Daily (Monday through Friday, excluding major holidays) less than 5 minute Bible devotional to help get your day started right. Practical topics that will help grow and strengthen your walk with Jesus.

When life gets hard, it can feel like God has stepped away. Elijah faced this reality as Israel fell deeper into sin under King Ahab and Jezebel's influence. Yet even in a nation drowning in idolatry and personal heartbreak—like the death of the widow's son—God was still near. This episode explores what happens when we feel distant from God, how our obedience or disobedience affects His presence in our lives, and how Christ reminds us that love and obedience go hand in hand.

In this episode, we explore what it truly means to love like Jesus — not just those who love us back, but even those who oppose or mistreat us. Through Jesus' words in Matthew 5 and His parable of the Good Samaritan in Luke 10, we discover that genuine love goes far beyond feelings or convenience. It is an active, selfless compassion that mirrors the heart of God.

God doesn't call the perfect, polished, or powerful—He calls the humble, the willing, and the brokenhearted. In this episode, we look at how Jesus chose people others overlooked and why true qualification in God's kingdom isn't about outward success but inner surrender. From the calling of Levi the tax collector to the encounter with the rich young ruler, we'll explore what it means to truly respond to God's call and not just appear religious on the outside.

In this episode, we explore how the message of the cross stands in stark contrast to the wisdom of the world. Paul faced a culture in Athens that was obsessed with knowledge, philosophy, and reasoning, yet he boldly proclaimed Christ crucified. The gospel may seem foolish to some, but it reveals the true wisdom and power of God to those who believe. Join us as we unpack how this truth still challenges hearts and minds today—and how we can share it boldly in a world that often misunderstands it.

No power on earth can silence the truth of the Gospel. Even when the apostles were imprisoned and threatened, they kept proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ with boldness and faith. In this episode, we look at how the Gospel continues to spread despite opposition, persecution, or fear—and how believers today are called to carry that same unstoppable message with courage and conviction.

In this episode, we explore Paul's deep, unwavering desire to truly know Jesus—not just in knowledge, but in experience, relationship, and faithfulness. Through his letters, Paul reveals what it means to live a life of total devotion, endurance, and intimacy with Christ. His example challenges us to evaluate the depth of our own relationship with Jesus and to pursue Him with the same relentless passion.

Bible study isn't just an optional practice—it's the foundation of a strong, growing faith. In this episode, we look at how the Word of God strengthens, equips, and transforms the believer. When we study Scripture, we fan into flame the gift God has placed within us and allow His truth to shape our thoughts, words, and actions.

Psalm 119 ends with a cry for understanding and deliverance — a reminder that even the most faithful hearts depend on God's mercy and guidance. In this episode, we reflect on the psalmist's humility, his love for God's commands, and his recognition that true wisdom and restoration come only from the Lord. Join us as we talk about what it means to seek understanding, live in obedience, and trust God's grace when we've gone astray.

Through one man's disobedience, sin and death entered the world. But through one man's obedience, life and righteousness were made available to all. In this episode, we explore the powerful contrast between Adam's fall and Christ's faithfulness — how the curse brought by sin was broken by Jesus' perfect obedience. We'll discover how this truth changes not only our understanding of salvation but also how we live each day in gratitude and obedience to the One who gave us life.

When we try to hide our sins, we only make things worse — but when we bring them into the light, we find freedom, forgiveness, and restoration through Christ. In this episode, we'll look at the difference between concealing sin and confessing it, why honesty before God matters, and how confession leads to cleansing.

Life brings challenges that test our faith—but not every hardship comes from the same place. In this episode, we explore the key difference between trials that strengthen us and temptations that seek to destroy us. Drawing from James 1, we uncover how God uses trials to mature our faith, while the enemy uses temptation to lure us into sin. Learn how to discern which one you're facing, and how to respond with wisdom, endurance, and steadfast faith.

The enemy is strategic, persistent, and deceptive — but God has given us every tool we need to stand firm. In this episode, we unpack the armor of God found in Ephesians 6:10–17 and discover how each piece equips us to resist the devil's schemes. Learn how to recognize spiritual attacks, guard your heart, and remain steadfast in faith, trusting in the unchanging truth of Christ.

In this episode, we're diving into the story of Peter's denial of Jesus — a moment of fear, pressure, and regret that mirrors the struggles many of us face when our faith is tested. Yet, Peter's story doesn't end in failure; it becomes a powerful testimony of grace and transformation. We'll explore what it means to be bold in your faith, even when it's unpopular or uncomfortable, and how the Holy Spirit gives us courage to stand firm and speak truth in love.

In this episode, we explore how Satan uses fear, isolation, and discouragement to draw us away from faith—just as he did with Elijah after Jezebel's threats. Though Elijah had just witnessed God's mighty power, he fled in fear and despair. The enemy often uses the same tactics today—distorting our perception, amplifying our fears, and making us forget who God is and what He's already done. Discover how to recognize these spiritual tactics and respond with truth, faith, and renewed confidence in God's voice.

Doubt can be one of the enemy's most subtle and effective tools. It begins as a question — a whisper that challenges what God has already said. In this episode, we look at how the devil uses doubt to weaken our faith and open the door to temptation. Drawing from the lives of Thomas, Martha and Mary, and the disciples, we'll see how even believers can wrestle with doubt, and how Jesus meets us there — not to condemn us, but to strengthen our faith.

