pterodactyls! Like what we're doing? Head over to Patreon and give us a buck for each new episode. We're going to take a closer look at some of the hardware you'll need to start building a pro-spec racing simulator rig. And to do that, we've enlisted the help of Howard Yang. Not only is Howard the founder of GTR Simulator, he's an experienced racer with plenty of seat time in the cockpit of serious race cars, particularly in the former Grand Am Road Racing Series. Now retired from racing, Howard spends his time designing professional-spec racing simulators. Better still, he's got a Rolodex full of current race car drivers that he calls upon to offer insight into his racing sim development.
