El acceso a la vivienda se ha convertido en el principal problema para los gallegos, según la última encuesta de Sondaxe publicada en La Voz de Galicia. La falta de soluciones asequibles frena la emancipación juvenil y ensancha la brecha generacional, un fenómeno que hoy analizamos en la sección de Economía con Miguel García Corral. Los datos reflejan un panorama preocupante: en solo dos años, los precios de compra y alquiler en muchas ciudades y zonas turísticas de España han subido cerca del 50%, un ritmo muy superior al de la media europea, que registra incrementos similares en ocho años. Esta situación ha empujado la edad media de emancipación de los jóvenes españoles a los 30 años, casi cuatro años más tarde que en Europa. “No es una elección, es una imposición del mercado”, señaló García Corral. Uno de los principales contrastes con nuestros vecinos europeos radica en la vivienda social. Mientras que en Austria casi una de cada cuatro viviendas es de protección pública y en Holanda tres de cada diez, España apenas supera el 3%. Esto significa que la mayoría de los españoles carece de una red de seguridad frente a los altos precios del mercado. El problema principal, según los expertos, es la falta de oferta. La combinación de alta demanda, presión turística y especulación, junto con la burocracia que ralentiza los proyectos de construcción, limita la disponibilidad de viviendas. España cuenta con casi 4 millones de viviendas vacías, muchas en zonas despobladas o en edificios antiguos, que no se incorporan al mercado. Respecto a posibles soluciones, García Corral advierte que controlar los precios del alquiler tiene efectos limitados. La medida puede llevar a que los propietarios retiren viviendas del mercado, reduciendo aún más la oferta. La vía más eficaz es aumentar la disponibilidad de viviendas, tanto nuevas como existentes, especialmente asequibles y de alquiler público. España necesitaría entre 800.000 y un millón de viviendas públicas para acercarse a los estándares europeos. A corto plazo, la movilización de viviendas vacías podría aliviar la presión del mercado mediante incentivos fiscales o penalizaciones a quienes las mantengan desocupadas. A largo plazo, es imprescindible agilizar la construcción y aumentar el parque de vivienda pública. Aunque los motivos para el optimismo son limitados, García Corral subraya que el problema de la vivienda ha entrado en el centro del debate político y público en España. Un gran Pacto de Estado por la Vivienda podría ser clave para garantizar un acceso seguro y asequible a la vivienda, un elemento fundamental para la estabilidad personal y social.

Esta semana en la sección de economía, Miguel García Corral explicó que la rentabilidad de la deuda pública española se mantendrá baja, alrededor del 1,9%-2,0%, siguiendo la tendencia de los últimos meses y con descenso esperado en los activos a corto plazo por la bajada de tipos del BCE. No obstante, a largo plazo podría aumentar si se prevé un repunte de la inflación. La deuda pública relativa al PIB se reduce, alcanzando un 101,6%, y la reciente mejora en la calificación crediticia de España refleja una mayor confianza internacional. Aunque existen riesgos a medio y largo plazo, como el envejecimiento poblacional, la inversión en depósitos y deuda sigue siendo la opción más segura. Para quienes buscan algo más de rentabilidad y aceptan riesgos, García Corral sugiere fondos de inversión o acciones de empresas estables con dividendos elevados. En la bolsa española, Enagás y Logista ofrecen dividendos superiores al 7%, mientras que Repsol, Telefónica, Naturgy, Unicaja y Sabadell superan el 6%. Sobre la posible absorción de Sabadell por BBVA, el analista considera que, aunque la oferta está cerca de máximos históricos, la decisión de los accionistas es delicada, con ventajas de dividendo a corto/medio plazo y riesgos asociados a la pérdida de competencia en el sector bancario.

La deuda pública sigue siendo una opción segura: a corto plazo ofrece 1,91% y los Bonos del Estado a 10 años alcanzan 3,26%. García Corral aconseja comparar productos y priorizar seguridad y rentabilidad. Indexa Capital asegura que sus clientes están preparados para asumir un mayor riesgo en sus carteras o lo que es lo mismo, a tomar más peso en acciones. El motivo, según su directora de inversiones, Carlota Corral, es que la mayoría de ellos, se centra en un plan a largo plazo y no se deja llevar por los vaivenes del mercado. Según ha explicado en Radio Intereconomía: “el 80% de nuestros clientes aporta mensualmente. Siguen un plan más allá de los vaivenes del mercado (...) eso te garantiza que tengas buenas rentabilidades en el futuro”. Aumenta el peso de las acciones Tras actualizar el Estudio de 2023, con el comportamiento de sus clientes, Indexa Capital ha decidido aumentar la exposición a las acciones para ajustar mejor sus inversiones a cada perfil de riesgo. Indexa Capital aumenta así el peso en los fondos de acciones en sus carteras, de 0 a 100 %. De esta manera, en el perfil 1 -el más conservador” se sube un punto, hasta el 10% la exposición. Y en el perfil 10 se sube hasta el 100%. Formación de Carteras de Indexa Capital A la hora de construir las carteras, Corral ha explicado que su objetivo es “ construir carteras que repliquen la capitalización mundial siguiendo índices como el MSCI ACWI, pero adaptado al inversor europeo”. Es por ello, por lo que desde Indexa Capital se reduce la exposición a acciones de EEUU dado que hay una doble imposición de dividendos. The myth of Wyatt Earp ignited at the ascent of cinema, his alleged Old West exploits embellished on celluloid during the Silent Era so that he was a full-fledged American legend come the golden age of Hollywood. Earp westerns were such an established staple that Law and Order, the first movie to star a surrogate Wyatt, was already out in 1932. All the familiar elements were there - Tombstone, Doc Holliday, the gunfight at the O.K. Corral - but the names of the players were different. From fairly straight biographical retellings including The Arizonian and Dodge City to radical revisions like Sam Fuller's Forty Guns and Edward Dmytryk's Warlock, the "Wyatt Earp movie without Wyatt Earp" has developed into an obscure but crowded subgenre. Who could identify such a subgenre but artist/Old West historian David Lambert, returning to The Pink Smoke to share his thoughts on the cinematic legacy of the killin'est peace officer who ever lived. Why so many thinly-veiled adaptations of the gunfighter's printed legend? How do they stack up next to the official versions, like John Ford's My Darling Clementine?