When life feels overwhelming and every door seems closed, it's easy to wonder if God has forgotten you. But He never leaves His children alone. In this episode, we explore how God's unseen presence and power are always at work, even when we can't see a way out. Through the stories of Elisha's servant, Moses' encouragement to Israel, and Jesus' escape from the crowd, we'll be reminded that the Lord stands with us in every battle, surrounding us with His protection and purpose.

It's easy to get caught looking back—longing for what used to be or wishing things had turned out differently. But when we live in the past, we can miss the very blessings God has placed right in front of us today. In this episode, we'll talk about letting go of yesterday so we can walk forward in faith, joy, and gratitude for what God is doing right now.

In this episode, we look closely at how temptation works in everyday life through the lens of 1 John 2:16 and the fall of Adam and Eve in Genesis 3:1–8. Satan challenged their understanding of God's Word, appealing to the desires of the flesh, the desires of the eyes, and the pride of life. We'll explore how these same tactics show up in our lives today and how we can respond with truth and faith.

Temptation is something every believer faces, but God equips us to overcome it. In this episode, we look at what temptation really is, why it's so dangerous, and how Jesus overcame it in the wilderness. By studying 1 John 2:15–17 and Matthew 4:1–10, we'll discover how the Word of God and a heart set on Him are our strongest defenses against the enemy's schemes.

Life rarely unfolds the way we expect. Setbacks, disappointments, and unexpected challenges can leave us feeling disoriented and discouraged. Yet the Bible reminds us that when our plans fail, God is still faithful, and He calls us to seek Him in prayer. In this episode, we'll explore how faithful men and women of God turned to Him in their moments of crisis and how we can do the same today.

The call to the believer is not only to recognize falsehood, but to cling tightly to the unshakeable Word of God.

We live in a time when truth is often traded for lies, and many are drawn to teachings that satisfy personal desires rather than God's Word. In this episode, we explore the warnings of Scripture about false teachers, deceptive spirits, and empty religion that denies the power of God. From John's urgent reminder of the antichrist spirit to Paul's warning about itching ears and empty faith, these passages remind us of the danger of counterfeit Christianity and the need to cling to the true gospel of Christ.

Why does the world so often resist the truth of God's Word? From Jesus' own rejection to the persecution of the early church, Scripture reminds us that truth is rarely welcomed with open arms. In this episode, we explore why people hate the truth, how it exposes hearts, and how we as believers can respond with courage, grace, and unwavering faith.

In this episode, we explore the sobering picture of separation—the wheat gathered safely and the chaff burned away. Jesus reminds us that not everyone who appears to belong truly does, and that God is not deceived. We'll look at how this truth applies not only to our personal walk of faith but also to the church today, challenging us to examine our hearts and live with authenticity before the Lord.

Leaving a legacy isn't about wealth or recognition—it's about what we treasure, how we live, and who we serve.

Every person leaves a legacy, but not every legacy points to Christ. In this episode, we reflect on Paul's words in 2 Timothy 4:6-8, where he looks back over his life with confidence in God's faithfulness. Paul fought the good fight, finished the race, and kept the faith. What will your legacy say about you? Join us as we explore how to live with eternity in view and leave behind a testimony of faith that inspires generations to come.

By grounding ourselves in God's promises and pressing forward with courage, we can learn to endure with joy and confidence, knowing that eternal glory far outweighs temporary struggles.

In this episode, we explore the call to live unashamed of the gospel, even in the face of trials and suffering. We'll learn how to boldly follow Jesus, endure hardship, and model our lives in a way that points others to Him.

In this episode, Courage in the Face of Suffering Part 1, we take a deep look at what it means to stand unashamed for Christ even in the midst of trials. From stories of victory against impossible odds to promises of God's steadfast presence, we'll learn how trust transforms fear into faith.

We must make sure we test and try the spirits to be sure they are of God. This means the music we sing, the podcasts we listen to, the preachers who teach us the Bible. We must make sure to test all things, then hold on to the things which are good and just. Don't fall victim to false teachings. Not everything that has a Christian label on it is good for us.

In First Thessalonians 5, Paul gives us a list of things that we need to apply to our lives if we want to live for Jesus.

In James 1:22-25, we're reminded that faith is not just about hearing God's Word—it's about living it. Too often, we can nod along in agreement during a sermon or Bible reading, yet walk away unchanged. In this episode, we explore how to bridge the gap between knowing and doing, so that we become people whose lives reflect the truth we believe. God's Word is a mirror showing us who we are and who we can be through Christ—let's not walk away and forget the reflection.

Songs can powerfully remind us of who we are in Jesus, but they can also mix truth with phrases that need biblical clarity. In this episode, we'll explore how Scripture confirms our identity as God's children, loved beyond measure, made in His image, and freed from the lies of the enemy. We'll also address common misunderstandings—like thinking we earn God's pride through performance or that He accepts us without desiring to transform us. The goal is to embrace the beauty of God's truth while keeping our theology anchored in His Word.

James reminds us that many of life's struggles and conflicts begin in our own hearts. We chase what we want, we quarrel, and we often seek fulfillment apart from God. But the answer isn't found in striving—it's in surrender. In this episode, we'll look at how humility, repentance, and submission to God lead to true peace. When we resist the devil and turn our hearts toward the Lord, He promises to draw near to us and lift us up in His grace.

Jesus said in John 3:19-20 that men loved their sin more than God. That people stayed away from God because they didn't want their evil deeds exposed. These warnings are still present today. In todays episode, I look at two recent events that happened in the world, and show how they relate to the words of Jesus. Keep praying and sharing Jesus with those around you.
