From stories of victory against impossible odds to promises of God's steadfast presence, we'll learn how trust transforms fear into faith.
We must make sure we test and try the spirits to be sure they are of God. This means the music we sing, the podcasts we listen to, the preachers who teach us the Bible. We must make sure to test all things, then hold on to the things which are good and just. Don't fall victim to false teachings. Not everything that has a Christian label on it is good for us.

In James 1:22-25, we're reminded that faith is not just about hearing God's Word—it's about living it. Too often, we can nod along in agreement during a sermon or Bible reading, yet walk away unchanged. God's Word is a mirror showing us who we are and who we can be through Christ—let's not walk away and forget the reflection.
Songs can powerfully remind us of who we are in Jesus, but they can also mix truth with phrases that need biblical clarity. In this episode, we'll explore how Scripture confirms our identity as God's children, loved beyond measure, made in His image, and freed from the lies of the enemy. We'll also address common misunderstandings—like thinking we earn God's pride through performance or that He accepts us without desiring to transform us. The goal is to embrace the beauty of God's truth while keeping our theology anchored in His Word.
James reminds us that many of life's struggles and conflicts begin in our own hearts. We chase what we want, we quarrel, and we often seek fulfillment apart from God. When we resist the devil and turn our hearts toward the Lord, He promises to draw near to us and lift us up in His grace.
In a world filled with competing voices and self-centered thinking, James points us to a higher way—the wisdom that comes from above. This wisdom is pure, peaceable, gentle, and full of mercy, producing good fruit in our lives. In this episode, we'll explore how God calls us to reject the envy and selfish ambition that lead to disorder, and instead walk in the humility and peace that reflect His character. When we seek His wisdom, we not only make better choices—we become living testimonies of His grace.
The tongue is small, but its impact is mighty. In this episode, we explore how our speech can guide lives like a bridle guides a horse, or set entire worlds aflame. God's Word reminds us that the condition of our hearts is revealed through the words we speak. As followers of Christ, we are called to speak with grace, truth, and love—offering life instead of harm. Together, we'll uncover the heart transformation needed to tame the tongue and let our words honor the One we serve.

We'll explore how these two powerful truths complement—not contradict—each other. Join us as we unpack what real, saving faith looks like, and how our actions reveal the heart of what we believe.
In this episode, we dive into James 2:1–13 and confront a hard truth: partiality has no place in the life of a believer. Why do we tend to favor the rich or powerful? How does this contradict the gospel of grace? James calls us to live out our faith with integrity, showing mercy over judgment and loving our neighbor as ourselves. Join us as we explore what it means to live under the “law of liberty” and reflect the heart of God in how we treat others — whether rich or poor, seen or unseen.

From the crowd shouting “Crucify Him!” in Mark 15, to Joshua's bold call, “Choose this day whom you will serve,” to King Agrippa's near-conversion in Acts 26—Scripture reminds us that every heart stands at a crossroads. In this episode, we reflect on the urgency of choosing Jesus—not someday, but today. Indecision is still a decision. Delayed obedience is still disobedience. The question isn't just historical—it's personal: Will you follow Him, or walk away? Don't wait. The choice is yours… and it matters for eternity.
In this episode, we explore the profound biblical commandment to honor our parents, rooted in both Old and New Testament teachings. From the foundational law in Exodus 20:11 and Deuteronomy 5:16, to the solemn warning in Deuteronomy 27:16, and the New Testament reinforcement in Ephesians 6:1-3, we uncover the spiritual weight and blessing attached to honoring our father and mother. We'll also reflect on Jesus' personal example in John 19:26-27 and His broader teaching in Matthew 12:48, where we learn how honor and obedience transcend bloodlines to reflect God's heart. Join us for a thoughtful, Scripture-rich conversation on what it truly means to live out this commandment today.
Jesus said in John 3:19-20 that men loved their sin more than God. That people stayed away from God because they didn't want their evil deeds exposed. These warnings are still present today. In todays episode, I look at two recent events that happened in the world, and show how they relate to the words of Jesus. Keep praying and sharing Jesus with those around you.
In Luke 17:1–5, Jesus speaks some of His most challenging words—warnings about causing others to stumble, commands to forgive repeatedly, and a call to live by faith. If you've ever struggled to forgive—or to believe you can—this episode will help you lean into the strength that comes through faith in Christ.
Luke 15 gives us a glimpse into the heart of God—a Father who searches, a Shepherd who pursues, and a Savior who rejoices over the found. In this episode, we reflect on the parables of the lost sheep, the lost coin, and the prodigal son. Whether you're wandering, waiting, or wondering if God still sees you, be reminded: He hasn't stopped looking. Let this be an invitation to rest in His relentless grace and come home to joy.
In this episode, we dive deep into Jeremiah 2:13 (KJV) — “For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water.” What does it mean to forsake the fountain of living waters? How do we, even today, create “broken cisterns” in our lives? Join us as we unpack this powerful verse, exploring its historical context, spiritual implications, and practical relevance. It's a call to return to the source — to God Himself — and to stop seeking satisfaction in things that ultimately leave us dry and empty.

