Why do so many people resist the life-changing message of Jesus? In this episode, we explore the deeper issues of the heart and mind that can keep someone from embracing the truth of the gospel. Whether you're seeking understanding or looking for ways to reach others with compassion and clarity, this conversation sheds light on the spiritual barriers that stand in the way—and how God can break through them.
From the crowd shouting “Crucify Him!” in Mark 15, to Joshua's bold call, “Choose this day whom you will serve,” to King Agrippa's near-conversion in Acts 26—Scripture reminds us that every heart stands at a crossroads. In this episode, we reflect on the urgency of choosing Jesus—not someday, but today. Indecision is still a decision. Delayed obedience is still disobedience. The question isn't just historical—it's personal: Will you follow Him, or walk away? Don't wait. The choice is yours… and it matters for eternity.
In this episode, we explore the profound biblical commandment to honor our parents, rooted in both Old and New Testament teachings. From the foundational law in Exodus 20:11 and Deuteronomy 5:16, to the solemn warning in Deuteronomy 27:16, and the New Testament reinforcement in Ephesians 6:1-3, we uncover the spiritual weight and blessing attached to honoring our father and mother. We'll also reflect on Jesus' personal example in John 19:26-27 and His broader teaching in Matthew 12:48, where we learn how honor and obedience transcend bloodlines to reflect God's heart. Join us for a thoughtful, Scripture-rich conversation on what it truly means to live out this commandment today.
Jesus said in John 3:19-20 that men loved their sin more than God. That people stayed away from God because they didn't want their evil deeds exposed. These warnings are still present today. In todays episode, I look at two recent events that happened in the world, and show how they relate to the words of Jesus. Keep praying and sharing Jesus with those around you.
In Luke 17:1–5, Jesus speaks some of His most challenging words—warnings about causing others to stumble, commands to forgive repeatedly, and a call to live by faith. In this episode, we explore what it means to walk in humility, extend forgiveness without limit, and trust God when obedience feels too hard. If you've ever struggled to forgive—or to believe you can—this episode will help you lean into the strength that comes through faith in Christ.
Luke 15 gives us a glimpse into the heart of God—a Father who searches, a Shepherd who pursues, and a Savior who rejoices over the found. In this episode, we reflect on the parables of the lost sheep, the lost coin, and the prodigal son. Whether you're wandering, waiting, or wondering if God still sees you, be reminded: He hasn't stopped looking. Let this be an invitation to rest in His relentless grace and come home to joy.
In this episode, we dive deep into Jeremiah 2:13 (KJV) — “For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water.” What does it mean to forsake the fountain of living waters? How do we, even today, create “broken cisterns” in our lives? Join us as we unpack this powerful verse, exploring its historical context, spiritual implications, and practical relevance. It's a call to return to the source — to God Himself — and to stop seeking satisfaction in things that ultimately leave us dry and empty.
The end of Luke 18:8 says, “Nevertheless when the Son of Man come the, shall he find faith on the earth?” We look at Luke 18:1-26 and talk about faith. How can you make sure you have the faith that Jesus is looking for.
John 6 is a chapter of hard teachings by Jesus. How do you handle hard teaching in the Bible. In this chapter, people quite following Jesus because the teachings were too hard for them to comprehend. When hard teachings come (and they will), that is not the time to abandon your faith. It's time to dig in, pray and seek the answers you are looking for.
In Jeremiah 2, God is talking about the faithlessness of Israel. He is asking Israel why they have turned their back on God, and chased after things that are worthless. Here we are, thousands of years later, and people are still turning their back on God. Have you?
The religious leaders failed to recognize Jesus as the Messiah for a variety of reasons. One of which is because they focused on their man made laws and traditions instead of seeing the miracles that Jesus did. Don't become a Pharisee.
In Mark chapters 1 and 2, we see the calling of the first disciples by Jesus. He simply said “Follow Me” and they left all and followed Him. What keeps us from leaving everything to follow Him?
A man, sick with a disease, surrounded himself with friends that would stop at nothing to get their friend healed. We need to imitate this example.
We can learn some valuable things from a man sick with leprosy. Today, we are looking at Mark 1:40-45, and Jesus' healing of a leper.
One thing we see throughout the Gospels is that Jesus took time to be alone with the Father in prayer. Jesus spent countless hours ministering to the people in Israel, but He also always took time for prayer. By spending time in prayer, we not only draw close to God, but we have an understanding of our calling. When was the last time you prayed?
