Why is it that we persecute those who believe differently than we do? Why do neighbors turn on each other? On this episode, I present a brief overview of the history of witch hunts starting with the early Biblical accounts of witches to the hysteria of the European and American witch hunts of the 15th, 16th and 17th centuries and beyond. People were left dead in their wake. This has left spiritual residue leading to hauntings. The Moment in Oddity was suggested by listener Laura Ann Williams and features a death mask becoming model for Annie the CPR Doll and This Month in History features the Jetsons airing for the first time. Retired agent Jerri Williams served in the FBI for 26 years. During most of her Bureau career, she worked major economic fraud investigations targeting financial crimes and corruption. In this episode of FBI Retired Case File Review, she reviews the Foundation of New Era Philanthropy investigation, a $350 million Ponzi scheme perpetrated against unsuspecting nonprofit organizations, high profiled philanthropists, and beneficiary donors, which resulted in a 12-year prison sentence and multiple forfeitures. The case and Jerri Williams were featured on the CNBC show, American Greed, Confessions of a Con Man. She received a United States Attorney Award for Distinguished Service for her work on the New Era Philanthropy case, as well as two additional U.S. Attorney Awards for her work on an international advance fee scam, and a business to business telemarketing fraud. Toward the end of her FBI career, Jerri Williams was appointed as the spokesperson for the Philadelphia Division of the FBI, taking on the responsibility of educating and informing the media and public about the Bureau. Post-FBI retirement, Jerri served as the spokesperson and Director of Media Relations for SEPTA, Philadelphia’s public transportation provider. Both positions often placed her in the spotlight in front of local and national news media. Jerri Williams is the author of two crime novels. Her recently published novel, Greedy Givers, was inspired by the Foundation of New Era Philanthropy investigation discussed in this episode. (I'm interviewed by Deana Marie, host of Twisted Philly Podcast. Thanks, Deana!) Join my reader team and keep up to date on the FBI in books, TV, and movies. Jerri Williams, a retired FBI agent, author and podcaster, attempts to relive her glory days by writing crime fiction about greed and hosting FBI Retired Case File Review, a true crime/history podcast. Her novels—Pay To Play and Greedy Givers—inspired by actual true crime FBI cases and featuring temptation, corruption, and redemption, are available at amazon.com.

Cape May in New Jersey is considered to be America's oldest seaside resort and while the word "cape" is part of its name, Cape May is actually an island. Dr. Emlen Physick, Jr. built his home on Cape May at the age of 21 and he spent his entire life there. The estate is gorgeous with a unique "Stick-Style" Victorian architecture style. The doctor clearly loved the home that he shared with three other family members. They all died here and perhaps that is why it is believed that all of their spirits have remained here as well. Join us and Deana Marie of the TwistedPhilly Podcast as we discuss the history and hauntings of the Emlen Physick Estate! Moment in Oddity was suggested by Lindsey Sutton and features Kurt Cobain and Layne Staley dying on same date and This Month in History features first car number plate issued in England. Our location was suggested by Becki Fleming. Hello and welcome to another episode of wondering when the kids all started looking like adults, or as we like to call it, Now That I'm Older. This week we start out with how trying to be a nice guy can come back to bite you in the ass. Then we move into how Shane is more willing to do backbreaking labor than to spend money. Then we move into how Kenny's Grandma is more willing to have a garden than a retaining wall. This week we shouted out these #PodernFamily shows: Most Notorious!; I Am One With My Soul and the Nudging 30 Podcast and we spun promos for Twisted Philly Podcast and the Boondoggle Podcast. So check out the show and tell every single chick you know, who owns a cat about it. Listen guys and gals, if she doesn't have a boyfriend or a husband and lives alone with a cat, well let's just say she may need a little pick me up, and we can be that pick me up. Come on. Don't save all the NTIO to yourself ya selfish bastard, Share!!!
Philadelphia is the largest city in the state of Pennsylvania and is known as the "City of Brotherly Love." In 1871, construction on the beautiful and uniquely designed Philadelphia City Hall began. It took thirty years to complete and was topped with a statue of the man who founded Philadelphia and for whom Pennsylvania is named, William Penn. American history has its heart in Philly. This is where the Founding Fathers gathered to declare the country's independence. It is only fitting that the city would be represented with a magnificent city hall. Deana Marie of the TwistedPhilly Podcast joins us on this episode to share her love of this city, the history of this building and the hauntings that are taking place within its walls. The Moment in Oddity was suggested by listener BriAnne Barre and features The Bleeding House on Fountain Drive and This Month in History features Buchenwald liberated by U.S. Troops. "Twisted Rob and Slim" We opened the show with "Without Jew" by Rucka Rucka Ali and Rob was so offended he quit. When he remembered Slim can't broadcast worth a shit, he returned with Deana from The Twisted Philly podcast. We talked about a piece of shit priest and Charlie Murphy passing away. Since Slambo was out on a meth binge, Slim did "Slim sings the hits" and performed "Bounce Back" by Big Sean, then we performed the third episode of "Too Many Rapes. We revealed the results of our Real Tea vs. Snapple poll to settle our feud with The Murder Dictionary Podcast, and Rob talked about his new restaurant chain "Drizzlebees". We interviewed Deana from The Twisted Philly Podcast, Todd Tochioka from www.SnugComics.com, Sir-Vive and Johnny G from Tha Kanka Sorz, the always hilarious Comedian Lucas Corvatta, Comedian Reggie Wade, and Ginni Saraswati from The Ginni Show Podcast. It was an amazing show!

We opened with "I Love Minorities" by Rucka Rucka Ali which we're pretty sure he performed live at Donald Trump's Inauguration. We talked about the inauguration since nothing else had been in the news, got a Where's Slambo update, stupid old whore Madonna's speech at the Woman's March, and tried the new Red Velvet Kit Kat bars for Valentine's Day. We were joined live in studio by Magician Michael Sloves from The Magicast Podcast, talked to Deana from The Twisted Philly Podcast, MLB pitcher and musician Brett Myers, Spicoli from Spicoli TV, and Dave and Jerry from The Bad Cop Bad Cop Podcast. It was a great time!