In Jeremiah 2, God is talking about the faithlessness of Israel. He is asking Israel why they have turned their back on God, and chased after things that are worthless. Here we are, thousands of years later, and people are still turning their back on God. Have you?
The religious leaders failed to recognize Jesus as the Messiah for a variety of reasons. One of which is because they focused on their man made laws and traditions instead of seeing the miracles that Jesus did. Don't become a Pharisee.
In Mark chapters 1 and 2, we see the calling of the first disciples by Jesus. He simply said “Follow Me” and they left all and followed Him. What keeps us from leaving everything to follow Him?
A man, sick with a disease, surrounded himself with friends that would stop at nothing to get their friend healed. We need to imitate this example.
We can learn some valuable things from a man sick with leprosy. Today, we are looking at Mark 1:40-45, and Jesus' healing of a leper.
One thing we see throughout the Gospels is that Jesus took time to be alone with the Father in prayer. Jesus spent countless hours ministering to the people in Israel, but He also always took time for prayer. By spending time in prayer, we not only draw close to God, but we have an understanding of our calling. When was the last time you prayed?
Mark 1:29-34, we see Jesus entering the house of Simon, and finding our his mother in law is sick in bed. Jesus heals her sickness, and immediately she serves them. Why is that? Because Jesus knew the Scriptures and knew the message God had given Him. We need to follow the leading of God when we tell others about Jesus. If God calls you to share your faith with someone, then God will give you the words to say. Your part is to be obedient.
The verses we look at in this episode all have one thing in common- your obedience matters. God wants your obedience. God wants you to trust Him.
Could it be that we have our focus on the wrong thing? Jesus calls His first disciples and told them He'd make them fishers of men. Fishing they understood. Jesus didn't use bait, He simply called people to repentance. Our focus must shift from using “bait” to call people to Christ, and use the Gospel to call people to repentance. When Peter and the disciples went fishing in John 21, they caught nothing. When they followed Jesus' instructions, they caught so much that their nets began to break. Maybe we need to follow Jesus' calling to repent and believe.
During trials, actually at all times, we need to keep our focus on Jesus.

Together, we'll reflect on what it means to let our prayers rise like incense, especially in the moments when words feel few and the heart feels heavy. You're invited to slow down, breathe deep, and let this ancient song shape your evening offering to God.

If you've been dragging around spiritual baggage Jesus already paid to check, it's time to let it go. Walk in grace, drop the guilt trip, and stop giving the enemy a seat at a table he wasn't invited to.

After the Holy Spirit was poured out on the disciples on the day of Pentecost, Peter preached a hard hitting sermon to those who were in Jerusalem. The people responded by asking “What shall we do.” We need to respond like this, but instead, we usually sit in church saying “Lord, Bless me if you can.” We got our priorities mixed up.
God pours out His Spirit into those who put their faith in Him. The question is, does the Spirit flow through you as you use your spiritual gifts? Or are you like. Spiritual dam where the Spirit goes no where.

Jesus called us to walk in love. Unfortunately the world doesn't have the proper biblical definition of love. Love involves doing things that many don't associate with love. Things like judgement, like sharing Jesus.
God gives us power to do several things, including living for Him in this lost world. In fact, Jesus prayers that God will protect us from this evil world. We need to start using the power that God has given us to show Him to a lost and hurting world.
2 Timothy 4:7, Paul is teaching that God did not give us fear. Fear paralyzes our faith and renders us useless to God.