Mark 1:29-34, we see Jesus entering the house of Simon, and finding our his mother in law is sick in bed. Jesus heals her sickness, and immediately she serves them. Later, all the town brings those that are sick and demon possessed to Jesus for healing. It may be your prayer that brings healing to your loved one. Who do you need to pray for today?
People were amazed at the teaching of Jesus, the authority of Jesus & the power of Jesus. Jesus did and said things they'd never heard before. What if we followed in His footsteps and did things that people today had never seen or heard?
Jesus heals a demon possessed man in Mark 1:23-26, Yet, we can learn more about Jesus through His interaction with the demon possessing this man. Is belief enough? Well, even the devils believe, and look where it got them.
Jesus entered the synagogue and taught as one who had authority is what we read in Mark 1:21-22z and the people were astonished because He taught better than the scribes the people were used to. Why is that? Because Jesus knew the Scriptures and knew the message God had given Him. We need to follow the leading of God when we tell others about Jesus. If God calls you to share your faith with someone, then God will give you the words to say. Your part is to be obedient.
The verses we look at in this episode all have one thing in common- your obedience matters. God wants your obedience. God wants you to trust Him.
Could it be that we have our focus on the wrong thing? Jesus calls His first disciples and told them He'd make them fishers of men. Fishing they understood. Jesus didn't use bait, He simply called people to repentance. Our focus must shift from using “bait” to call people to Christ, and use the Gospel to call people to repentance. When Peter and the disciples went fishing in John 21, they caught nothing. When they followed Jesus' instructions, they caught so much that their nets began to break. Maybe we need to follow Jesus' calling to repent and believe.
During trials, actually at all times, we need to keep our focus on Jesus.
In this episode, we explore the deep wisdom of Psalm 141:3–5—a heartfelt prayer from David seeking God's help to guard his mouth, resist wickedness, and remain open to correction from the righteous. Join us as we unpack the beauty and challenge of living with integrity in a world full of distractions and temptations. Whether you're seeking spiritual encouragement or practical insight on walking faithfully, this meditation offers both a warning and a hope: that discipline, spoken in love, is a gift—and that true strength is found in surrendering our words and will to God.
In today's episode, we pause with David in the quiet of Psalm 141:1–2, where he pleads, “O Lord, I call upon You; hasten to me! Give ear to my voice when I call to You! Let my prayer be counted as incense before You, and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice.” This is more than a cry for help—it's a posture of surrender, reverence, and trust. Together, we'll reflect on what it means to let our prayers rise like incense, especially in the moments when words feel few and the heart feels heavy. You're invited to slow down, breathe deep, and let this ancient song shape your evening offering to God.
In this episode, we explore Jesus' final words before His ascension—words that still echo in the hearts of believers today. From the Great Commission in Matthew 28:19–20 to the empowering promise of the Holy Spirit in Acts 1:8, we unpack how Christ sends His followers into the world with purpose and power. We also reflect on the angelic reminder in Acts 1:11 that He will return just as He left, and the personal call in John 21:20–22 to follow Jesus faithfully, without distraction or comparison. Join us as we dive into these pivotal scriptures and consider what it means to be a faithful witness in our time.
Why is it that even after choosing to follow Jesus, we still struggle with sin? Why do we fall into the same patterns, even when our hearts long to live differently? In this episode, we talk about the inner battle every Christian faces — the tension between the flesh and the Spirit, guilt and grace, striving and surrender. We'll explore what Scripture says about this fight, how to navigate it without giving in to shame, and why God's love doesn't depend on our perfection. If you've ever felt like you're failing God or wondered why holiness feels so hard, this conversation is for you.
In a world filled with distractions, pressures, and shifting values, how do we stay grounded in our faith in Jesus Christ? In this episode, we dive deep into Romans 8, one of the most powerful and hope-filled chapters in Scripture, to explore what it means to walk in the Spirit and not in the flesh. Whether you're feeling spiritually dry, challenged by the world around you, or simply looking to deepen your walk with God, this episode will offer biblical insight and encouragement to help you live with confidence and purpose.
Shame called. Guilt texted. Condemnation knocked. But guess what? You don't live there anymore. In this episode, we unpack the freedom bomb dropped in Romans 8:1—“There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” That's not a cute suggestion. It's a kingdom fact. If you've been dragging around spiritual baggage Jesus already paid to check, it's time to let it go. Walk in grace, drop the guilt trip, and stop giving the enemy a seat at a table he wasn't invited to.
You've got gifts—divinely wrapped and Spirit-delivered—and no, sitting on them isn't an option. In this episode, we dive into 1 Corinthians 12:7-18 and call out the holy hesitation that keeps too many believers spiritually stagnant. From wisdom to healing to speaking in tongues (yes, we're going there), it's time to stop acting like you're giftless. Every part of the body matters, and spoiler alert: that includes you. Tune in, get uncomfortable, and let's stop ghosting the Holy Ghost.
In this episode, we explore two powerful moments of rejection in the New Testament: Jesus being turned away in His hometown of Nazareth and by the people of the Gadarenes. What do these rejections reveal about human nature, spiritual blindness, and the cost of truth? Then we shift to the Apostle Paul's unexpected call to Macedonia—a reminder that divine redirection often follows human rejection. Join us as we reflect on how God's purpose prevails, even when the world says “no.”
Many of us need to learn how to let go. Let go of the things that cause us to worry. Worry is not something God wants us to carry. Today, we will learn how to let go of our worries, and embrace the peace that only God can give.
With all that is going on in our country right now, I wanted to make sure that everyone knows that Heaven has immigration rules. What are they? Let's look.
Acts 2:41-47, here we get a glimpse of the early church. We need to be more like this, and less like the church is now.
After the Holy Spirit was poured out on the disciples on the day of Pentecost, Peter preached a hard hitting sermon to those who were in Jerusalem. The people responded by asking “What shall we do.” We need to respond like this, but instead, we usually sit in church saying “Lord, Bless me if you can.” We got our priorities mixed up.
God pours out His Spirit into those who put their faith in Him. The question is, does the Spirit flow through you as you use your spiritual gifts? Or are you like. Spiritual dam where the Spirit goes no where.
God wants to give you a sound mind. A mind that is at peace with God, a mind that is focused on Him, and not the world. Are you ready to receive that mind today?
Jesus called us to walk in love. Unfortunately the world doesn't have the proper biblical definition of love. Love involves doing things that many don't associate with love. Things like judgement, like sharing Jesus.
God gives us power to do several things, including living for Him in this lost world. In fact, Jesus prayers that God will protect us from this evil world. We need to start using the power that God has given us to show Him to a lost and hurting world.
2 Timothy 4:7, Paul is teaching that God did not give us fear. Fear paralyzes our faith and renders us useless to God.
We are looking at 1 Thessalonians 4:7 and seeing what God has called us to, and what He has called us to abstain from.
There have been posts on social media lately that has caused me to scratch my head and say “huh?” One recently was someone posted that we need to read Ephesians 5:14, this verse proves that the Bible is “woke.” Friends, this kind of false teaching is all over our world today. We must make sure we walk right in this world, we need to awaken from our sleep and pull our heads out of the sand. By the way, Ephesians 5:14 is calling us to awaken out of our sleep and start living in the light of God.
Your faith is either proven or disproven by the works you do. Faith and works go together. Your works prove your faith. Your faith prove your works.
Today, we are going to look at a trial example. Trials are a part of life, and I will review what a trial is. I will also look at a real life example of someone who gone through a trial, and how they handled it.

What does it mean to be set apart in a modern world, that is my topic for today. We live in a world where everyone is encouraged to do what they please, not matter the consequences. The Bible paints a different picture. One where God desires us to be holy, to be set apart, not following the things the world chases after. This episode will challenge your way of living in our modern world.
We are told throughout Scripture the importance of prayer. We taught how to pray and how not to pray. But, the question I want to pose to you today is: Do you expect anything out of prayer. In Acts 12, we read about Peter being thrown in prison, and the church praying consistently for him. When Peter shows up at the door, the people praying for him first don't believe it's actually him, then are astonished at the sight. Listen to this episode, and take time to look at your prayer life and prayer habits, and start praying the way Jesus would want us to pray-expectantly.
Todays episode teaches us what True Revival is. I will give you a hint-true revival runs on the timetable of God, not mans timetable. We will discuss the definition of revival and look at some examples of revival in the Bible.
Sometimes we get a little cold. I don't mean cold as in a lack of heat. I mean cold as in our faith grows cold. When that happens, it usually means that there is something (sin) blocking our relationship with Jesus. In this episode, we look at what it means to be revived and what is essential to being revived.
What is your affection set on? Seriously, what has your focus day in and day out? Bills? Vacation? Work? If you answer anything but Jesus, then your focus and affection is on the wrong things. If you want to build a rock solid faith in Jesus that will stand strong in whatever life throws at you, then you must keep your eyes fixed on Him. Are you ready to do that?
